From the moment I started shooting fights, I had very little interest in pay per view arena shows or famous world champions. I wanted to shoot ordinary people doing something that most wouldnt see as so ordinary. And my focus hasn't been what happened once the bell rang. I believe this is from the 2nd fight night I went to. From day 1 my focus and interest was in the behind the scenes. At those first few, I didn't even shoot the fights. It was the entire process leading up to this moment, the moment immediately before the fight, and before the attention of spectators, lights, and other cameras that I wanted to capture.
