a) The economic impact of the coronavirus quarantine 1. If the quarantine lasts a long time, the small businesses will lose economic stability. 2. 2nd Conditional

a) What kind of student would you be if you weren’t registered at FAD? If I weren’t student in the F.A.D, I would be an apprentice of luthier. Because in my childhood I studied in the “Escuela Superior de Musica” for six years, in this institute I formed my knowledge in the area of string instruments, so that I saw how they repaired violins, cellos, pianos and guitars whit care and patience, all of these things they surprise me so I began to appreciate the luthier’s trade as a career where the practice and love for the music it has to be constant to give the best results.

b) Where would you like to work if you had the opportunity and means to choose? Why? If I worked in the world of animation, I would develop my professional career in Laika studios. I wouldn’t think twice to work in this study because they are the best in the technique of stop motion and the benefits are the best in the field of film business, something else that interests me is because my curriculum vitae would have a greater recognition in the job interviews, so that I would have the opportunity of working in others studios how Paramount pictures, Kraneo Estudio or the possibility of directing my own animated serie.

c) Who would you like to practice English with if you had the chance to use it on a daily basis? Why? If I had the opportunity of study english everyday, I would practice with Polly Samson. I chose this English writer because I would have the opportunity of listen, read and understand of language directly from a native speaker which knows the grammatical rules because of their work and could teach me more easily the issues that are difficult for me. I think also would learn of bit of history of english literature because in his novelistic work show a lot of interest on this issue.

Story 1 Freddie Mercury never died This is the year two thousand ninety one, and a hundred years have passed since the day where the great Fredy Mercury lost his life because of HIV, fortunately today thanks to new technology of resurrection of bodies, we can still see him sing like only the big rock stars. Everybody thinks that, If he hadn’t risen, he wouldn't have sold all the CDs that singers born in this era wish sell.

Story 2 Entities from outer space invaded Earth in the late 60's The civilization has been devastated after the attack of strange objects that came from the sky, we only survived a few after ten years of war, the summer of love seems like a distant memory. If the humanity had known about its existence before, the humanity would have won In the battle. In this moment only remains to survive and wait.

If you read this letter means there is still hope.

Story3 The Russians won the space race and the Cold War The new lunar community is already established and the Russians being the first to arrive, have more than half of the territory. Many nations are not happy with what happened so they are allying with the United States of America. The things would have been different. If they had forgotten their ambition, they would have gotten the best territory in the moon. I hope that a fifth world war does not break.

Review of Conditionals

In this moment I am optimistic because If we take with responsibility the necessary measures respect COVID-19, we will return in a short period of time to our normal activities. I feel that the most important is think in community and find solutions that benefit everyone, one example of this is my university because it is collaborating with other universities of the world to study this new virus and the same time informing the entire community of students and teachers in addition that it is offering free testing to detect the disease.

If I had the opportunity to help, I would design artistic activities that can be done from home as coloring pages, story illustration or animated shorts with plasticine, the goal would be make more bearable the quarantine. For me this isolation has been quiet because I have homework and projects although sometimes all this becomes very difficult and frustrating because I don't know how to handle some applications or the tools of specialized programs in animation this is very maddening but i'm sure If I had studied and attended my lessons the last semester, I would have delivered the project in time and form, the last week.

Loving you is a dirty job

Bonnie Tyler was the typical London girl who dreamed of leaving home. Everything happened whit normally in her life until one day she saw a singing contest on televisión and she excitedly exclaimed:

 -This competition is very interesting!!, I could participate and go to America to the grand finale!!

 Her parents didn't have to know anything about it, because her mother was annoying  and her father was a boring military. The only person she had was her boyfriend Robert a boy astonishing and captivating.

Life was not easy for Bonnie, because she had to deal with household problems so school was a breather. The singing classes were the best, for her, singing was fun and listening to music was the way to escape to other worlds.

The day of audition to participate in the program was approaching and Bonnie didn't know what song to sing yet, so she decided to write a new. The writing the song was a difficult process but she enjoyed making the whole montage of the lyrics and the track. This song had been written thinking about the problems she had overcome with Robert so the title would be “Loving you's a dirty job”

 The day of audition came and Bonnie felt safe because she loved performing on stage. The public for a moment was discouraging but soon she won everyone's admiration with her powerful voice.

The remakes in the film industry they are causing a lot of damage in the creation of new narratives in the world of cinema it seems that the industry has been trapped in nostalgia and the past drama that in their time contributed to the advancement of cinema, these now alone satisfy the pocket of the big production houses like Disney. Film directors and critics are alarmed, so much, that the death of the cinema has been thought and the public begins to feel bored. Now this industry is depressing for some and visiting the cinemas becomes frustrating. Martín Scorsese has already said it the projected in movie theaters in this moment is alarming for all because it's not just remakes anymore, it's also the increase in the production of superhero movies based on their old stereotypes of the 80's and 90's what makes today's movie directors and producers to feel disappointed. The success of these films at the box office is definitely confusing for movie theorists. Scorsese is not the only one confused too Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu has demonstrated his disagreement, calling “cultural genocide” to this kind of movies. Really the people who work in this industry are very overwhelmed, cinema has been divided into two camps, some people are disgusted and others saw in fascinating ways the new special effects that are emerging from the remakes and superhero movies of Disney. It is true that superheroes are good characters but only in the vast world of a graphic novel because in these we can see a scared Batman during in a battle or a depressed Peter Parker like in the comic entitled "Spider-Man No More".

Review of Gerunds

Art is unstoppable. As David Bowie mentioned in one of his most iconic interviews, "Tomorrow's culture is always dictated by the artists”.

I love studying the fascinating world of art but for some reason I always end up hating the ego of the current artist. Arts students hate to seeing artist stereotypes offered to us in the school because they limit us to follow in the footsteps of people for whom we feel no admiration. From my perspective my friends and I enjoy learning about the artists who are exhibited in the class but unfortunately we are forced to adopt the style and theme of these professionals.

I like painting an amazing landscape but I know that no longer meets the needs of today's art world. That is why art schools are trying to adapt to the gallery market that is growing faster than traditional teaching in academies. This generation of artists is seeing how galleries have taken the reins of artists' lives.

These times are fascinating, because we are witnessing a new way of understanding the world and art, this moment opens the doors for artists to imagine analyzing new events that will mark the future of art,  as was the second world war or the Russian revolt.

The good thing about studying visual arts it's that I have the chance of working in various areas, for example, work in a museum or have the possibility of designing  prosthetics for people who need it most. Sometimes studying arts becomes frustrating and others times is relaxing, because you can go into the study of areas such as biology which is related to the Bioart.

After graduating  I wish to be able to implement art in the Biology with various projects that can help the environment, as did the artists in the seventies with the Land Art. I hope that more artists are interested in understanding nature and in this way generate a change in society.

I really hope that in a future all enjoy learning from nature.

Reaction: Weirdest Video

In a moment of video I hated watching because it was a very ugly due to the performance of the actors, more of the man on the chair. It's complex to explain my position about this video, well, I'm not accustomed to watch videos related to Japan, I say this because the surest is that the Japanese like the video and considered funny.

I experimented a variety of emotions, I hated listening the sounds produced for the actions of the people in the video. In the visual topic, I love watching the variety of visual effects to make the video, I enjoy thinking about the realization of the make-up; it is horrible in the good sense.

This video we were shown the reaction of youtubers when see videos of a group of Japanese girls named Baby Metal. They are very cute, young and weird

The youtubers´ reaction was varied because some hated it and other loved it. A girl was surprised watching the video when seeing the part of the kaleidoscope faces. An Asian boy hated listening to music of the Asian metal group, the Afro-American boy loved discovering the variety of that music because it mixed different genres music.

How ancient art influenced modern art

REVIEW OF THE VIDEO

The term “modern art” has developed for 150 years. It was revolutionary back then, the first modern artists like Van Gogh and Gauguin weren’t accepted for many years because the people had considered this art as something disgusting and degenerate. The great of the first moderns is that they explored the painting discovering new forms of artistic expressions and they watched the world with new eyes exploring different cultures of the world as African, Asian and  Islamic.

Everything would change when the young Picasso visited his friend called Henri Matisse and he saw an African mask before he visited the ethnographic museum of Paris, this moment would reveal the young Picasso the secret of Cubism, he had created, many years later, “Las señoritas de Avignon” before  there emerged new young artists  influenced  by cultures of all the world.
