The distress of waking up in a time you don’t know, with people you’ve never met, faraway from home, and your last memory being your body burning because of You and plunging into water. The horror of returning to a home after having all these changes forced upon you, in a skin that isn’t fully yours, only to find that the pain you escaped from is still there, that this traumatic metamorphosis you had no control over, no say in, was for nothing cause you were forgotten. And everything you were trying to defy is suddenly true.

Something something something going through a brutal change and feeling out of place in not only your world but your own body. Committing yourself, this you you’re unfamiliar with, to bringing a warmth, a blaze by your own hands, that no one can escape from. Not even you.
