Link Arms / El Salvador

We are just a day from our Link Arms trip to El Salvador with our good friends Takin Back. It is overwhelming to think that just six short months ago we decided to take a step of faith with God to provide 6 months of education and 1500 pairs of shoes. God has been so so faithful each step of the way. Starting with our "Be The Link" night of worship at Evangel University where God blessed us with enough to provide students in El Salvador with 6 months of Education. Then two months later the "Honor Connor Run" raised enough money for 1500 pairs of shoes for the people of El Salvador. Our team will be taking 500 this trip and shipping the other 1000 over the next few months. We are so expect that God is going to use our team of 10 to glorify his name is some amazing ways. Please pray for our safety and that God will use us to make his name known.

We will be posting blog posts and photos over the next week while in El Salvador. Thank you so much for your love, support, and prayers.

Feet That Move Summer Retreat 2013

Tomorrow we begin our 2013 summer retreat as an organization. Our interns begin work tomorrow as we tell them more about Feet That Move and goal set over the next three days. We are so excited and expectant that God is going to do a mighty work through our team this summer to make his name known. We will setting 1,5,10 year goals as well as development goals for this upcoming year. We are excited about nailing down our 2013/ 2014 trips as well. Please be praying for our team as we embark on this summer as an organization!

Scaremare

Tonight, we'll be joining the masses of Liberty University students in downtown Lynchburg for a night of surprises, screams, and plenty of the Gospel. Sound like an odd combination? At dusk, people from all over the East Coast will travel to the Burg and line up to experience one of the biggest and best haunted houses around. At the end are several tents where participants are given the opportunity to hear the Gospel, pray with students, and if they feel led, accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. It's a brilliant way of taking a holiday that is often connoted as demonic and evil and using it as an opportunity to answer God's call to ministry and serve the community.

Near the exit, Feet That Move will have a tent pitched where we will be meeting and greeting everybody, getting to know some students and people in the community, and providing information to the public about our mission, ministry, and movement. We'll also be taking e-mails to help stay in contact with those interested in supporting us, either through prayer, finances, or even through volunteering to serve! Come out and see us, talk to us, and learn how you can help give shoes, and ultimately the message of Jesus Christ, to a person in need! Hope to see you there!

Joy in his presence
