Hello! I've been a fan of Stranger Things since the beginning and a fanfic reader for even longer. I've had a fic idea for a while and because of it's intricacy I want to see if people would want to read. My plan is to follow the story starting from season 2 and incorporate this new character into the canon plot. I have always loved fics that follow the script and want to give it a shot! Synopsis below.

It's You & Me

Danielle Henderson is a lot of things --- a daughter, a sister, a friend, an artist, a bookworm, a loser, but most of all she's traumatized. 9 months ago her little brother went to a friend's house for a DnD campaign. Unlike most nights Danielle does not accompany him. A missing boy, a portal to hell, a girl with telekinesis, and a dead best friend is a lot for a 16 year old to endure --- especially when she feels partly responsible for Will's disappearance, the catalyst for it all.

That's all in the past and Danielle is ready to move on. She's got a new found sense of confidence, an eagerness to create from her trauma, and an ambition to leave Hawkins. But she also has a lifelong friendship on the brink of collapse, a bratty little brother with a pension for trouble, and a guard up around her heart.

When traumas resurface and the demons return Danielle, her brother, and distractingly gorgeous head of hair form an unlikely bond as they fight evil up close once again.

I want this to follow the story from season 2 and onward. Incredibly slow burn between Danielle and Steve, as well as a romance arc featuring Eddie Munson. Danielle is Dustin's sister and an original character with a strong personality, but you are welcome to insert yourself as you see fit. Let me know if you're interested in this story!
