disclaimer: none of these photos have had any alterations in external editing programs. to achieve the same result, you will need a simple mod that changes the sky tone, called Blurry Skies by @simnopke.

this preset was created from an existing one for TS4, named birdie by sforz. so all the requirements that the creator shares along with their reshade, you NEED to download (if you don’t want to download the birdie reshade, just put the reshade-shaders folder in the correct directory).

when I thought about creating my own preset, i wanted to bring a next-gen game feel to it and 'softly reminder' fell into my graces when I started to create.

the photorealism present in the aesthetic caught me from the start and I believe it will be the reason you will download. i play with these graphics and get an average frame rate of 20, but by decreasing the MXAO and removing the ADOF, you get a higher rate.

basic requirements

your reshade will only work if you install all these shaders in the ‘reshade-shaders’ folder.

Hi!, it's been so long since my real last post, but i'm back!

So recently i've been obsseced with Life Is Strange so i figured i could recreate the Two Whales in TS2, and i was so happy people converted stuff from that game to here!

Godos - 1 year - Autumn Sum up

A lot has happened during autumn, but I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about a thing that wasn't documented here.

Firstly, the community lots. Right now, we have four of them:

Toy Store - Owned by Caleb - 1 lvl

Community park

Sunny Paradise - Beach

All-in-one Corner Store

I feel like it would be more interesting to make sim earn next community lots, not necessarily make them own one. So from now on we will collect taxes at the beginning of every rotation. I think we can go with 20% tax for now and if someone has less than $1000 in their bank account then they don't have to pay anything.

Also, looking into the future, we will also need to earn money to build university. I will borrow the BACC rule for that and say that one university town will cost us $1.000.000 (not sure if it is not too much since I don't want to have too many sims in the neighborhood).

Ring box Texture replacement

Have you seen your sims propose so many times that you got tired of seeing the same dark blue ring box?

Don't worry! I'm here to help you!

Replacing the old dark blue box with a new improved and prettier red velvet box! It doesn't change the mesh and only replaces one texture so it's pretty light and won't affect your game loading times!

It will not affect any replacements for the engagement rings, only the box itself.

UPDATE: CINEMA SECRETS LIGHTING MOD

Made shadows more consistent during the day

Changed shadow direction all time of day and seasonal states

Made the cheap wall lights a bit dimmer

Added extra saturation to neon lights

Moved CAS lighting switch to Lighting.txt

Deleted unnecessary lighting config files to World Lit By Fire addon

Changed default lighting algorithm from 4 to 3

As this is a large update, make sure to do a clean install to avoid problems.

Now you can replace the cloudy stuff in TS2 fountains with something that looks like actual water. Get it from MTS

There are some fountain recolours, too.

NEW “APARTMENT”: GERMINATED HOUSE

Hi! Well, in the last post I only announced the new apartments and didn’t show any pictures of them to you (it was cruel of my part). But, today I come to show you only one of them, the Germinated House, this lot is my favorite of all!

INFORMATION:

Each “apartment” has three rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a room for you to do whatever you want (I imagined skill items in the room).

An extensive backyard for you to do whatever you want, from gourmet to farming, you name it!

The rental range is +§2,000

In the family district

I know, it’s too little for me to show, but I’m doing my best to bring you better photos to visualize the best experience for you. My computer isn’t good enough to make The Sims 2 look good, however, my friend @boringbones is helping me with this. My final thanks goes to @criquette-was-here​, who without Feverfew or her CCs NOTHING would be possible, you are damn talented. I luv u guys and I hope you understand, until the next post ^^
