Blue Changes
We had a fun little challenge, we picked a prompt and had 3, 15 minute sprints to write something for the prompt. Then 24 hours for light editing to finish sentences if needed, grammar etc. This is my take on the the prompt "Has anyone ever told you just how adorable you are Because you really are." Dedicated to @verfound đ§Ą
âMarinette, where is my favorite designer at?!â Jagged burst into the studio, Fang trotting happily next to him on her leash and Penny multitasking between her phone call and tablet. Technically he was supposed to be on a plane to New York, but decided to swing by Paris on his way because he had an idea that just could not wait and wanted to check on his unofficial niece anyways. There was only one speed bump in that plan, the studio was completely empty. The chaos of fabric strewn about and pieces half cut with scissors still mid snip definitely screamed someone was working hard or trying to at least, the mannequin with a half-pinned design and ripped fabric seemed to lean toward the latter.
âLooks like sheâs not here⊠Must be taking a break. Penny, why donât we order from my favorite bakery and make sure something extra special for Marinette. Iâm glad we came here before the next stop on tour.â Jagged poked around at the sketches laying in abandon on the desk, some half crumbled on the floor and more stacked on a sketchbook.
âSeems like she is having some massive creators block⊠We should treat her when we have a break on the tour.â Penny suggested, already on the phone with Tom and trying to insist they would pay for their order.
Some of the sketches were brilliant but had marks of black throughout them, others were completely marked out and you could not even tell what the design was to start with. It hurt to physically see what pain Marinette was going through, most of the ones with the darker markings were of the same style. He could clearly see the thought of Adrien in the suits and matching dresses for Marinette, the anger of the marks showing something had happened or changed. Sighing heavily, Jagged gathered the papers, Fang batting the ones further away with her tail over to her owner. One paper had him blinking in surprise.
âPenn! Pen! Lookie here! D'ya see this?!â jagged shouted, shoving the paper into his assistantâs face, not even minding when she sighed and pushed it to a proper distance. It was a one-of-kind leather jacket and a custom hoodie drawn to match it. Either could be worn seperate or paired together. The colors were a contrast of electric blue and smokey turquoise, the theme was music and snake. Jagged recognized it as a rough sketch due to the lack of color or material notes along the edge that appeared on her finished drafts.
âWhy was this crumpled up? Itâs a really great idea!â Penny wondered aloud, noticing that the eccentric rockstar she commonly felt like she had to babysit was scheming. âJagged no, whatever is it the answer is no.â
The door opened and in walked the designer they were looking for, Marinette seemed stressed and a bit run down. Her hair was thrown into a messy bun, one sleeve was pushed higher than the other and her shirt was wrinkled where it was tucked into her pencil skirt. Flip flops clacked along with her steps, another sign she was worn out if the basic shoe was more preferred to her custom made and very comfortable flats. An energy drink dangled from one hand and her design tablet occupied the other. Both guests watched as she made it all the way to her desk without noticing they were there.
âI have no idea what I'm going to do! I don't have anyone that fits that one or the orange one⊠I could make it a dress but who would wear it?! Ugh! Iâm going to fail at this rate and then I won't graduate and I'll never design again, who would want something made by a failure-â Fang chose that moment to nudge her head onto the petite womanâs lap, startling her so bad she screamed and fell out of her chair.
âWell I reckon that I would love to have exclusive rights to all designs made by my favorite niece but we all know thatâs not fair to the rest of the world. Now I know you are in a pinch and youâre stuck like a boat in the desert, so youâre going to take a break, spend some time with uncle Jay and make sure that you show poor Fang some love, she was all excited and you just screamed right in her poor face. Câmere my poor baby, Marinette is so mean I know.â Jagged showed the croc in love through pets and scratches.Â
âWhen.. How, why?â Poor Marinette was lost and couldn't believe the rockstar was in her studio when he should've been halfway around the world for the next stop on his tour.Â
âOkay, the only thing weâre doing right now is leaving all this behind for a much needed break for food and maybe a nap in your case. Time to relax and stop stressing for a minute." Penny authoritatively stepped in, stacking the papers on the desk, handing Marinette her purse and phone and with the help of Fang scooted the younger woman out the door.
Marinette protested "Wait I need to finish, it has to be done! I can't take a break, I just did!"
"Negative, now it's time for chow, and you need a shower, at your parents then we need to have a little chat. Ladies first!" Jagged gently shoved the designer into the car with cheer, allowing Fang and Penny to enter before him.Â
"So my little brilliant niece, we have some great news and a rock and roll deal for you! Can't tell you what is until after you've taken a break though." They grinned as Marinette grumbles as she gave fang the attention she wanted until they pulled up to the bakery.
Getting out of the car first, Marinette sighed at the smell of her parents baking, the smell melting off some stress like butter melting on a fresh from the oven croissant roll. Her stomach grumbled and she opened the door for the other guests, sneaking an excited Fang upstairs to not scare the other customers. Deciding to take a refreshing shower, Marinette went to her bathroom and put on some zen meditation music before getting in the shower. Quick ten minutes later and she was feeling much more alive and hungry. On a whim she grabbed a random outfit that she had made but never worn, pleated plaid skirt with a red checker pattern offset by the off the shoulder fitted top in a burgundy color, and threw it on before joining her guests.Â
"Oi looking good! One of yours?" Jagged shouted with his mouth full, causing Penny to smack his arm as a reminder to use manners.Â
"Sure is! Never worn it before but decided change can be a good thing and sometimes you have to start the change instead of waiting for it to happen." Grabbing her favorite pastry and a croissant because you can't just smell one and not eat it, she missed the concerned look her adopted guardians shared.
"So your studio was, well, you seem to be having a hard time." Pen tried to be gentle but made a face at her words.
"Yeah⊠Life is⊠Changing." Marinette mused, picking at the pastry.
"Marinette, what can Uncle Jay do to help?" Jagged's serious tone drew her gaze and his heart broke at the sight of unshed tears.
"I uhm well. I- That is, we-" With a huff, she calmed down and a look of determination shone on her face. "Adrien asked me out, on a date date in this really elaborate way. I turned him down. I have no idea what I was thinking but when he asked me I was so happy and then all I could think of was blue and how soft its is and it can be so calm or so chaotic and itâs always changing like the ocean but yet it's always the same and there this feeling of calm and I just couldn't say yes."
The quiet settled into a slightly awkward silence, Marinette was ignoring it and Penny was having nonverbal argument with Jagged on what to say next. With an eye roll that spoke louder than her shouting at him, the assistant took the lead once more. Quietly she rose from the chair she was occupying and sat next to the young designer smoothing out the crumpled sketch she had taken from the studio.
"Is this the blue you're talking about?"Â
"Yeah⊠Thatâs my blue." A gentle smile touched peach lips briefly, blue eyes going soft.
"Is this the skater kid?"
"Skater kid?" Marinette blinked in confusion.
"Nah Pen it's the boat kid."
"He has a name you guys!" Marinette broke down into giggles, looking much more like herself and less like a zombie just waltzing around and going through the motions. "His name is Luka, yes the one who went me skating with Adrien and Kagami, yes the boat kid who has a heart way too big for just his mom and sister. And now meâŠ"
"Sounds like you made a change?" Penny prompted smiling widely.
"A blue one yeah, I did."
"Has anyone ever told you just how adorable you are?" Jagged shouted, picking up the younger woman and swinging her around as she shrieked.Â
"Okay Jagged, let's not take over her whole day. We did have a reason to show up here after all." Penny handed the tablet to Marinette after he relinquished his hold. "This is what we're looking at for a surprise concert once we are back here in Paris. There's some issues I'm ironing out but I wanted to see what you think and if you would take lead on the design aspect."
"Wait, lead designer for your show?" Blue bell eyes swiveled between ocean blue and hazel sets, wide with disbelief and building excitement.
"Yup, this tablet is yours by the way. I do ask you to keep just business on it for the show, if you want more traditional sketches that's fine but once it's done it needs to be uploaded on here." Jagged explained, clapping a red clad shoulder.
"Oh you need an opening act? I've got that covered." The sparkle was finally back in her eye to match the mischievous grin.
"I agree with Jagged, are you sure no one has said it before because you really are adorable."

Sprint Challenge 2 - Colorwheel
The silence echoed in the room, Marinette and Adrien were glaring at each other, a battle of wills making the silence oppressive and settled like a heavy weight on the other occupants of the room. Juleka never glanced up from her phone, Rose watched the heated debate-turned-argument unfold and Nino was fighting to keep Alix from adding fuel to the fire. Dingo had just left to pick up Luka and the rest of Kitty Section from the repair shop.
âYou are unbelievable, seriously Adrien!â
âHow did they even get into this argument again?âÂ
"No Idea I place my bets on Marinette.â Juleka murmured, eyes flicking to the arguing pair and back to her phone.
âNot even your own brother? So does that mean that you are going to bet Against me?â Alix chimed in, somehow holding resigned Nino in a headlock.
âLeave them alone dude, they will figure it out when they stop listening to respond and listen to talk.â
âWould you just stop being stubborn-â
âMe?! Pot meet kettle, you stop being stubborn!â
âHey does anybody know what started all this like they seem that they might try to kill each otherâŠâ Rose cut in, concern growing as the quarrel was getting louder and louder.Â

Skype Dates
Marinette was trying to ignore the giggling from her speakers as she finished her sketch. The weekly Skype call with all the gal pals was going great and was like a soothing balm, they were all chasing their dreams and hardly got to meet up in person these days. And Luka as always had to wave to the girls when he was in view of the camera
âCouffaine, do something about him please, the sappy looks are gross.â Chloe wrinkled nose and huffed in mild irritation.
âI donât know what you want me to do about my brotherâŠâ
âI was talking about Marinette.â The response had her sputtering and on reflex froze before she broke her pencil, again.
âLook, Iâm sorry youâre âmoonâ isnât around right now sunshine but that doesnât mean you need to pick on my dork.â
âOh gross.â Juleka groaned, her complaint barely heard over Rose and Alya giggling.
âSleep with one eye open Marinette, one eye open.â Chloe narrowed her eyes and the faint tapping of her nails punctuated her words.
âAlright back to business, I need help with this wedding. I mean who wouldâve thought Nora would be getting married before me!â
âWell slow and steady wins the race and we all know Nino is quite the turtle.â Another round of giggles and scoffs filled the room, a warm but boney chin settled nicely on the curve of her shoulder and an arm found its way around her waist.
âYou should sit down for a bit, youâve been standing for a while.â Lukaâs voice was warm like honeyed tea and caused the same result, her body easing away the tension from this latest commission.
âI will donât worry, almost done here anyways. Manon needs my help with her project and she should be here soon.â
âGood, Iâll hide the breakables.â Luka took off just to do that, leaving Marinette stuck explaining through giggles what was so funny. After properly conveying her explanation, she ended the call with promises to follow up in a couple days as everyones schedule was pretty flexible.
âHave fun?â He inquired as she made her way into the kitchen.
âYes, the girls love how you always say hi.â
âWell I just want them to like me, I know Iâm pretty important to you but they are too. I just wanna show them how much I love you.â
âYou sap.â She pulled his soft smile closer for a kiss or five until the door bell chimed.

WIP Wednesday 2.10.21
(Featuring special guest)

"I think if I don't take this chance, I'm missing out on something big. I could live with myself if I left and came back but I don't know if I could live with myself and wonder what if..." Luka pondered aloud, struggling to find the right words even after Marinette had gotten him to calm down and open up.
"I think thats a good way to look at it. You shouldn't feel selfish or self centered for wanting to follow the path the life pointed out." She mused, frowning slightly at his furrowed brows and lost expression. Maybe it was time for a different approach.
"Yeah but I still am."
"Luka Couffaine, take it from someone who has done both and know that I speak honestly because I trust you to not berate me for it or ever hurt me with this." His attention was back to her and being in the present, good. "I had two chances, different from yours but I had my own. The same thoughts, the feelings, the happiness the sadness, both times. I turned down one opportunity because I thought it wouldn't help me reach my dream faster. The other I accepted and when I look back on the Marinette I was before the trip and the Marinette I became after, I can say I'm happy with my choices."
They sat in a reflective silence for a moment, the designer adding some doodles to the open page of her sketchbook that had been largely ignored until now. A glance revealed the guitarist in thought, his body language more open and relaxed than before.
"Want to know a secret?" Baby blue eyes glanced over and met her own before Luka nodded. "In the moment, I hated it. Absolutely everything about it. The dead lines, the demands, the opportunities that were given away left and right to everyone who wasn't me. I never got given the chance to show my skills or hone them, I was invisible. No one knew who I was and no one cared. Turns out that's exactly what I needed, I needed to be invisible to remind myself what makes me special. Who I really am without a bunch of other peoples influences and that made some people very mad when I got back. I realized that's their problem and not mine."
"That sounds like a nightmare."
"How can we appreciate rainbows without storms? Everyone will you and you will miss them but it can be worth so much more. I know you'll make the right choice for you Luka, like you always do. And when you need reminded, call me and I'll give it to you straight."
"I think besides my mom and my sister it hink I'm going to miss you the most."
"And if I call and send letters and messages and videos every single day will that help?"
Marinette watched Luka pause and process her words slowly, the confusion swept away by the surprise and oh, there was the fragile love she wanted to nurture. He was staring in shock, completely frozen so the designer made another move.
"You know, thats what couples do... Unless I'm too late?"
"You would never be too late, never ever you Marinette."

Home Is where You Are
Sprint Challenge, Secret Santa style! This is for @nottesilhouette, this is cross posted on AO3 as most my stories are for viewing ease! Â
Three 15-minute sprints and 24 hours to polish it off. Prompt was âDomestic Fluff (âYou gave me the world in my palms and none of it was as beautiful as coming home to you.â)âÂ
The success of the Kitty Section tour was well above anything any of its members predicted and honestly, they were tired and ready to go home, wherever that was for them these days. Luka knew Rose and Juleka were going to touch base with the siblingâs mother, she had taken to being free and sailed around quite frequently. It was a normal occurrence if they saw the Liberty in all her glory when they had a show close to any water that was deep enough for the houseboat. Â

For the Lukanette Endgame Dialogue Prompts 24: âOh. Didâdid I say that out loud?â đ„°
Here it is! Also on AO3 for viewing pleasure!
Coffee For the Bold -Â https://archiveofourown.org/works/27492520
Luka could tell coffee would be his best friend today. Band practice had run late and his muse was being a downright attention whore by taking up all of his free time, even cutting into his already jacked up sleep schedule. Deciding a quick detour was much needed, he continued his original path to the school where Juleka was with their bandmates, her notebook in hand. This was supposed to be a practice where he could sleep in but since he was up, he was so taking advantage of the bakery across the street. They recently started selling coffee and he was dying enough to succumb to caffeine.
The bell jingled happily upon opening the door and a cheerful "Welcome, be with you in a moment!" floated through the cozy atmosphere. Moving to the display case he browsed the baked goods and noted some new items and flavors, interested in trying the mystery flavor. He was debating on whether or not he was nice enough to grab his sister anything when the same cheerful distracted him from the display again.
âHello there! Welcome to T&S, home of the best macaroons! We have a sale, buy two and get one free! What would you like to try?â
âCoffee, biggest you have.â
âSure thing! Any pastries to go with it?â
âNah youâre sweet enough for me.â Lukaâs brain suddenly was wide awake and he could feel the blush creeping up his neck as the young woman jerked in surprise and spilled the coffee beans. âI uh I didnât mean that, okay I did but I also didnât like, mean to say that out loud and please donât be offended or hate me- shutting up now.â
âAh, well I mean⊠Your whole look is cute and how you uh dropped that line wasnât bad, unexpected maybe but not bad. Although shouldnât you ask my name at least?â
âI uh yeah. So my name is Luka and I have no filter when Iâm this tired but I am a gentleman normally.â He tried for an easy going smile and felt he halfway succeeded. Â
âThatâs not- you didnât, I mean!â Pink lips became a distraction as she rolled them inward to bite back the words for a moment, taking a deep breath to try again. âYou still didnât ask me so now you have to guess it.â
âCan I get a hint at least?â the musician tried, finding it easier to smile suddenly.
âHow about a letter every time you stop by? First one is M and your total today sir Luka is $13.72.â
Her smile caused her eyes to light up and inspiration to create an itch beneath his skin he almost couldn't ignore. Paying with a tip and cheeky wink, Luka almost couldn't get away fast enough. The melody was building and falling, notes blending together and shifting around to bring the sound invading his mind to life. It wasn't perfect and he definitely would have to go back but Luka was looking forward to it.

Goats Gone Wild
The rehearsals went perfectly, despite everyone saying that it might fall apart and completely spiral out of control and that would to be expected as it was rehearsal and gave them time to fix it. The flower arrangements were gorgeous, Jagged cried when he saw his official wedding suit and Penny had successfully been conned into taking an actual spa day to relax and have a great time with the ladies in her wedding party.Â
Tom and Sabine were of course on cake duty in providing other food and refreshments for the big day. With them in charge no one was concerned that the seasoned caterers would have any trouble. The tables and chairs were tastefully decorated and with just enough ârock nâ rollâ vibe for Jagged to not complain too much because Jagged always be Jagged.
Of course, for the power duo of the music world, fate may have approved for them to meet, fall in love and live long enough to plan the wedding but it didnât have to be nice all the time. A small mishap and the power was out most of the night, delaying everything from food to simply getting ready for most of the practical preparations.Â
Marinette was running on no sleep, no faith and after the power outage, no coffee. Everyone had their wedding clothes and the weather predicting rain at some point made it seem like a tiny accomplishment. Those who had cars to drive would be fine and most could take extra passengers but it would take some people two trips. She had spoken to her Maman and Papa already, they had put the cake in the deep freeze plus had a gas/solar powered generator to offer a space for others in the wedding party.
She still had no idea who would be escorting her down the aisle to fulfill her Maiden of Honor duty, there wasnât time to meet him now because they were sorely behind schedule. Pushing the thought to the side, Marinette slipped into a chic dress but not the one for the ceremony. That was safely at the venue they had booked just in case they needed a place to relocate. Sending up a quick prayer and a threat that this would be a memorable day, Marinette grabbed her clutch and left her apartment.
Marinette could distantly hear her phone ringing even though it was right besides her. She had yet to exit the safety of her car as she watched the chaos unfold. There was a small zoo of animals running around and Jagged was riding a llama, Fang happily scaring the poor creature. Nimbly she picked up her still ringing phone and answered it.

Lukanette 2020 Exchange piece For @the-alice-of-hearts, enjoy!Â
Marinette was on a mission, step outside of her comfort zone and again echoed by her technical design professor to be more daring and assertive and bold. She needed to round out her styles and portfolio as much as she could to make herself a more attractive candidate for any applications she submitted or even just expanding her online commissions and bulking her portfolio that way if she chose to start out on her own. It was difficult to just be set in one style and make it big when just starting. Mari figured that she would explore as much as she could before committing to one genre or style, it would keep her far from being burnt out like some of her fellow classmates.
âHey Nathaniel! Have you seen Juleka?â She called out, walking a bit faster to the redhead who waited for her to join him.
âShe was around this morning but I havenât seen her since. Have you tried calling or texting her?â
âYup, nothing but silence though. Iâm out of touch with everyoneâs schedules the more time goes by.â
âIs she complaining she canât be super Mari and be our everyday ladybug again?â Marc teased, sneaking up and poking the shorter girlâs sides resulting in a squeal.

Mark of the Butterfly
I have a soft spot for Marc being the true Butterfly holder and another for Nooroo getting the love and care that little beautiful creature deserves! Slightly angsty but its mostly good feels and bonds being strengthened. also on AO3
It was over. The loud sound of the sirens and screaming of Gabriel was completely drowned out by the beating of her heart, adrenaline still flowing through her body. Marientte hugged a newly revealed Adrien closer as he slipped into shock, the reality of his fatherâs actions finally sinking in. All this time and all the terror, sleep deprivation, injuries, property damage and emotional strain just so he could have a shot at a pipe-dream to revive Emilie⊠It was finally over.
âGabriel Agreste, your reign of terror is over. Your control of Paris and itâs peopleâs emotions is no more. Most importantly, your time as the holder of the butterfly miraculous and torturer of Nooroo is done.â Ladybug cradled the butterfly miraculous gently and steered Chat Noir away from the still raving former designer. Tossing her yo-yo and latching onto a building, the din of reporters firing questions and screaming for answers went ignored as she took her partner to her safe apartment where the rest of the miraculous holders were waiting.
âHeâs in shock and Plagg needs a break at least, if he wants to suit up again then he can after Plagg eats.â Max jumped into action and grabbed Adrienâs favorite blanket to wrap around him, a flash of green came from under it.
âThereâs tea and all kwami related snacks in the kitchen, even some Marinette favorites.â Luka murmured, taking a quick moment to hug his girlfriend and by extension Adrien who had yet to let go of Ladybug.
âLet Tikki rest too Nette, you know she loves group hugs like this too.â Nino joined in, bringing Alya and everyone one else followed to create a giant group hug.
âSpots off.â Marientte whispered and felt the tears start. âIâm so sorry chaton, I never wanted to be right about him being Hawkmoth. Iâm sorry you had to go through all of that, and more Iâm sure you never told me about. I failed you and Iâm sorry.â
âMilady, you didnât fail me.â Adrien whispered, still not moving his face from her shoulder. âNot as Ladybug and not as Marinette. You were always there from the beginning. I love you but you know that already.â
Luka raised a brow to Sass, who mimicked the expression as he held Tikki and Plagg closely.Â
âAnd I love you too chaton. We will always be partners, we were destined to be in each otherâs lives. Donât forget that you have everyone else here for you too.â
âI knowâŠâ She could hear the smile breaking through and felt one on her own face. âI was thinking of asking my girlfriend to come with me on a trip and maybe my best friend who happens to be an awesome superhero if her and her boyfriend would like to go.â
âDude! Totally knocked out by the superbug?!â Nino complained, causing laughter to spread through the solemn atmosphere. âI get it though she is pretty awesome.â
âWell you got the pretty part of that right.â Luka smirked as the blush forming on pale cheeks.
âSheâs always been awesome, just a little preoccupied you could say.â Alya teased.
âPreoccupied enough to walk into doors and walls.â Alix chimed in, now sitting on the couch.
âOr tripping up the stairs.â Juleka muttered.Â
âOne time! One time!â Marientte whined embarrassed but smiling as she felt Adrien chuckling. âAnd i think best friend is a pretty big spot for me to fillâŠâ
âNino is my bro, I am unofficially a Lahiffe. I donât want anything to do with being an Agreste anymore."Â
"Adrien, I understand that you donât want the connection to Gabriel and his nonsense but donât just give up your connection to your mom either. She loved him before he became the Gabriel of today and you know her better than anyone. â Tikki flew in, wiping away the tears that spring forth from her words. âWhy not step away from the bad stuff but keep the good?â
âHow do I do that?â The blonde miraculous holder finally raised his head and stared at the Tikki with such heartbreak in his eyes.
âI donât know, do you Luka?â She smiled mischievously.
âWhat are you talking about?â The guitarist was confused and looked at his girlfriend who was slowly turning into a tomato. âI missed something?â
âOh my god Tikki! Do you really have to bring that up now? I like only freaking out for a day- okay okay like a week which considering wasnât all that bad but this really isnât the time!â Marientte babbled and then realized what her kwami was actually talking about. âAdrien⊠Thatâs it!â
âI donât follow bugaboo.â
âInstead of Adrien Agreste, follow your mother- okay not really because youâd be changing your name and she didnât but you could become Adrien Graham De Vanilly. Oh itâs perfect!â She hugged the surprised boy to her tightly and bounced in place, causing those left in the group hug to laugh and step back a bit.
âI mean youâre always a Lahiffe bro but youâre pretty awesome as you.â
âGuys, I donât-â Adrien broke into happy tears, launching himself at Nino and pulling in Tiki for a forehead kiss, irritating Plagg who stole her back with a playful hiss.
âI think weâre going to be just fine⊠Just one last thing to do.â Marientte leaned into Lukaâs side fully, letting everyone party for the moment before she would have to collect the miraculousâ and let them visit with their newly reclaimed lost brother.
âI see your thinking face and I trust whatever you decide next Songbird.â Luka whispered, sneaking a kiss when his sister wasnât looking because she was looking to get revenge.
Ladybug loved the feeling of flying through the air and running across the many roofs of her city. It was a freedom she loved and willingly shared with the other heros even if they could not keep their miraculous full time like she could being the Guardian. For a long time she had worried and thought until she was dizzy about the end of this fight and what would happen after. More importantly who would be best for poor Nooroo as Duusu would need a long time to recover and special help before the peacock would be ready for use again. Seeing her target clad in red made her smile and Ladybug swooped down, startling the boy.
âMarc Anciel, I have a very special request for you. Should you accept, I have a very special friend who needs someone like you.â
âWait, the fight is over, are you giving me a miraculous?â Marc squeaked, green eyes as wide as dinner plates.
âThis miraculous is quite different you see, this is the butterfly miraculous that was misused by Hawkmoth and the kwami Nooroo wasnât treated well. I was hoping you would accept and become the true butterfly holder to inspire and help sort through the crazy amount of emotions that everyone will be feeling now that the reign of terror is over. To do good and spread love.â Ladybug waited, watching the emotions flash across his face and pulled out the miracle box she had been saving for this moment.
âI accept.â Marc smiled and opened the box, flinching slightly from the bright light. A butterfly kwami shook a bit as he opened his eyes and looked at his new holder, awe slowly shining through his countenance.
âNooroo, this is Marc and I think youâll be in very good hands from now on. There is still much to fix and balance but for now I want you to take some time to spend with each other.â
âOh Guardian Ladybug he is truly inspiring!â Nooroo flew close and stared deeply into frozen green eyes. âSuch a beautiful and gentle soul to have been through so much and still so very strongâŠâ
âWell if I can do it, so can you- Nooroo? Right?â
âYes Mas- I mean Marc. Itâs very nice to meet you.â The kwami settled in his shoulder and seemed to glow with happiness.
âWhat is your favorite food? I was just going shopping for some stuff."Â
"Oh I love cinnamon rolls!â
âOh I almost forgot, here!â Ladybug handed the new holder a coupon for free cinnamon rolls at the one and only Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie. âBug out!â She winked and threw her yo-yo to head home.
âThank you Marinette.â
âSo now we get to adjust to actually finishing dates and having to come up with actual excuses and finding things to do when bored.â Luka mused aloud, making Marientte giggle from her place tucked into his side. âOnly good things from here.â
âWell emotional aftermath and work through a lot of issues but with Marc and Nooroo I think things will be on the right path. I think Adrien needs to visit him eventually once he gets more settled.â
âSpeaking of Adrien, I hear he is going through with the name change and the courts are having a tough time with the company in shambles.â
âIâm out of a job at the moment, debating if I should wait for the reboot or move to another design house.â
âI think MDCC has a nice ring for a new design house, to avoid confusion could just keep MDC.â
âLuka! It was just something you said and I was sleep deprived and you know how my mind is. I wonât freak out again unless it happens.â
âAnd how long did you calculate for that possibility miss planner extraordinaire?â
âLuka!â
âI just want to know my time limitâŠâ
âShut up and kiss me.â

WIP Wednesday!
Another slice of Lukanette (i write other fandoms I promise, im just struggling to start all those fics over since I lost my spare hard drive and didn't have it back up like normal. >.<)
"Gee, thanks for the art lesson that I didn't know I needed being a fashion designer I really should take some more art classes. What are you really here for?" Sky blue eyes squinted from behind flawless lasses and above a frown that was sure to leave wrinkles she scowled too much more.
"Well, thats for me to know and you to find out. I do not appreciate how you treat others and while I admire and look up to your fearless confidence and solid determination, I feel I have reached my potential for personal growth here."

Healing the Magic
For @bloody-no-kissu happy belated birthday!
-start-
âWell hello there, snifferâs no good upwind.â Luka kept his relaxed posture, no need to scare the young woman, especially when he had no way of knowing what she was capable of. "Rest easy lass, just a wee break for the legs before finishing my journey. Beautiful women are welcome to the river beside me, I don't bite."
Marinette snorted and moved closer, much more at ease with the werewolf as he was coherent. Carefully she scooped some water from the flow of the river with a chipped bowl and carefully filled her canteen. Silently she thanked the river spirits that this one was untainted by the illness that was flooding the capital. Once her canteen was full, she filled a few vials and other potion bottles. She would need moon water but that was harder to come by, unlessâŠ
"Pray tell furry friend," she smiled at the eye roll and continued, "if I were to say leave a basin to be touched by Sister Moon would you place a watchful eye and help me to gather pure water from a full and a new moon?"
"Moon water aye?" Blue eyes narrowed in consideration and a healthy dose of wariness. "And what would a young lass such as yourself need any type of moon water for?"
"I come from the Agreste ranch, rescued as a healer for the ailing late Madame Emilie Agreste. Since her passing and resting of her soul, I have been helping to use my skills for those in the nearby town, most wounds heal best under a full moon. Other times I must raise defense for myself against those who wish to harm a skilled healer such as myself. I understand if you cannot help." Marinette simply returned to drinking fresh water from the river and making sure she had collected enough for her next round of potions.
"Lilly wheat grows yonder the hill to the west, right along the tree line. It can be tricking to navigate, I swear to watch yer things should you need to gather it."
Surprise covered her features, it was exactly what she was looking for and made her rethink this werewolf and wonder, how did he recognize the potion? "Many thanks, should you need flea repellent, there is thistle burn about two miles east of here."
"Ah the smell would be unmistakable." Nodding his shaggy head in thanks and reclined on the other bank, he seemed to be done with conversation.
"I'll take you up on your kind offer stranger, I'll be swift." Marinette heard the snort but paid it no mind as she gathered her dagger, amulet and her bag for the herbs she had collected. Swapping the jars of water for a few empty ones, she made her way to the west. Humming some disguised spells, Marinette committed the path to memory and found a few alternate routes for future trips. Sure enough she spotted lilly wheat from its lavender and pale blue coloring, it was a hybrid lookalike of wheat and blue bell flowers. Gathering as much as she could to fill the jars to the max and even stuffed her apron pockets to the brim. Making her way back, she heard a few twigs snap and the trees across the river had a slight sway, signalling the werewolf just left.
"Thank you kind wolf!" Upon reaching the middle of the clearing, she noticed both collection jars were missing. Smiling, she made a note to return in a month's time.
________________________________________
The walk helped clear her senses, too much magic and illness in the capitol had clouded Marinette's magical innate ability to sense other beings. Nature was usually at a neutral point unless tainted by those who lived in the area. Out here so far away from anything or even the manor of vampires she cohabitated with was still pure and loved to trade her negative things with a positive rush of natural magic. It was quite a boost and usually she stored it in her crystals, sometimes bringing them with her to recharge if she was able to stay for a long period.
The tree line broke and the sounds of the river filled her ears and the birds sounded louder than before. Marinette basked in the cheer floating in the air and made her way to the natural alter that she frequently used as her desk. Noticing a note hidden under a rock with a gem tied to it. Carefully she pulled the letter free, not wanting to touch the gem in case it was rigged with a spell.
'Hello Witchling,
I trust your fortnight has been fruitful and as you asked, I was indeed able to get both water from the new moon and the full moon. Untouched completely by every element but the collected water and the air itself. The gem is a family heirloom, there is a hidden cave and it shall lead you to it with just a drop of water from the river.
The Big Friendly Wolf'
Giggling to herself, she did as the note bade and with a touch of cursory magic, determined it was harmless. Dipping a finger in the river for a drop of water, Marinette followed the glowing red light to the cave where her collection jars waited for her, completely untouched. Taking care, she poured the water into the marked pots and carefully sealed them for transportation. This would be plenty for what she needed and Marinette made a note to make something for the helpful Were. Leaving the crystal with the note in the cave, she set off to gather the few missing herbs left. It took only a few minutes of scouting when her senses sparked in alarm, there was another magical signature drawing closer and it was unfamiliar. Deciding the risk was worth it, Marinette touched her amulet and teleported back into the agreste stronghold.Â
Dizziness filled her vision for a moment and she steadied herself with a few deep breaths. Looking around her room, she noticed nothing out of order and apart from the usual lingering traces of her magic and of Adrien's, everything was still. Grabbing a couple cookies to help her nausea, Marinette teleported back out of the castle and to the nearby wood. It would make it seem as if she skipped over the mountain and river instead of jumping right through every defense that Gabriel had set. Normally the elder vampire had no qualms with her use of magic but he disapproved of it greatly and even forbade Marinette to teach his son. The magic had chosen the young heir and there was not a thing she could do to stop it but that was a long time before they needed to discuss anything if her luck had anything to do with it, she dearly hoped she would be released from their service before then.
The guard, a quiet man whom Adrien called Gorilla, nodded in greeting and let her pass unharmed. Not many could come and go as they pleased, it was a hard earned honor to be rarely granted. Resuming her humming, her magic reached out and brushed against Adrien's, giving her a clear path to follow. Turning left instead of her normal right, the torches illuminated her way. The only thing King Gabriel requested to be enchanted at all times and now only let Marinette or Felix boost them when the stored magic was running low.
"Oh posh, you know as well as I do your father is hardly that." A foreign voice could be heard as she approached the heir's chambers.Â
"I'm not having this argument again, either you can shut up or I'll have your tongue." Adrien rarely snapped and it caused the witch's curiosity to peak even more. The moment of silence was her best bet, knocking in a familiar pattern and humming a containment spell, Marinette opened the door and slipped inside quickly.
"Oi! You never told me Tikki was here!" The blurry black form was hissing and thrashing in anger, the spell working like a charm.
"Oh you must be Plagg! I thought Mullo said you were a cute cat with a bad attitude?" Marinette wondered aloud, smiling in greeting to the frozen vampire.
"Mullo?! Wait wait wait! You're Marinette!"
Plagg settles into his hybrid form, acid green eyes and fluffy black ears being the first clear features to show. He stepped out of the transformation smoke and his body clad in black robes became solid, a slender tail flicking in excitement behind him.
"Oh no, you talk about me?!" Marinette shrieked in alarm, dropping the bag she had forgotten.
"Hold on, what in the Hell's Fires is going on here?" Adrien cut in, looking at the Demigod and his healer in anger and confusion.
"Oh Adrien, you know my true talents are not in healing so I know the Demigods when I see them. I've always known you're magic kissed like your mother." She smiled guiltily as the shock filled his face.
"Of course we talk about you, there's only one of you even century if we're lucky. A Destined is something to be proud of and you are definitely a very special one too. I'd love to see what kind of chaos we could create." His smile was full of fangs and a mischievous gleam shone from his eyes.
"Maybe one day, especially since I was forbade from teaching any magic and now you're contracted to Adrien." Marinette surmised, it was the only explanation as to why the demigod would actually be there in person.
"Father will never learn to trust me will he?" The blonde sighed deeply, defeat easy to read in his hunched form.Â
"He fears the illness that took your mother will take you as wellâŠ" Marinette hesitated, looking to Plagg for permission to disclose the truth; a move that Adrien noticed and pounced on.
"What are you hiding from me?" He rose from the chair, brow furrowed in anger and stalked towards the shorter woman.
"I cannot say, the King has his ways of forbidding even the most noble of truths." She turned her gaze to the floor in preservation, a vampire's thrall wasn't effective enough to hold her for long but it did cause severe damage.
"He marked you." They had nearly forgotten the demigod was in the same room. "That bastard! Touching a Destined with Darkened Magic is forbidden!"
"I had no idea I was a Destined, my powers never came in until I became lost in the Forbidden Woods." Her voice was soft with sadness but still clearly heard. "This means he will have to be put to death doesn't it?"
The silence from the demigod was loud enough in its own right. King Gabriel would pay the price of meddling with the Darkened Magic, the blackest of black magic and required sacrifices of souls and thousands of blood rituals or even contracts with demons. The penalty was raised even more for using the Darkened Magic on a Destined and stunting Marinetteâs growth and endangering her life, a Demigod had chosen her and had been denied the right to connect with her because of Gabriel's foolishness.
"You'll rise to your place in the throne then Prince Adrien."Â
"You can't be serious, killing my father? For using magic on a witch?" Adrien cried, waving his arm carelessly.
"Boy, Magic Kissed you are but Chosen you are not! I will take you down with him should you choose to go against the wish of the Gods!" Plagg snarled, teeth glinting sharply in the candlelight.Â
Adrien started at the show of anger and reacted with fangs bared and eyes darkening to red. The predator was unused to feeling truly like prey, even in front of his father and his fight or flight instinct was set to fight. Marinette hummed herself, layering a few protective spells over herself and Plagg, surprising the demigod enough to whip his head and stare at her in disbelief.
"You're Tikki's chosenâŠ" Adrien calmed a bit and glowered at the two that had suddenly forgotten him.
"I wouldn't know." Marinette whispered, barely heard by either male.
"Look kid, either he dies and you step up to be the man they need you to be or you'll suffer at the end of my claws as well. You have until sundown to decide. Little witchling, I shall keep in touch. There will be three parting gifts in your room and with your smarts you'll put it all together." Plagg bowed slightly, a show of respect to Marientte which had her and Adrien shocked as the demigod disappeared.
"We need to act normal for the time being. I'll see you at dinner." Adrien spoke dismissively, an echo of Gabriel's attitude behind his words. Marinette was left with no choice but to retire to her room.
Her room was alive in the way only a witch could truly achieve, the flora was bursting with healthy green leaves and big bright beautiful blooms. The air carried a weight of the magic she often conjured within the four walls, positive and practice vibes floating playfully past one another to create a safe atmosphere. Little did anyone realize the room itself was enchanted and she could move the entire thing at will, it was difficult as it required a lot of magic but with the help of Moon Water, she could do it and hide away to regain her strength.
"Alright, time to get to work." Marinette opened her chest and humming a light airy tune, the shelves floated off the walls and slowly drifted into the chest, allowing her time to select certain ingredients. Taking a deep breath she changed her tune and her furniture began to shrink and floated into the chest as well. The young witch was about three quarters depleted of her magic, Marinette had suspicions that Gabriel had something to do with it.
"Okay, time to juice up. Just a little bit, nothing major. Nothing ventured, nothing gained after all." She muttered under her breath, trying to shake off the sudden nerves. Tapping into the last of her power, Marinette focused on the new moon water and held the clear quartz above it, near breaking concentration as it began to float. Starting a soft hum, the water took a shiny quality and the crystal glowed in response. Very thin multicolored wisps of smoke drifted back and forth, showing a tangible power exchange between both stored magics. Once the water no longer shined and the smoke faded fully, she stopped humming.
"One more step and onto freedomâŠ" Blue eyes took in the half packed state of her room, fingers already reaching for her Amethyst to charge with the Full Moon water. This was easier as there was only a little need for direction, the power was already there and no need to purify or mix with another essence. Gently she placed the crystal to float on top of the water and with a whisper of a chant, the process began.
Marinette moved around the room and tossed the shrunken furniture into the chest, convincing her plants to sleep for the trip and even getting some to shrink into seeds for packing purposes. Once everything was cleared and stored away, the young witch turned back to the crystal and pot, the process about halfway done. Steeling herself, Marinette grabbed a ring she rarely wore when staying inside the castle, strands of gold layered and twisted to form a beautiful rose. This was one of her more precious gifts, it also lent the ability to disguise everything tattletale from vampires.
"Now to make it through dinner⊠And hopefully out of here alive."
Dinner was a quiet affair, the tension could be felt by even the servants who were speedy about setting down the dishes and retreating as quickly as they could without triggering a chase from an angry vampire.
"I thought King Gabriel was to join us?" Marinette asked politely, forcing herself to enjoy the cooked lamb at a moderate pace.
"Father had some unexpected business to attend to." Adrien had finished sucking his peice dry and moved on to the goblet of blood wine.
"I hope nothing too strenuous."
"Father can handle anything."
Once she was finished, the table was cleared for dessert. The young witch knew this would be her moment as everyone else had left the room and if things were to go south, they would be spared from Adrien's wrath. Gathering courage, she rose from her seated position and bowed slightly.
"If you have a moment to spare, I would like to discuss something with you."Â
"So be it, speak your piece." Adrien leaned back in the chair, his persona more and more like his father every day but never closer than in that moment.
"After the events I am resigning from my position as healer for the Agreste Coven."
"Marinette, there's no reason to have this discussion." He sighed heavily and rose from his seat, turning to leave.
"There's no reason for me to be here any longer Adrien. My original reason for employment has been null for a long time. I feel it's time to leave and further my skills, that cannot be done while in here. There's nothing for me to learn." As a human she knew this would trigger what was left of his humanity and kept her breathing even to avoid the blow upÂ
Adrien spun around suddenly, knocking off the dinnerware from the table. The plate was a near miss from cutting Marientte's bare feet but she stood her ground, after all no matter how nice Adrien was, there was still a predator in his heart. Green eyes blazed with anger and a low snarl ripped from his throat, it had no effect on her after so long of being in his service. "You dare mock me and then presume to leave me!? For the flea bitten mongrel at that?"
"I'd rather lay with that so-called mongrel and risk fleas than be with you a moment longer than I have to." Marinette calmly stated, pulling on her inner strength to not let her ring fail her and reveal how fast her pulse was truly racing.
"What is this really about Marinette? Did I not give you all the splendor and treasures you could want? I let you choose a trade and keep your money from it, supporting you and never asking for you to repay your debt with me. Have I ever hurt you?" Adrien spread his arms dramatically, appearing innocent except for the look of rage taking over his face.
"Adrien. Do not make this a big deal, Plagg is already watching you closely." Praying to the demigod himself that Adrien wouldn't be able to call her bluff. "I am not a prize to be won or fought over, I am most certainly not yours. You have never hurt me nor have I you, please do not change that."
"Then leave, when you get fleas do not come crying to me." Adrien spun and left the dining hall, anger leaking from him.
Marinette wasted no time, teleporting back to her room and casting a cloaking spell on the chest. The transfer was done and quickly she saved the water for both by sealing the collection pots temporarily. The crystals went onto the pouch at her waist, Marinette noticed that there was more than usual and smiled in relief.
"One of three found little witchling. Best hurry to get out of here before my kitten blows a gasket." Plagg commented lazily, floating above the opening of her door.
"Thank you for your watchful eyes Plagg." Dropping into a quick curtsey and drawing a quiet chuckle from the Demigod, the witch finished packing what little was left. Humming brightly, she gasped as the chest shrunk into a perfect sized bracelet.Â
"The least I can do to help rectify the wrong that has been done towards you. Mayhaps you should find a mentor that has knowledge of God's and Divination."
"Consider it done! Master Fu told me if i ever needed anything to go see him at the Temple of Heroes." Marinette smiled brightly and with a wink, teleported into the clearing she favored. She miscalculated how drained she was on magic as something solid but somewhat squishy.
"Well lass, did not expect you to fall into my lap quite like this." The werewolf's deep timber caused a shiver to run up her spine.
"Not quite my intention but I do need help and a certain big friendly werewolf would be quite helpful against the big scary vampires."
"Well lassie, you're in luck. Just hang on." He shifted her to his back and she clung on for dear life with a huge smile on her face. Time to live for herself.

Trading Circle of Hell
@semi-slaughtomatic happy belated birthday doll! I will be cross posting to AO3 later as well but I wanted to get this out there now that its done!
-start-
"Welcome welcome! Females to the left and males to the right! Look for anyone with a purple butterfly mask to make your purchase or ask for more information on our unique invenitory! Rumor has it our esteemed kings shall be here today, make your selection quick for I fear even I wouldn't dare say no to them...."
Viperion scanned the room in disgust, cages with humans, demons, various kinds of fae and more supernaturals were lined and spaced very strategically. Only one or two people could view a 'selection' at a time and there were plenty to choose from.
"This is not what I was expecting." Chat Noir spoke up, teeth bared in rage at what he was seeing. They had been tipped off there was an underground market, an illegal one even by demon standards, and here was the proof right in front of their eyes.
"Easy Plagg, we have time to browse and choose carefully from the... Inventory."
"Yeah yeah Sass, kumbyyah and all. I want one with spirit."
"I want one with some brains, the traps keep killing people." Sass responded, sharing a smirk with his companion and drawing his hood closer to his face. The last thing they needed was for someone to recognize them as they were investigating this horrid black market before they could shut it down. The problem with the recon mission was that they needed to be stealthy and being the Snake and Black Cat made them the best choice, even if they had more favorable morals and senses of justice within them unlike many other demons. It was the secret that made them good rulers and their following loyal to them and them alone.
"Welcome gentleman! Forgive me I have spent too much time topside lately, is there anything specific you happen to be looking for? Someone for manual labor or more physical labor in the place of rest?" The Showrunner as he chose to title himself wisely decided to not touch either of them like he had for many of the other buyers.
"I need someone with a firey spirit and tough enough to withstand the Hell Fires."
"Oh, you must live under our illustrious leader Chat Noir then, pray tell would a dragon suffice good sir?" Beady eyes were shining in glee as Plagg exchanged a glance with Sass.
"Depends on the age and gender, perhaps you can direct me where I could find such one?"
"Of course, in the front row at the very end of the left side. A Longg follower that is quite the spirited miss. And for you fellow good sir?"
"I need someone smart and cunning, quick as a mouse if you will,"
"Ah I wish we could've acquried a Mullo follower but alas not this round... I do however have a special quiet thing that could fit the bill if you're interested?"
"Perhaps, show me your inventory and I may still need to browse, I have other stations that could be filled if I do not find someone to my liking." Sass followed the leader and hid his disgust with all of his being, he wanted nothing more than to poison the man with a quick strike. The cages had various states of captured folk in various stages of distress or anger, the collars adorning their necks were equipped to restrain their unique talents and powers, preventing any type of escape from their cages. Guards and hired demons of lower levels were mingling around the crowd should someone get lucky enough to successfully escape from behind the bars.
"Here we have a pretty little thing but awfully quiet. she does have a voice but her glare usually speaks for her, I have had some issues with one so she is at a discounted price, only 150 thousand."
Sass raised a brow at the price, many of the others were easily going for ten times as much for a starting bid. Either she was too much to handle for the ring leader or she was damaged in some way. Finally looking at the cage, his breath caught. He would know those blue eyes anywhere and was glad that his self control was damn good. Her resemblance to her parents was uncanny, even if they had not been seen by a single eye in over 200 years.
"She's a looker but anyone who dares to get too close suffers, unless that's your type of ah, fun shall we say?"
"I'll take her, she'll make an excellent addition to the baker's guild. If she turns out she can't bake well, I'm sure she could plead to Tikki for help before she became the next meal."
"Very well, as with everyone else I'll collect the payment before the next round and after inventory has been checked and secured, you can take it home with you. If anything else catches your eye, please let me know." With that, the Showman left to prey on other prospective buyers and Sass glanced around, noticing only a few other demons looking at the few cages with interest. It was safe enough he supposed.
"Tell me little one, do you like sweets or cheese?" Pulling carefully on his power, he let flow enough to touch his eyes, making them turn mint green and seeing her eyes flash a pale pink, drawing a gasp from that luscious mouth. "So you are a true Mullo follower then."
"Snake." She murmured and smiled sweetly, eyes flashing once more.
"Black cat is here too, the Longg follower is coming with us and this place is done for." Sass whispered, directing his gaze towards the other side where he could see Plagg was prowling and looking at everything with a calculating gaze, casing the entire space.
"Kagami?" She whispered so softly he nearly missed it, drawing his attention and she flushed pink as she shrunk down.
"Well then, even better. Plagg, if you're ready I am. Nothing else has caught my interest."
"Good, let's find the Showman and collect." The green of his iris was gleaming, a yellow tint coloring them acid and the barely concealed rage shining. Their aura made everyone scurry away from their path as they followed the twists and turns through the cages.
"Ah, is there a problem, good sirs?" The Showman was on guard, eyes narrowed and watching carefully for any signs of aggression.
"Ah, he's a devout follower of Lord Viper himself, very covetous this one is. Terribly sorry but it would be in everyone's best interest if we were to collect and leave the place in one piece." Plagg smiled, fangs fully on display which kicked up the tension a few notches.
"Ah we can certainly make an exception but the prices do change for those in a hurry to get to the breaking in part. Do you have your own collars for your purchases?"
"Now now, it's not nice to insult paying customers, good sir." A black gloved hand produced two simple collars, the scent of ash faintly stirring the air.
"Ah, this way then." With a couple of gestures, two lizard demons who posed at security moved through the crowds and collected the cages, going down a different hallway then the trio did. The lanterns glowed eerily with the Hell Fire flames, Plagg and Sass having to bite back their power to prevent a surge in the flames and revealing themselves to the scum they were forced to follow.
"Alright, very simple to do. I'll deactivate the collars and you can place yours, once secure then I'll remove the standard ones. Precautions you knowâŠ"
Sharing a glance they split and stood in front of their chosen. The slimey demon brought over two charged stem crystals and with a small fizz of power the collars were deactivated. Sass noted the little mouse seemed upset but not scared as expected, carefully he stepped closer and leaned down slightly to secure the 'collar', a small whisp of smoke puffed to signal the lock was in place. Taking the other charged stem, the Showman waved it nearby and the slave collars fell off into his hands.
"Thank you for your time and interest gentleman, enjoy your investments!" Waving them to follow one of the guards and the other bringing up the rear, the four made their way out of the illegal catacombs market. Continuing on for a few tense miles until they were sure the guards had indeed returned, they stopped.
"Alright, introductions! I would happen to be Chat Noir, ruler of all the darkness and destruction. For stealth purposes please refer to me as Plagg."
"Viperion, Lord of Time and Incubi. Code name Sass."
"Kagami, a devout Longg follower. I work under the name Ryuoko." The dragon dusted herself off nonchalantly, eyes piercing in their intent to gage how much of a threat the two lords were.
"Multimouse, a converted Mullo follower."Â Viperion ignored the sly grin and everything that it said from his fellow demon lord.
"So what's the plan?" Ryuoko asked, smirking.
"Well, do what we do bestâŠ" Blue eyes turned a shimmering green and emerald green took on an acid yellow green shine.
"Destroy those who break the Seven Hells contract." Each collar shifted into a choker, a reaction to the sudden leak of power from demon lords, this would boost both female demon's powers as well as protect them. The time of reckoning was at hand.

"Couffaine, do something about him please, the sappy looks are gross." Chloe wrinkled nose and huffed in mild irritation.
"I don't know what you want me to do about my brother..."
"I was talking about Marinette." The response had her sputtering and on reflex froze before she broke her pencil, again.
"Look, I'm sorry you're 'moon' isn't around right now sunshine but that doesn't mean you need to pick on my dork."
"Oh gross." Juleka groaned, her complaint barely heard over Rose and Alya giggling.
"Sleep with one eye open Marinette, one eye open." Chloe narrowed her eyes and the faint tapping of her nails punctuated her words.
"Alright back to business, I need help with this wedding. I mean who would've thought Nora would be getting married before me!"
"Well slow and steady wins the race and we all know Nino is quite the turtle." Another round of giggles and scoffs filled the room, a warm but boney chin settled nicely on the curve of her shoulder and an arm found its way around her waist.
"You should sit down for a bit, you've been standing for a while." Luka's voice was warm like honeyed tea and caused the same result, her body easing away the tension from this latest commission.
"I will don't worry, almost done here anyways. Manon needs my help with her project and she should be here soon."
"Good, I'll hide the breakables." Luka took off just to do that, leaving Marinette stuck explaining through giggles what was so funny. After properly conveying her explanation, she ended the call with promises to follow up in a couple days as everyones schedule was pretty flexible.
"Have fun?" He inquired as she made her way into the kitchen.
"Yes, the girls love how you always say hi."
"Well I just want them to like me, I know I'm pretty important to you but they are too. I just wanna show them how much I love you."
"You sap." She pulled his soft smile closer for a kiss or five until the door bell chimed.
