i was amazed that this japanese twitter user has figured out 2005 beak repair! (link to OP & original post) they explained in another comment that they use silicone rubber used for sealing/repairing bathroom tiles for the beak! this is all just google translate, but i feel this is REALLY valuable bc ive never seen such a simple but effective way to repair these beaks. details below:

Meet Tostada and Gumdrop!

Gumdrop is an elephant Furby, they were born May 17th ‘99! They are agender, and primarily use He/They/It pronouns!

This is Tostada, and he is a bear Furby! He was born a couple days before Gumball (his birthday being May 12th ‘99) and I suspect they have been a pair since being brought home for the first time ^^ He/Him for now, but I’m not totally sure LOL

Photo of the two on the day I got them 🖤🖤.

Both of them unfortunately have MSA but they wake up after a bit :)
