Another addition to the Danganronpa au- the dorm layout!

I've just realised I forgot to put on Harold's lol it's on the left hand side of Bridgette's. The rooms are all kind of moved to the right slightly.

While the school itself is based on hopes peak from the first game (hence why I'll be using the maps from that game) there will be changes to the rooms available- possibly even adding or taking away rooms. ;) this will be shown by my horrible editing 🤣

So, there are in fact subtle hints to stuff based on the map, including shades on a certain someone's name and things that will only make sense later! So if you can catch (and correctly guess) them now then good eye!

I will be posting any other map changes as the chapters require.

But overall, I hope that the map helps with visualising stuff! Maybe something to keep in mind with alibis :))))

Just a fair warning though, I won't be able to post a new chapter next week since I'll be on holiday, but after that I should be returning to my usual once/twice a week updates at a more reasonable schedule!!!

People do not talk enough about Alejandro's ability to hypnotize. I mean his willing 'victim' was Owen, but that was to cure his acrophobia and nothing else. Noah not being concerned nor suspicious about what the eel did to his friend is criminal. It makes you wonder why Alejandro didn't use his hypnotism skills on any other contestants to get further into the game (like Neha) or if he has ever used it on anyone else at all. Alejandro learned this skill from his uncle Julio, what if José also shares these same abilities and is, of course just better at it?.

Btw, bit of a rant in this one plus a fic idea at the end.

I think that it's because, in real life, hypnotism is just suggestions. Like, it's a common misconception that hypnotism is some kind of 'take over your brain, making you do things you don't want to do' kind of thing. But the key thing is that when hypnotised, you are still fully conscious and aware of what's going on around you.

People who undergo hypnosis say that it's cozy, peaceful, relaxing, euphoric even- like when you're just about to go to sleep after a successful day but are still aware of what's happened. Like when you're daydreaming or really invested in a good book/movie. The only people who forget are those who genuinely believe that you can forget.

And the suggestions themselves are just that, suggestions. When in that state, the suggestions seem like a good idea but it kind of works like intrusive thoughts. If you intrusively think 'hey, should I press this button?', then you are far more likely to do that then, let's say, 'oh, should I stab this person?' any normal person wouldn't do the second, even when deep under hypnosis.

In general, it all depends on your personality and what you'd be willing to do when out of the trance.

Examples

So for instance, let's say two people go under, one person is naturally stoic and the other is naturally really expressive. If they were both told to jump, then they wouldn't jump the same way. One would probably do a little hop and the other would jump as high as they could.

Izzy and Noah wouldn't act the same under hypnosis. If they were both under and told to bite a bear, Izzy would without hesitation because she's impulsive and it's something she'd probably do normally. Whereas Noah would probably be more like, 'huh that sounds like a good idea- wait, what the hell- why would I bite a bear? That's actually stupid. I'm leaving.' Izzy would, Noah wouldn't.

Owen

So take Owen for example, he wanted to get rid of his acro/aerophobia. And as for the humiliation thing, you can't tell me that Owen wouldn't do that kind of thing willingly if he thought it'd make someone laugh. He does silly stuff all the time like that, especially for the bit.

However, that doesn't make what Alejandro did right. Because it wasn't discussed beforehand, Owen hadn't agreed to it- it was still trickery. That's what I believe Noah would be mad about.

But when it comes to Owen, I think that the hypnosis phenomenon kind of plays a part. Basically, hypnosis is as effective and controlling as the person being hypnotised believes it to be.

So if Owen believes he'd do stupid stuff, won't be able to remember being told it and have his acro/aerophobia cured, then all of that stuff has a significantly higher chance of happening. Owen is really gullible and impressionable, hence him being really easy to hypnotise.

So the hypnotism couldn't really apply to the rest of the contestants. Either because they wouldn't trust Alejandro enough, don't have a reason to find hypnosis useful/effective or because there's no point in hypnotising them if they would be willing to do those things anyways. It's more of a tool for leverage than a tool to puppeteer someone.

José

I think that José being better at hypnosis would be more of him being better at getting people to let their guards down around him. Better at being more sociably manipulative. Which is of course very dangerous. But honestly, I see José as someone who uses more pickup artist techniques whereas Alejandro uses flattery.

The main reason I thought this was because there was a period of time where people thought that pick-up artists are genuinely more successful then other men due to how they'd get like, 2-3 women a day. But what wasn't discussed back then was that these men were approaching anywhere between 15-30 women a day and using horrible techniques to do so. The 2-3 were how many were successful. Obviously, the numbers aren't 100% accurate, I'm pretty sure the success rate was far lower than that.

Fics in general

But ig that using hypnosis as a fantastical plot device is pretty entertaining- a way of getting characters to do what they wouldn't usually do. I get it, corruption arcs are fun.

Honestly though, I want more alenoah hypnosis fics- ones that aren't just 'Noah's descent into evil while Alejandro puppeteers him'. Because there is so much potential for fluffier scenarios.

Hypnosis is inherently intimate- letting someone else have even the slightest degree of control of your mind? Trusting them enough to go under, knowing they wouldn't try to make you do something you wouldn't want to because even if they did, you could snap out of it? Allowing yourself to be both physically and mentally vulnerable in front of another person- for another person?

Give me fics where Neha/Noah had a headache or is stressed and the hypnosis is used to help with it.

Give me ones where Alejandro does it and is surprised that someone so guarded would allow him to see the rawest version of (her)himself. That after everything he's done, someone trusts him.

Give me ones where Alejandro teaches Neha/Noah how to perform basic hypnosis, allowing himself to be used as a test subject. Actually going under and realising that he genuinely trusts Noah/Neha.

Fic idea

Or, if you're looking for more of a fic with a plot, what about Alejandro initially setting out to help with 'Noah's' insomnia/chronic fatigue so he can get a favour (alliance/vote) out of it.

So 'Noah' would feel indebted to him. Work with him in the competition and take back 'his' eel comment.

Alejandro knowing that he can't implement any further triggers like with Owen without 'him' catching on and not trusting him, therefore meaning he wouldn't be able to use it to his advantage anymore as 'he'd' no longer be susceptible.

Have it be the reason he finds out about Noah=Neha. The reason he starts acting more open towards her subconsciously since he's always seeing her in more unguarded moments.

The reason he becomes more protective, because he's the one she trusts with this. He's the one who's been gifted with protecting her mind so why the hell would he let anyone else try to get to her, try to manipulate her or take that brilliant mind away from him?

Have him fall for her in moments of vulnerability where they aren't linked to a competition without even realising he did. Have them become more in tune with each other over a period of time, practically knowing what the other is planning on doing.

Have Neha be more active in the competition, not because Alejandro is manipulating her or ordering her to via hypnosis, but because she feels more relaxed, yet more energetic, for the first time in what feels like forever. Have her act more friendly, the typical headaches that constantly plagued her are barely noticeable and she no longer feels constantly irritated when around others.

Have her be more willing to talk to Alejandro about personal things, liking him as he himself acts more natural- more human. Growing attached to the softness he can display one moment that he can easily twist into something sharper the next. Even if he still can be a bit of a dick, so is she so can she really complain about it?

Have other contestants be suspicious of this, misunderstanding how hypnosis actually works and think it's some kind of brainwashing thing. Either have a white knight syndrome reaction or an 'I'll just steal his pawn first' reaction.

Basically a story all about trust, the formation of it, the lack of it, and how healthy relationships are formed on unconditional trust because you know the other person, who they truly are and care for them because of it.

I might write a drabble at some point, idk. But I do definitely agree with you that it isn't talked about nearly enough. There's just so much missed potential about hypnosis, especially with Alenoah and it kind of makes me sad to think of.

As much as I love that Noah has a pet Labrador Retriever, but I believed it was a missed opportunity for him to have a pet Rottweiler or a Cane Corso. Imagine it, Neha with her diminutive physique and she is walking one of the most "dangerous and scariest" dogs ever. Everyone is too scared to approach because of her 'vicious' dog, but said dog is just a big, clingy, hyperactive baby that can drag Neha around like a rag doll.

Bold of you to assume she doesn't get one almost immediately after she moves out. As protection.

But it is a missed opportunity. Ig the dog being a Labrador is supposed to juxtapose Noah's personality, which is comedic. Cause we all know that Noah is practically a walking stereotype of a typical cat person. (Or even a black cat archetype).

But it's also why I don't think small dogs would work well. So I'm in 100% agreement about the bigger dogs that could potentially drag her around. Maybe one called dolphin- dolly/doll for short. But then dolphin is like a rottweiler or even an Irish wolfhound.

They're the perfect don't talk to me dogs that (when trained and given affection) are also super devoted and loving towards their owners.

I give you this: Cody and Harold having a crush on Neha. Even though Harold was dating Leshawna. On TDA episode "2008: A Space Owen," Harold actually believed he had a shot with Heather. And at Playa Des Losers, he was reading a book about beavers to Neha, even though she never asked him to. Hoping she would be attracted by his intellect. Which is not the case because Neha finds Harold absolutely annoying. She is already insecure about her looks, and having 2 dorks trying to date her is not helping.

🤣🤣, ik I joke on about her being a crazy magnet, but imagine her being a dork magnet as well. Except that where one is just her being the 'straightman' to her unhinged friends/family, the other is the type of people who usually find her attractive.

She's the stereotypical quiet girl with a book. Except the reason she's quiet isn't because she's shy, it's because she genuinely despises interacting with people. So, much to her dismay and annoyance, all the dorks and geeks and nerds just flock to her. God help her if she ever meets any of the contestants from the other season. She'd be the antithesis of like, both Justin and Sierra.

Harold's flirting just being infodumping is so real tho. He'd probably do different animal's mating rituals if I'm being completely honest. Like wearing brighter colours, dancing.

And yeah, Neha'd totally be frustrated that these are the kind of people who are attracted to her. So sue her for wanting an intelligent person who actually knows the definition of hygiene.

It is a real shame we never see Noah in his sleepwear in the original show. Or any of Team E-scope for that matter (except Owen), so here is headcanon of what they wear for pajamas.

Neha: Wears an oversized short-sleeved nightgown, but it is actually a hand-me-down grunge band t-shirt that used to belong to one her brothers. She is not a morning person and is often seen leaning against Owen dozing off. Crazy bedhead that Alejandro finds attractive. Neha also sleeps with an extra pillow because of her nasty habit to grab just anything near her arms.

Eva: Wears a matching set of purple cotton pajamas and wears her hair down with earmuffs.

Izzy: Wears footie pajamas

More proof that Noah is secretly a girl acting 🤔 (just look at the swimsuit models, all the guys have definition on their bodies or some other lines except Noah who just has 3 dots... I'm not saying that it's a compression top with dots drawn on it, but I totally am) cause they'd know very well that her sleep wear would give it away so on island, she just slept in a version of her costume.

But normally? 100% oversized top as a nightie, maybe even joggers on really cold nights. But she also sleeps with like, 5 blankets soooo....

I feel like at some point she'd start wearing a night bonnet since it makes brushing hair so much less effort in the morning, especially thick and/or curly hair. But before that, bed head for days that made Alejandro fight the urge to scream (for many reasons).

Eva has a whole kit out, earmuffs, sleeping mask, fluffy socks etc. and they all match with her pyjamas. Does this mean she has multiple sets of all of them? Yes. Yes it does. Oh, and also a stuffed teddy. But only at home. She does not let the other contestants see it.

Izzy I feel like either just sleeps in her clothes (cause girl is unhinged) or a mix match of holiday pyjamas. Halloween shorts with a Christmas top and a valentine's day themed bonnet. Though her bedding is 100% footie themed. Mainly cause she liked the colours.

TD World Tour, but with more locations (aka was totally not inspired by KDA at all)

The plane lands in South Korea, and the challenge is to form a Kpop band. Judges will evaluate them on costume design, choreography, and song. Kpop girl band vs Kpop boy band.

Alejandro wasted no time in being lead singer and did most of the work in forming the band. From designing the costumes, writing the lyrics and coming up with the choreography. With Alejandro being too distracted, Cody and Duncan took it upon themselves to pick out the band name (something stupid that Alejandro hates), but it was too late to change the name.

Heather and Courtney spent most of the time arguing about who should be lead singer for so long that Chris had to intervene and made Neha the lead singer instead. Gwen and Neha wrote the lyrics, Heather designed the costumes, and Courtney came up with the choreography. Sierra (who wanted the band to be called Cody Is Amazing), but before she could. Neha quickly stopped her and just erased a few letters.

TBF, I had also thought about this a couple months back for a different au. One where Izzy (for shits and giggles) decides to stay on team Amazon but (with Sierra's help) convinces Chris to have the Cody and 'Noah' swap. Cause in her mind, that way team Amazon is truly team Amazon.

I had also thought about adding more challenges (maybe even more contestants but I'm not 100% sure on that), South Korea being one of them. The challenge would be either doing their own small kdrama (iykyk) or perform a song, I hadn't decided, probably both within a time limit

Another, I would switch up the France and English challenges. So the English one would be more of a heist. Like, stealing from a certain museum. But they have to do it proper spy style, maybe one team is designated as the thieves and the others as the police. It would be a lot earlier, and the Neha=Noah reveal.

The France one would be later in the game and the partner one since Paris' supposed to be the city of love. It'd be a set of mini challenges that represents parts of a date while handcuffed together. Like a mini eating challenge, a quiz, a dress up challenge and an obstacle course.

Maybe even Scotland as well, poetry and making haggis (once again, iykyk).

I'd probably change Greece to be a more varied relay as well. Like one contestant has to run a race, the next has to solve a puzzle and then the last has to play an instrument or something like that. Mainly since I believe there should be more varied challenges other than just physical ones

TDWT Assistant Neha AU:

Neha would spend her break in the Economy class with Owen and Izzy by handing them out some (edible) food. Much to Alejandro's envy because she is never too busy to spend time with her friends, but is always suspiciously busy to talk to him.

Sometimes Neha would join Chef in the cockpit taking the role as his co-pilot and Chef really enjoys the company, giving Neha her own pilot hat. Father-daughter bonding!

The crew of Total Drama would often find Neha asleep in the cockpit with Chef or in the cargo hold with the animals used for the show. One time they found Neha sleeping and locked inside one of the cage of Jordan the Lion. Don't worry he's harmless but only for Neha. Chris, being a total cheapskate and seeing no reason to, stopped hiring animal-wranglers because the animals don't obey anyone but Neha.

After the plane departed Yukon, Neha came down with a major fever and Chris, being a concerned Dad host. Made Chef fly all the way to New York to take her to the hospital.

Technically, Neha doesn't even have time to visit Owen and Izzy since she's working even in her breaks. Though eventually, she does start seeking out Alejandro after having a surprisingly intelligent conversation with him. What can she say, she needs enrichment.

Oh yeah, Neha is totally taking advantage of this to get her pilots licence. Technically speaking she has a learners permit and since Chef is ex military, he can teach her a ton.

Chef totally has a cupboard of blankets in the cockpit. Right next to the alcohol one. Both cupboards have locks on them, but somehow Neha keeps getting in.

What else was he supposed to do? Neha saves him a lot of money, being able to do the job of like 5 and a half members staff way more efficiently...

She'll complain non stop about her job and working, but gets it done anyways. She also sometimes gives Chris wrong info (or bribes the interns to...) just to troll him

More Hogwarts AU Lore:

The reason why Sierra knows so much about everyone (especially Cody) is that she is a seer, and a powerful one at that. Accurately predicting future events about all of her classmates in a matter of minutes. This naturally creeps them out. She was the one who told Heather that she will turn bald because of a spell going wrong, and sadly Heather did not believe her.

Sierra also packed numerous cameras and phones to photograph her time at the school (and of course take pictures of Cody).

Izzy, Heather, and Courtney all have time-turners.

Izzy and Beth will sometimes team up and use their metamorphmagus abilities to prank others BY IMPERSONATING EACH OTHER. No one can tell them apart except for the Devi siblings.

Beth found out about Chris and Chef being a couple by accident. She altered her appearance to look like Chef and snuck into Chris’s office, believing the two faculty members weren’t at the school during that time. But Beth was wrong, for she ran into Chris, who was getting a bit too handsy with her. Beth fled the room once Chris began to undress, and she remains traumatized by the event.

Changed my mind. Heather’s patronus charm is a Komodo dragon, and Leshawna’s is a lioness.

Harold’s parents are pure-bloods, but others see them as “blood-traitors”. And his patronus is a spectacled owl.

Geoff’s patronus is a porpoise.

Trent’s patronus is a song thrush. He comes from a pure-blood family, but does not show prejudiced towards Muggles.

Katie and Sadie’s patronus are both sheep.

Cody is an unregistered animagi taking the form of a chipmunk. With the reason being to hide from Sierra (and spy on the girl’s dormitory). Unfortunately for Cody, Sierra still manages to find him because she is a Seer.

By force of habit, Neha’s brothers extend their big brother roles to their younger classmates in their respective houses.

Owen has on numerous occasions accidentally broken doorknobs and ripped doors off their hinges because of his incredible strength. He doesn’t mean it and is always apologizing, he just needs better control of his strength.

The Devi siblings almost never sit at the Slytherin table (because most of the people they hate sit there).

The Goblet of Fire chose Eva as champion to represent Wawanakwa-Hogwarts in the Triwizard Tournament, and she won. Much to José ’s displeasure, for he was jealous that the Goblet of Fire chose a Muggle and a Gryffindor to represent their school over him. Going as far as to state that the Goblet itself needs proper repairing or just needs to be replaced.

Tbh, I was in a toss up about Sierra or Lindsay being a seer. But either way, no one would believe them... Cassandra core

Neha totally steals Izzy's time turner so she can get extra nap times in. Like one moment you'll see her napping on a windowsill, then you turn a corner and she's in class wide awake. When you turn back, there's no one else there....

Eva just accidentally makes up spells. Like, she brute forces magic into doing whatever she wants cause it's magic. Why the hell would there be rules on what magic is capable of?

However, she is absolutely terrible at casting the spells they learn in class. They're too structured...

Idk, I feel like the Devi siblings wouldn't care. In fact, they'd probably do it just to purposefully piss off any one they don't like. They'll be extra loud about it as well.

Now I think I need team E-scope just ganging up on José in retaliation for something. Like, originally they let him be because one of the brothers had claim on toying with him, but then José crossed a boundary.

All of the Devi siblings are pretty morally grey no matter what house they're in. Like, they have their values (centered around their family) but apart from that, they don't really care. Rules are just suggestions and as long as they don't get caught, who really cares? Pretty Adamms family esque

Gwen, Bridgette, DJ and Neha have a 'magical creatures club' so they can study- and look after- different creatures. Izzy also joined but got banned since the only reason she did it was to set them loose in the school. Namely, the niffler incident (which one definitely isn't being kept in Neha and Gwen's dorm room as a pet....)

Chris totally trolls the board and the parents all the time. In fact, he even makes a reality TV show in the school for a month because of all the dumb stuff that goes on in the school. (Like wwdits)

Lindsay has gossip sessions with the ghosts and paintings all of the time

Lesbeans. I think I might write this into a fic when I'm done with the Danganronpa au one. Because honestly, the ship is underrated (platonic or romantic) and their possible dynamic could have so much potential.

After world tour, Courtney decides to go to uni in another country- England. Mainly so she can avoid Duncan and Gwen and every one else who supported the cheaters. This is also an excuse for me to write what I know lollll

So she goes to Cambridge university. She also decides to apply for a shared dorm for a, the experience and b, it's cheaper. The dorm she goes for is pet friendly so she can bring Brittany with her, since she won custody over her.

Her parents go to drop her off and help her settle in which is where she meets her new roomie and her family. So imagine her surprise when she opens the door there are 9 men and a very familiar looking person with slightly longer hair.

Everything gets cleared up pretty quickly, 'Noah's' name is actually spelt Noa and the whole thing from total drama was just a miscommunication that Noa couldn't be bothered to rectify. Too much effort.

So Noa has 8 brothers and was raised by a single dad, her mum left when she was young. Her dad does genuinely try his best but she was raised as one of the guys since he didn't really know any better. She gets their hand-me-downs, her dad takes her to his trusted barbers etc.

Courtney is studying law and Noa is studying medicine. She had originally planned on going on a bunch of TV shows with Owen but wanted a backup plan in place in case the whole TV show host thing didn't work out, hence attending uni. And her choice for degree and uni was due to the doctors that helped her after the eel incident. She gets seizures because of it and has an assistance dog.

Alongside Courtney's raccoon, there's also Noa's two dogs: goldfish and angelfish (support). Aka, Goldie and Angel. It's a girls' dorm.

At first, the two don't really interact much but then Courtney gets invited out to a party and brings Noa with her so that she knows at least someone.

After that the two are fast friends. And they kind of match each other's freak in a way. Like, Courtney wants to plan all of their days together and wants to know what she's doing constantly? That's fine, Noa was going to ask if she could put a tracker on her any way (something she's had to do a lot considering the antics her brothers and friends get into...)

Courtney forces Noa to take care of herself (eating properly, exercising at least a little bit) and Noa wrangles her into relaxing and chilling out.

They totally wear each others clothes as well. It sort of just becomes a what's mine is yours scenario.

They have a lot of study dates that eventually turn into actual dates.

Typically, their dates would include exploring different castles, going to arcades, eating out, watching movies on Noa's laptop, walking their pets, karaoke.

Noa has a car in England, Courtney got a licence for a motorbike (something she learned when she was with Duncan).

Tyler is on RR with Owen instead and the two watch them. Tyler went with Owen instead since they bonded on WT and Leshawna couldn't do any more game shows so they partnered up. The girls also watch roti to make fun of the new batch.

A year and a half after they start their degrees, Courtney gets a call saying she has to join the next session- all stars

Noa manages to convince Chris to give her her old job back so she can go with Courtney for the season

Courtney decides to try and win it so she can buy Noa and herself a better house in England for the next couple of years.

The Alejandro option~

Noa is still a bit hung up on him which she finds stupid seeing as they only interacted for like a month and a bit. And clearly he hates her since he hasn't reached out to her or responded to her attempts. Obviously, Courtney is well aware of this.

So, imagine their surprise when he comes out of a robot.

Courtney is outwardly livid at Chris, so much so that she gets immediately swapped with Gwen to the villains team for threatening him.

Noa on the otherhand overhauls their med tent and takes over, kicking out Chef since clearly neither of them are competent enough to get someone professional treatment.

Courtney decides to take one for the team and starts wooing Alejandro since he and Heather aren't actually currently together so technically speaking, he's still fair game. She'd give up as soon as he gives off any indication of being in a relationship since she isn't a homewrecker.

This is, once again, something she and Noa have talked about before (communicationnnnnnnn). It does also eventually work with Courtney's flirting and Noa's stop doing that if it's making your injuries hurt more, you stupid eel.

I mean, if you want to add even more drama then Noa and Mal could be exes from years ago that ended on very bitter terms (like him getting sent to juvie).

Owen, greeting Neha: “Hey, little buddy!”

(assistant) Neha, writing something on her clipboard: “Not now Owen. I am busy.���

Owen, slightly disappointed: “Oh, uh. What are you doing?”

Neha, smirking: “Your mom.”

Owen, feeling betrayed, begins to cry.

Neha, realizing what she said and who she said it to: “OMG! Owen, I am SO sorry.”

Owen runs away crying.

Neha calling out to him: “It was a force of habit!”

Alejandro, who was eavesdropping on their conversation. Smiles giddily because Owen is too sad to speak to Neha, which means she would focus her attention on someone else (like Alejandro). Unfortunately for him, Neha spends the rest of the day trying to cheer Owen up and saying she didn’t mean it. The silent treatment does not last long, and Owen forgives Neha.

I love how that's the line, your mama jokes. Cause I feel like those are the kinds of jokes Owen would find funny. Imagine if he was upset about something completely different (or wasn't even upset, he just wanted to come up with a funnier response since his little buddy always has the funny one liners!) but Neha still spends the entire day thinking she just lost her closest friend and doing everything to make it up to him. Even trying to be nicer to people.

Alejandro is the one who eventually solves the whole thing - on complete accident and/or unwillingly- because he wasn't getting any attention from her at all and he can't have her changing her delightful personality, where else is he going to find someone actually enjoyable to talk to?

There was this one ask a while back about assistant fem!Noah and the costumes (I think, the ask kind of disappeared when I went to go find it so I think I accidentally deleted it? This phone is 4 years old tbh and doesn't really like to play nice with me). So here's my take on it.

As the technically resident crossdresser in the cast, she gets the counter to Chef's costumes. So whenever he wears a traditionally feminine costume, she wears a matching traditionally masculine one. And vice versa. Of course, this only happens if she's given the appropriate bribe (books, nap time in an actual comfy place).

If this was part of the assistant au (Hannah Montana style lol) then she wouldn't wear a wig in the masculine ones but Alejandro still puts two and two together about Neha=Noah when she's in one of the costumes. Because he imagined Noah in something similar once and it's near identical because he has key observational skills

I feel like it'd be cool if one of the roti contestants knows the twins and is just really confused about why they're acting weird. Maybe even have history with one/both of them.

Even if they do a reunion like 5 years later or something and Neha and Mahavir swap places again just to add to the confusion. Cause then the contestants are stuck with a Noah who looks vaguely similar but is also way taller and nicer. They probably think that it's a case of the mandela effect and they just remembered it wrong.

Wow, looky here, I've got another femNoah idea. This is mainly another reason/idea on why she would be pretending to be a guy.

Tbh, this applies to all of my stuff but if anyone gets inspo from any of my ideas (like for art, fics etc) then you have my full permission to use them. Though I do want to be tagged, maybe partially credited? Idk.

Anywho, so it wasn't actually Neha who applied but her brother Mahavir. They're either fraternal twins or Irish twins (born nine months apart). Though I'm leaning more towards fraternal. But I do have two different mini 'plots' for both of them.

Irish twins

Mahavir got injured or ill just before going to the island and had to tell the people in charge of the application process that he can't make it. But, because of how close it was to the competition and how the line up had already been established, they were just like, do you know any males your age that would be willing to take your place?

Unfortunately, all of his brothers are years older than him so they can't do it. Instead, he decides to do a little trickery and replies back saying uh, yeah. I have a little... Brother... Whose only 9 and a half years younger than me called.... N-Noah. Yeah, Noah. Would that work?

Of course, he didn't tell Neha this until it's already been established that she's taking his place as a 'he' which she is so not happy about.

He totally owes her one after that shit show.

Fraternal twins

Mahavir's full name is Noah Mahavir Devi. Basically, their parents thought it would be funny to name the twins very similar names. Neha's is Neha Michal Devi. However due to a lot of confusion when they were younger, Mahavir goes by Mahavir and Neha by Neha.

In this one, after Mahavir gets injured/ill they decide to not tell any of the people from TD about it. Instead, Mahavir manages to beg convince Neha to join very much against her will. She only agreed because he brought up how she owed him after the incident.

So, Neha pretends to be her twin brother, bear in mind they are not identical. At all. They only manage to get away with it due to the bad quality of camera they used for the audition tape.

Like, he's the tallest in the family, she's the shortest. She has a more masculine facial structure, he has a more feminine one. She had longer hair, he has shorter. Basically, they're like ying and Yang?

He's more emotive whereas she's more monotone unless caught off guard. He might not be as intelligent as she is (still relatively smart) but she's nowhere near his physical abilities. They essentially divide and conquer everything they do with both of them being cunning little shits. They especially like to give people whiplash. He's tall so people think he's intimidating while he acts friendly. She's short and physically weak but will immediately give a verbal lashing to the closest person. So they tend to good cop bad cop people to get what they want.

They take turns on who's 'in charge' and who's 'supporting' based on whose skills the situation suits best. Like as president and vice president of their school.

Idk, I just feel like it could be a funny idea. Like, maybe there's another season where they work in pairs (like in RR but with the OG cast, maybe even including the roti one so that there's an odd number) or just the normal 2/3 teams and Mahavir manages to convince his way on so the two can work together.

I love that all of team E-scope's (+Owen) patronus are all some kind of bear in a way, especially since patronuses are linked to happy memories and emotional connections.

But, also consider-

Team E-scope all becoming anamaigus out of boredom. (It was Izzy's idea). This is mainly so they can safely venture into the forbidden forest to explore. Unfortunately, Owen doesn't know about this since he can't keep a secret for the life of him but the three do keep a look out for him when they're in their animal forms. Neha- cat. Eva- honey badger. Izzy- weasel. All three of them also get carried by him at some point- as well as DJ.

Obviously, the anamaigus form can't change but the patronus can, hence the bear theme.

I would also like to suggest that the brother who José fights with the most has a mongoose patronus :)

The Devi's being poor by choice. Like, they could be spending money left and right but all of them are super miserly. It's those spending habits (hand-me-downs, second hand, always looking for deals and bartering) that make people think they're poor. They just really, really don't like spending more money then absolutely necessary. It's because of this that Amrita is on really good terms with the goblins.

Owen just basically imprinting on the first person who wasn't mean (in the same way as everyone else at least) is so sweet though. They would totally look after each other. Maybe José says some stuff about Owen and immediately gets hexed. There's no solid proof on who done it- but José is almost certain it was her. Or Duncan/Justin says something about Neha and Owen's giving them that disappointed look.

Alejandro would also totally have an eel annimagus as well. He keeps on having to buy more wands.

Izzy being a minor Metamorphmagus

Lindsay and Tyler's (a German shepherd) patronuses eventually swapping.

Alejandro getting accidentally dragged into one of team E-scope's adventures through detention which definitely wasn't life threatening in any way, shape, or form.

In fact, Eva, Izzy and Neha constantly finding themselves in life threatening situations and just not telling anyone. Like, it gets dealt with and no one finds out (until they do).

Courtney having a study group with some of the ravenclaws after getting fed up with those in her own house.

Emma being in ravenclaw and Kitty (eventually) in gryffindor. Neha just imprinting on Emma, and people (Alejandro) thinking they're in a relationship. They're just really good and supportive friends that just so happen to be physically affectionate when comfortable with people.

Zeke sometimes sneaking into classes to learn theory since he thinks it's super cool! He also totally helps with the Hufflepuffs' homeworks

I suppose the real question is, do they just get to go about their day to day lives at wawanakwa-hogwarts (Chris swears up and down that the name was original) enjoying their magical life, or is there some kind of underlying plot?

Harry Potter/Hogwarts AU:

Team Chris:

Neha is sorted into Ravenclaw and a Hatstall. It took the Sorting Hat 7 minutes to decide if she was a Ravenclaw or a Slytherin, but Alejandro was sorted before Neha, and she did not want to be in the same house as him. Neha disliked Alejandro the minute he opened his mouth, and Alejandro disliked her back for calling him an eel right to his face. Neha comes from a half-blood family, and her brothers also attended Hogwarts (perhaps one of them is still attending the school).

Owen is sorted into Hufflepuff and is a Muggle born wizard.

Izzy, Tyler and Eva are all sorted into Gryffindor and are all Muggle born witches and wizards.

Sierra is a Muggle born witch who was already obsessed with magic (and Cody) at a young age. I am not quite certain what House she would be sorted into, more than likely the same House as Cody.

Alejandro and Duncan (who is a half-blood wizard) are both sorted into Slytherin. The Burromuertos are an influential pure-blood family and are usually sorted into Slytherin. Alejandro tries helplessly to make Neha interact with him more so she can spend less time with her uncouth friends. José is in his last year of Hogwarts, and Alejandro can't wait for him to graduate. Spoiler alert: Guess what Alejandro's Patronus is?

Team Amazon:

Heather and Courtney are both sorted into Slytherin and are pureblood witches. While Cody, who is a Muggle, was sorted into Hufflepuff and Gwen, who is half blood witch, was sorted into Ravenclaw.

Team Victory:

All the members of Team Victory were sorted into Hufflepuff, except for Harold, who was sorted into Ravenclaw, and Leshawna, who was sorted into Gryffindor. They either come from half-blood families or are muggles.

And Chris McLean can be the headmaster of Hogwarts.

I'm gonna screw with the ages of Neha's brothers here, but imagine them all being in Hogwarts and competing over who will get her in their house.... Which means that when the ones in Slytherin find out that Alejandro caused them to lose.... Uh, yeah.

I can also totally imagine none of them sitting at their assigned tables. Maybe for the first meal but after that- utter bedlam.

And like, imagine the Devi siblings just know the passwords for all of the houses, just so they can pester each other. And prank each other.

José having a rivalry with one of the brothers over Slytherin politics. Alejandro getting hero worship because he just put José in his place and didn't get hexed???

And Sierra would totally follow Cody into Hufflepuff. Quite a show of loyalty....

Once again, another fem!Noah au

Okay, so, this is an idea I've actually had since almost the beginning, I had actually started writing it as a one shot romance ad first but then the idea kind of evolved so...

Basically, I saw all those posts/fics about the Alenoah assistant Noah looking after drama machine Alejandro so I was like, why not take it a step further and add a twist to it- a supernatural/mythological one. And more of Chris being his usual asshole self.

Then I also thought about how funny it would be if Neha/Noah not only had to look after the drama machine, but also a feral Ezekiel. Hence the idea evolving.

Now then, way back in world tour, only three people were originally aware of the existence of supernatural entities: Chris, Neha, and Alejandro. So no one else in the cast is aware or becomes aware. Except for Zeke. Though I am in split minds about Chef.

Ezekiel

In London, when Owen threw the corgis at him he got bit by one. As it turns out, that one wasn't actually a real corgi but a feral werewolf.

Now, werewolves do typically take the form of wolves, but like how some wolves were adapted into dogs, so were some werewolves.

Usually, the werewolf would undergo the transformation outside under the full moon. However, in Ezekiel's case, he was trapped in the cargo hold the entire time, not being able to transform properly. So his wolf brain is trapped in his human body.

Like in canon, feral Zeke does NOT like Chris one bit. He's also really snappy with the interns so Chris just decides to hand him off to Neha to deal with and 'train'.

Alejandro

He's from a family of sirens (it'd be genuinely funny if he was part eel or even better, a completely different type of fish and was offended by being compared to an eel of all things), hence the allure and inhuman capabilities.

So when he gets trampled on and burned by lava, he is still alive but severely wounded. He definitely feels petty towards everyone involved. Heather, Chris, the interns, some of the cast members he can remember.

To avoid lawsuits Chris just shoves him in the drama machine to survive. Obviously, the treatment is inhumane as he's essentially stuck in a small container for months on end. Neha also ends up in charge of maintenance for 'the robot'.

The worst part about it is that he has accelerated healing in the presence of saltwater and is suffering just by the lack of it. His limbs are basically paralysed and there's not much he can physically do.

Neha

She's a selkie. Now, a whole part of the folklore around selkies is beautiful women captivating men who then steal their pelts to force them to marry them (a selkie's pelt is essentially a part of their soul, to control the pelt is to control the selkie's soul and what they can and can't do). That's the reason she dresses up as 'Noah'. To try and hinder the 'allure' (which she despises) and to distance the idea of stealing her pelt. Mainly cause if anyone discovers 'Noah' is a selkie well..... male selkies have a different reputation attached to them.

Of course, this does not work out for her at all. After her elimination in island, Chris somehow gets his hands on her pelt. But instead of the whole marriage thing, he realises that it's a selkie's coat and immediately thinks- free labour.

A worker he doesn't have to pay, doesn't need to lock in a contract, can be the perfect employee and can't physically disobey him? It's so efficient!

Of course, he orders her to not look for her pelt, be quiet about the whole thing and limits what she can do to help the other two.... So she just becomes sneaky about it.

Plot

Basically they're working towards four main goals before All Stars starts up.

Helping Zeke with his werewolfness- getting him to transform, bringing his human mind back to the forefront and teaching him balance between the two.

Getting Alejandro healed up- finding access to saltwater, an appropriate diet and planning ways to get him moving all while not being able to get him out of the machine.

Finding Neha's pelt- since she can't look for it on her own. She can't even tell them about it outright, it takes a lot of not-so-subtle-hints until Alejandro catches on to what she's getting at.

Escaping before Chris finds out- made much harder by the fact that all three of them are limited in what they can currently do.

Of course, it's an Alenoah au.

To a random fluffy animal that definitely hasn't almost mauled someone: who's a little baby, who's a total sweetheart, you are, yes you are~

This is why I totally believe that people are missing out on the Alenoah werewolf dynamic.

Alejandro being very confused by the mixed signals. Especially since people tend to react the complete opposite way, scared or hating his wolf form but obsessing and falling over his human one.

I actually have a draft about this somewhere about a crack team E-scope witch au for world tour where there are several chapters called Eva Vs Mr eel. It probably won't be posted for a looooooong time tho.
