" When I first met the Doctor, a long, long time ago, he knew all about me. Think about that. An impressionable young girl, and suddenly this man just drops out of the sky, and he's clever, and mad, and wonderful, and knows every last thing about her. Imagine what that does to a girl. Trouble is, it's all back to front. My past is his future. We're traveling in opposite directions. Every time we meet, I know him more, he knows me less. I live for the days when I see him, but I know that every time that I do he'll be one step further away. The day is coming when I'll look into that man's eyes, my Doctor, and he won't have the faintest idea who I am. And I think it's going to kill me. "

Autism Flash Blogging Alert
Trigger warning: death, genocide
Relevant if you think that having google autocomplete for “autistic people should” include that we should die and be exterminated is a problem.

Happy birthday to Carson McCullers, born on this day in 1917.

AE: What are you enjoying most about Bo and Lauren's season three relationship? ZP: I'm enjoying what I've enjoyed about their relationship from the very beginning: the way the writers and the show handle the story. It is filled with all of the things any relationship is filled with. It's just been treated so respectfully. A lot of times same-sex couples of TV get treated in all sorts of negative ways or tossed off or the couples are just given lip service. But Bo and Lauren have been treated the same as Bo and Dyson, and Kenzi and Nate. The reason I think our gay audience, our bi audience, our transgender and even straight audience have responded to Bo and Lauren the way they have is because our writers have said, "This is a relationship that matters." And it does matter. It's relevant, it's real, and it's honest. I think that's why — no matter how our audience identifies, gender-wise or sexuality-wise — Lauren and Bo resonate.

This woman is a law graduate, a paralegal, a human rights campaigner, a model, and most importantly a human being. She was murdered by her Paralympian boyfriend, and Britain’s most popular newspaper runs this as its front page, refuses to use her name and instead refers to her as the man’s ‘lover’.
Fuck you if you don’t think sexism is still a thing. Fuck. You.

Hey There Doccubus and Lost Girl faens! (I know the pun is cheesy;))
I was just sitting here today reading all your amazing thoughts and theories on the Doccubus scene where Bo lashes out at Lauren! I really love them, on thing came to my mind though. Another reason why Bo might lashed out at Lauren in such an outburst and not the others (like Trick or Dyson) has maybe to do with her own guilt. Bo feels guilty to have neglected "her heart" a.k.a. Kenzi for such a long time, she didn't even realized she had an imposter at home. And she lashes out at Lauren because subconsciously she might believe it was in the first place due all the time she spend with her girlfriend instead paying attention to her bestie...
So this outburst was probably not only aimed at hurting Lauren, but to hurt herself? And the doctor instantly realized what Bo was actually telling her between the lines, hence the "I hope that's not true" quip.
I also interpret the "I just can't right now" at the end of the episode in this regard. Bo knows and Lauren knows...and now I can't wait how they both will deal with that situation...Maybe a reversed 3x04 scene?
Yeah.
If somebody has mentioned this already then don't mind me, it just popped up in my mind.
