Monday, August 11 Day 1: Write that forehead touch scene we never got the context for Alternate theme: Post-Final Reckoning reunion (whole team or just Benthan)

Tuesday, August 12 Day 2: 5 times Ethan says “Talk to me, Benji” + 1 time Benji says “Talk to me, Ethan” Alternate theme: Final Reckoning decompression chamber, replacing Grace with Benji

Wednesday, August 13 Day 3: Ethan has trouble telling what is real after communicating with the Entity Alternate theme: Others find out that Ethan and Benji are dating/married

Thursday, August 14 Day 4: Ethan moves into Benji’s apartment to help with his or Benji’s recovery and never leaves which actually suits Benji just fine (accidentally on purpose living together) Alternate theme: Benji is there for Ethan when grief for Luther hits him at an unexpected time

Friday, August 15 Day 5: Final Reckoning Ethan finds out what happened to Benji and then later Benji learns what Ethan went through with Gabriel Alternate theme: One of them is high/drunk

Saturday, August 16 Day 6: Benji using his honeypot skills on a mission (Ethan doesn’t like this) Alternate theme: What was the incident with Ethan that caused Benji to pursue medical training? And how did Ethan feel after he learned this? How did he feel after FR when he learned that Benji had to essentially treat himself?

Sunday, August 17 Day 7: After his excursion into Arctic waters, Ethan is always cold. Benji notices. Alternate theme: Ethan accidentally runs into Benji while undercover (in a mask) and they end up flirting the night away

Fighting The Reaper Tote - ME/CFS Awareness

Being part of a fandom is all about community and finding family. Recently, spinosa prunus aka Ms Autobahn, a member of the Supernatural Family, reached out on Discord about a fundraiser they and their daughter Rebecca were doing to help fund research into a debilitating condition that is affecting not only Rebecca, but lots of people.

So The Epic Love Story of Sam and Dean and the Idling in the Impala podcasts are helping spread the word, raising attention and much needed funding for research into ME/CFS...

We want to help raise awareness and funds for the #lemonchallengemecfs

All of their donations go towards research to find a cure for long covid ME/CFS

ME/CFS (myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome) is a severe multisystem disease that usually occurs after an infection but can also be triggered by other factors. Many patients with post-COVID syndrome also suffer from ME/CFS. Patients have a very low quality of life and often a high degree of disability. Participation and quality of life are often significantly restricted, even in very young sufferers. About 2/3 of all patients are unable to work, many of them are housebound or bedridden. "As this illness mostly happens in teens and young and middle aged women, and millions have fallen sick since Covid-19 and the ME/CFS numbers are exploding, its just logical that also many Spn fans have this severely disabling condition like my kid. There hasn't been enough research and too little funding because women often aren't taken serous enough with their illnesses and the Trump administration just canceled the little funds that were supposed to finance research for this disease."

Benthan Week 2025 Brainstorming

It's time to get ready for the annual Benthan Week! This year's event will take place August 11-17. Feel free to check out the Info & Rules if you're new to the event or have questions. Whether you've been here since the event's beginning or just stumbled onto this ship from the latest Mission movie, welcome!!

First up, let's get brainstorming! Each day of Benthan week needs a primary and secondary theme to inspire creators. You can check out past themes and works by scrolling the blog or checking past years' AO3 collections to get the inspo flowing! The more ideas, the merrier :)
