omg apparently artificial banana flavoring is based on the gros michel banana which was wiped out by a banana plague in the 50s and the banana we eat today is a totally different thing called the cavendish and thats why banana candy doesnt taste like bananas do you know how lied to i feel. like there was a fucking banana apocalypse and no one told me about it until now

I have lost about 15 lbs so far during my pregnancy. When I start gaining it back, does that count towards pregnancy weight gain? For example: If i gain 3 pounds next month does it count at a 3 pound gain, or a 12 pound loss still?

Does anybody know?

Oh man....

My dog is a rescue from the pound. They think she was used for breeding based on her lady parts and nips. She's older and tends to be stinky :) She's sweet though, and just wants love.

My son has friends over today because we're having a barbeque later. They were laughing and playing and then Atreyu comes up to me and says "Momma, isn't fergina a bad word? Landon said that the dog has a nasty floppy fergina. I told him not to be mean, because she can't help it if she's old and nasty"

He got distracted before I could answer him, but I think we may need to have a talk later... about "ferginas". He still insists that Mommys pee out of their butt because we sit when we pee. I'm not prepared for this.

I never took any of those classes and my son is a happy and healthy 5 year old now. I think they're great for people that need to gain more confidence for birth or parenthood, but they're just not for everybody.

Are baby classes necessary? Like, I have about 3 books about birthing, babies, and breastfeeding and I’m still being forced to go to these classes.
