Experimental Type Design

(NAH)TURAL aims to explore the presence, impact and social normalization of fake nature. 

By merging two well known typographies such as HELVETICA and BODONI ORNAMENTS, we create a digital approximation to nature based on fake ornamental shapes. The result appears as an eclectic and artificial type that neither reflects nature nor human design, exposing once again the constant presence of (nah)ture.

UNA VASIJA ES UN DESEO

Entre sujeto y herramienta

¿Qué construye la relación que se establece entre el sujeto y la herramienta? A través de la observación, especulación y reflexión, pretendo dibujar una línea temporal que englobe des de el deseo y conceptualización inicial de un utensilio, hasta su impacto final en el mundo real, pasando siempre por el sujeto como medio. ¿Qué es una herramienta? ¿Qué la constituye? ¿Cómo y porqué las creamos? ¿Cómo nos afectan? Todas éstas preguntas encuentran respuesta des de una nueva óptica ante el tópico: la relación sujeto - objeto es bidireccional. Nosotros creamos herramientas, y éstas nos crean a nosotros, definiendo nuestro modus operandi, rutinas y maneras de relacionarnos con el entorno. Somos la reacción a nuestras propias creaciones.

Branding design

Revista colaborativa multidisciplinar sobre temas aleatorios. Random Magazine explora un tópico random en cada tomo. Ésta pretende generar un espacio de experimentación, especulación y reflexión a través del diseño.

Cada tópico es escogido al azar entre todas las propuestas recibidas. Una vez determinado, invitamos a varios jóvenes creativos a exponer su visión sobre el tema en cuestión, generando así múltiples perspectivas sobre éste. No hay restricciones de contenido, ni de técnica.
