“...why are you here?”

     The same question applied to her too, of course, but... but she wanted to hear another’s thoughts on the situation. For Feldt to be away from the Ptolemy, her home, was so strange. Strange and unfamiliar-uneasy. She wanted to know why she was here even if it was due to some apparent ‘demise’.

     After a few mere seconds go by, Feldt realizes she hadn’t worded her question quite right. Sheepishly, her voice starts up again.

“Oh, um. I mean here at this... whole place.”

      Ah-- unless her eyes were playing tricks on her, was that... a kid? Here she was in the forest area walking back to the lobby, when suddenly she spotted someone else nearby. Taking a few more glances, she had to wonder if perhaps this kid was lost...? He was in the forest area, so there was a possibility.

    Leaving a kid there after noticing them wouldn't be right, now would it? Feldt has never dealt with children, but she figured it was only the right thing to do in this situation.

     She timidly smiled at the boy.

     "Hello there. Are you lost?"

     The library. She’s naturally heard of such a place, with books upon books, but she’s never actually been to one, since she’s lived almost the entirety of her life in space. Speaking of space, there were probably books about space with pictures of the stars and planets. A brief smile overcame her with the thought, but that wasn’t why she came here. No, she was here for...

     Books on mechanics. Books on engineering. Something, anything, like that. Feldt hoped that maybe she could learn to build some kind of robot and eventually a mecha, though she knew that was beyond idealistic. At any rate, it's not like she was having much luck finding anything that would be helpful. She has plenty of knowledge on technology, but that mostly dealt with computers and how Gundams operate, not how to actually build anything like that.

     Momentarily giving up, Feldt approached a figure walking by. He seemed young, so he probably wouldn’t have a clue, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask, would it?

     “…excuse me, do you… know anything about robots?”

    Since coming here, Feldt hasn’t had a decent meal. Well, it's not like she ate all that much back home in space, either...but it’s not like she planned to do anything else in particular, and somehow she just wound up in the dining hall.

     Carrying her food, she had to decide where to sit. It was practically empty, but there seemed to be someone else already sitting. He didn’t exactly seem approachable, but Feldt knew no one here, so she figured it was in her best interest to make an effort to socialize. Even if she was far from used to that.

     One step, two steps. Slowly she made her way over to the other, eventually approaching the person.

     “Um, do you…” she felt shaky, but kept composure. “…mind if I sit with you?”

another wanderer

{} Even before her eyes slowly opened, Feldt could tell something was wrong. She felt a sense of unease and helplessness, as she recalled the mysterious voice from the speaker say there was no escape.

Of course that made her worry, but could there really be no way of leaving whatever this place was? She'd only just gotten here, and already she was missing home, where everyone from Celestial Being was. Feldt was unused to being all alone like this, where nobody she knew was.

Still, she could handle this. All the pink haired girl knew was that she had to remain calm and brave, like a certain Meister she knows. Taking a few steps out of the lobby, then into the courtyard, she stopped to look around. It certainly felt refreshing to be outside. And the fountains were pretty to look at.

As she gazed at the water, she soon realized she wasn't alone, sensing the presence of another.

"O-Oh," she lets out on accident, making eye contact with the stranger. "...are you... enjoying the scenery as well?"
