3 Hard Rock Festivals You Do Not Want To Miss
Big rock fan? You’re not the only one! Over at Festivisits.nl we love our Hard Rock! So, we’ve compiled this list of 3 Hard Rock Festivals you do not want to miss! If you’re looking for a rock-filled summer, you’ve come to the right place!
Resurrection Fest

The first Hardrock Festival on our list is “Resurrection Fest”. This festival takes place in Viveiro, Spain. First starting out as a two day festival, it has grown into the massive four-day hardrock festival that it is known as today. One of the few 3+ day rock festivals around!
Every year this festival attracts roughly 55,000 visitors, mostly from Spain, Portugal, and France. Making it one of Spain’s largest music festivals! At Resurrection Fest, you can expect performances from artists such as Iron Maiden, Korn, Kiss, Scorpions, Down, Trivium, Crowbar, Black Flag, and many, many more!

The second Hardrock Festival on our list is “Download Festival”. This festival is held every year in at Donington Park, England. It offers a five-day long rock-filled experience. So, grab your tents and get ready to camp!
Every year this festival attracts over 100,000 festival-goers! One of the largest festivals in Europe. If you have not been to Download Festival, then you’re missing out! This festival draws in the biggest artists in the genre such as Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Slipknot, Metallica, Kiss, Status Quo, ZZ Top, Whitesnack, and many, many, more!

Wacken Open Air
The third, and final Hardrock festival on our list is “Wacken Open Air”. This festival is held every year in Wacken, Germany. It boasts being one of the largest hardrock festivals in the world, AND the largest open-air festival in Germany. If that doesn’t grab your attention, I don’t know what will!
Founded in 1990, starting as a two day festival with only 800 festival-goers, Wacken Open Air has grown to attract over 85,000 festival-goers annually.
