when i'm trying to live my life in peace and i remember doing the IB traumatised me to the point of nightmares about what could be on the exam papers.

but now that I've passed i actually no longer care about my score. like it was never that serious and yet I had literal nightmares and woke up in a cold sweat a multitude of times.

the worst part about living with your family is when you make a sweet treat and they eat all of it without remorse

Older sibling cannon events

and possible the worst one - watching your younger sibling get away with something when at the same age your parents would have killed you

them being better than you at something that was actually really important (sports, music, whatever)

teachers saying your younger sibling is such a sweet kid after you've spent all of the previous night dodging assassination attempts

watching them go from a small child to a teenaged monster

the later curfew your younger siblings have that you would have killed for

your clothes mysteriously vanishing and appearing in their wardrobe

trying to shush their crying when you've made them cry in a fight before mum finds out

fighting over the TV remote like it's a matter of life or death (this is more of a weekly occurrence rather than a singular cannon event)

people telling you the two of you look really alike or nothing at all alike (there's no in between)

them becoming taller than you - like seriously the disrespect, my sibling tilted his head up and pretended not to see me for like an hour and whenever I spoke he claimed the wind was talking and he was hearing voices

the first time you ever get a Christmas or birthday present from them that they bought with their own money
