i dont get why people complain about the 'slowburn' of wesper being ruined when it, wasnt? there wasn't a slow burn to begin with. the six of crows duology does not take place over an extended amount of time. they pine and angst yes, but not slowburn. it just feels that way because of the tension and the want for them to finally get together, and the form of reading makes it feel drawn out. when you binge the episodes you don't get that same feeling. but wesper has never been a slowburn
