oh my friend my dearest companion. you KNOW the way to a gentleman's heart is through his fixations. and nonetheless, i am unable to resist the allure. dude its so good

its this choose-your-own-adventure book / interactive novel / game thing you can get on steam for cheap if youre feeling nasty. you play as a ptsd-stricken ex-superhero who is beginning your journey into becoming a SUPERVILLAIN. you can be maniacal, you can be scheming, you can be 'basically a good guy in a scary outfit', etc. there are some of the best written dating sim romances ive ever seen in this bad boy. its just short enough that it has this addictive quality that has me replaying it 30 times per day to try to perfect my run (and by perfect my run, i mean Design my Main Character in the exact way i want). i cannot recommend it enough. gahghgh

You keep staring at the picture, rigid lines, shifting organic paint layers, clashing bright orange and mustard yellow against a black that's not black as much as deep greens and blues masquerading as buildings. Oppressed. The sun hangs too low and heavy, pressing down on the buildings like a hand on a heaving chest. Pretending to be still. Pretending to be dead.
