A Fantasy Developmental Editing Project
Since October 2017 I've been working as a freelance editor and ghostwriter in Italian and English, with a focus on Developmental Editing for fiction writing. Between January and February 2019 I was hired to perform some in-depth editing of the outline of a fantasy novel. An additional coaching hour allowed me and the author to better understand the novel’s strong and weak points, especially in terms of the main protagonists’ Character Arcs. My editing average for this project was 831 words/hour.

My Pinch of Italy is a food blog aimed at UK residents with a passion for Italian cuisine. The owner of the website hired me in June 2018 to perform a complete rebranding of the website, to review the core concept of the project and the brand’s tone of voice, and to create a new content plan. This collaboration is currently ongoing; I am in charge of editing and proofreading the articles, and copywriting and scheduling the website’s social media presence.
