Some of you all need to learn what "red flag" means
It does not mean that if a person does a single thing thats considered a "red flag" they an evil abuser
It means they did something kinda sus
It means they made a bad choice
Or it means they did a dick move
They can even be having a bad day
The reason it's a red flag is because it could be part of a larger pattern of abusive behaviour
Could be does not equal Definitely Is
A red flag happens and you mentally take note and see how they react to being called on their bad behaviour and if they do more red flags
Everyone is "problematic" but we are also all growing individuals with the capacity to learn
You will have said and done things you aren't proud of in your life. That doesn't make you evil or bad because you did something once that is a "red flag"
Red flags and green flags are little indications of someone's behaviour. If a person ends up with more red flags then green and isn't willing or trying to better themselves... thats when you get concerned. Not when your friend has a bad day and snaps at you only to apologise later.
Inspired by the scene in Relight 2: L's Successors where Light has a majority of the SPK killed. Near calls him and sits in tense silence (and a pool of blood).
"Just like we talked about in this booth, back in middle school."
"It was that booth."
"Are you sure it was that one?"
"Yep. That booth."
I love that Min just lies in this scene because he's upset about Ryan leaving.
The pictures are at slightly different angles, so I overlapped the window and recorded a transition of one image to another, but- it's almost exactly the same. There's no way what Min is saying is true.
Like, the first watch through I thought it was supposed to tell us something about Ryan. That he isn't focused, that he doesn't remember things as well, that he didn't care for detail.
But it's telling us about Min. He holds grudges! He's petty! He wants to be right and won't admit it when he's wrong!
