Some (if not all) of the Ten(Eleven) Elites had no idea about the truth of where their Crests and Hero’s Relics came from. We see this in “Remnants of a Forgotten Memoir” in the Shadow Library.

So if they were unaware of the actual origins of the Crests and Relics, then where exactly did they believe they came from?

The answer seems to be in the previous entry:

“My life, along with my sacred weapon will unquestionably be forfeit.”

I think it’s clear Rhea isn’t the one who invented the “Crests and Relics are Divine Gifts from the Goddess” story. It seems Nemesis is responsible for that creative spin. But then again, I guess creative spins are kinda his M.O.
