Pretty is not a sin

I use to believe that pretty was a curse when bestowed upon a woman. If one was pretty they couldn't be smart. I wanted to be known as smart. I am smart. If one was pretty they couldn't be responsible. I wanted to be known as responsible. I am responsible. If one was pretty they didn't, they couldn't possibly prioritize anything else. Even though I felt this way, I was enamored with the pretty things in life. The pretty cheerleaders in high school. The pretty pictures on my Pinterest vision boards. The pretty dreams of my future self that danced in my head. Pretty is a ministry. Pretty is a spiritual gift. Pretty is a blessing. I can prioritize pretty and seek first the kingdom of God. It wasn't until my 29th birthday, this very October that I realized this entire time I could be pretty and .....
