Ache

a poem i wrote for the longing of someone

this ungodly ache has taken its hands and attached itself to me, this ache for your touch something so far from pain, yet pain is all i feel

ache, the feeling that feels so detrimental to my well being because, i cannot feel you, simply as a human

anger and sadness come alongside this ache with their arms spread wide, smiles erupting from the sinister face, i so gracefully accept because feeling their presence, their graceful hugs. it is far better than feeling nothing.

my skin longs for you, longs for your scent, longs for your eyes, i ache and long and feel everything all at once.
