Hi new Tumblr users
Please know this sites hashtagging system is categorical and NOT clout based
Aka if I look up the “Wendell and Wild” tag, I should find clips, media, art and posts related to Wendell and wild ONLY. Same with any other random tag searched
If I spy a selfie, a random neighborhood, or any other kind of “insta” post trying to take likes for a popular hashtag, I’m reporting you for spam. Most other long term users will too and your acct will be fast tracked as a spam blogger and blocked.
You will not ruin the last non corporate site for us, especially by trying to treat this site like influencers matter. If you get popular, it’s bc you’re a clown w a skill not bc your hot or rich or skinny, got it?

Okay I can't stop thinking about the line in Mockingjay where Katniss notices that Finnick does not let go of Annie's hand after they're reunited
And she thinks it's because he is afraid to lose her again, which I'm sure is a significant factor
But I also. I can't. I can't stop thinking that
That this is the first time Finnick can hold her hand in public. The first time he can hold her hand where people will see them. Because he is finally no longer the Capitol's golden playboy. He can hold the hand of the woman he loves and it doesn't have to be a secret anymore. He can hold Annie's hand without that simple action putting both of them in danger.
And don't even get me started about their wedding being broadcast into the Capitol. Finnick Odair, famous for "going through four or five" "lovers" every time he is forced to return to the Capitol. Finnick Odair, who was repeatedly sold to the highest bidders, who had to act for the cameras - and even away from the cameras! - that he liked it, that he wanted it. Who could never even risk marrying the woman he loved in secret because of what would be done to her if he did.
Finnick Odair gets to hold Annie Cresta's hand without fear of who sees them. And Finnick Odair, the Capitol's golden slave, and Annie Cresta, the girl who went mad and only survived the Arena because she could swim, get to swear vows of love and fidelity in front of everyone. In front of the cameras they had up til then feared seeing any move they made. They are married in front of those same cameras. They kiss, and they dance, and it is celebrated.
And Finnick doesn't let go of her hand.

I sincerely liked the inclusion of Glinda in the classroom scene with the lion because in the musical post-Popular she’s just not there when the lion cub is in the cage and Elphaba puts the class to sleep to save him with Fiyero but in the movie, Glinda is there, and she is put to sleep with the rest of the class while Fiyero isn’t, and it’s such a small but very significant detail of the progression of each character’s arc (Fiyero and Glinda) and how much Elphaba trusts them with. Seeing Glinda wake up alone was a gut punch, even if you understand why Elphaba didn’t trust her yet, even if it was an instinct on Elphaba’s part to exclude her, and it’s really cruel foreshadowing for the end of Act 2, when Elphaba and Fiyero once again leave Glinda behind and out of the loop with the truth of Elphaba being alive—and it enhances the tragedy because this time, at the end, Glinda’s character arc is complete and she should arguably be entrusted with that secret, but the seeds have already been planted so long ago, and now it’s too late

something about beverly toegold iv
half of his siblings died in a war against the giants. a war they barely won. a war they only won because they were able to trap the megalomaniacal leader of the giants in his own helm.
so he grows up. he protects the helm from falling into the wrong hands. he’s captain of the green knights. he has to keep living, he has a family now, not just the one decimated by war.
but war comes again. this time with the devil. the losses are greater. and his son is twelve now. he has to live for him. but two more siblings die. half of the remaining children of his parents. gone.
with so many green knights dead, after his city has come this close to ruin, he has to go own. be the best father and husband he can be. be the best captain he can be. something has to fall through the cracks.
and because he only has one left - it’s being a brother that he lets go of. just a bit. he sees ronald all the time, that’s his left hand. they work together despite being the only ones left.
and then ronald falls off a balloon. (jumps off a balloon.)
going on is a lot harder, then.
and when the choice comes between dying in a war and letting his son be angry at the world or dying of his own volition and letting his son be angry at just him, he knows what he has to do.
because his son is the sun. his light cannot dim. he knows exactly how war can destroy that.
his son can harden, but he cannot wilt.
so he makes the deal.

things i’ve noticed about kaidan alenko
he never admits he has migraines; he always says headaches.
he probably is super affectionate and touchy-feely when he’s alone with shepard
it takes a lot to get him really angry, but when he is, he’ll move mountains to satisfy that anger
he r e a l l y wants a steak sandwich
likes beer and whisky and probably was a lumberjack in a past life or something
trips over stuff
he can totally admit he was wrong in picking a fight with shepard on horizon
booty
is canadian so that explains a lot actually

I found an extremely dope disability survival guide for those who are homebound, bedbound, in need of disability accommodations, or would otherwise like resources for how to manage your life as a disabled person. (Link is safe)
It has some great articles and resources and while written by people with ME/CFS, it keeps all disabilities in mind. A lot of it is specific to the USA but even if you're from somewhere else, there are many guides that can still help you. Some really good ones are:
How to live a great disabled life- A guide full of resources to make your life easier and probably the best place to start (including links to some of the below resources). Everything from applying for good quality affordable housing to getting free transportation, affordable medication, how to get enough food stamps, how to get a free phone that doesn't suck, how to find housemates and caregivers, how to be homebound, support groups and Facebook pages (including for specific illnesses), how to help with social change from home, and so many more.
Turning a "no" into a "yes"- A guide on what to say when denied for disability aid/accommodations of many types, particularly over the phone. "Never take no for an answer over the phone. If you have not been turned down in writing, you have not been turned down. Period."
How to be poor in America- A very expansive and helpful guide including things from a directory to find your nearest food bank to resources for getting free home modifications, how to get cheap or free eye and dental care, extremely cheap internet, and financial assistance with vet bills
How to be homebound- This is pretty helpful even if you're not homebound. It includes guides on how to save spoons, getting free and low cost transportation, disability resources in your area, home meals, how to have fun/keep busy while in bed, and a severe bedbound activity master list which includes a link to an audio version of the list on Soundcloud
Master List of Disability Accommodation Letters For Housing- Guides on how to request accommodations and housing as well as your rights, laws, and prewritten sample letters to help you get whatever you need. Includes information on how to request additional bedrooms, stop evictions, request meetings via phone, mail, and email if you can't in person, what you can do if a request is denied, and many other helpful guides
Special Laws to Help Domestic Violence Survivors (Vouchers & Low Income Housing)- Protections, laws, and housing rights for survivors of DV (any gender), and how to get support and protection under the VAWA laws to help you and/or loved ones receive housing and assistance
Dealing With Debt & Disability- Information to assist with debt including student loans, medical debt, how to deal with debt collectors as well as an article with a step by step guide that helped the author cut her overwhelming medical bills by 80%!
There are so many more articles, guides, and tools here that have helped a lot of people. And there are a lot of rights, resources, and protections that people don't know they have and guides that can help you manage your life as a disabled person regardless of income, energy levels, and other factors.
Please boost!

masters has no idea about anything that has happened in this show
chase mentioned that house got shot, masters gets so freaked and chase is like "oh yeah in the office, like right in front of us. have you never seen the blood on the carpet"
chase gets locked out his bank account and asks if house is being pursued by another cop
the one mri machine they have stops working and foremans says "damn yknow we would still have that 10mil if house wasn't an ass"
Cameron solves a case and house says "I knew you were hired for something other then that ass"
it somehow comes up in conversation that Cameron kissed house and Martha's like 'erm I don't think that's legal' and taubs like "oh. I don't think you have anything to worry about"

Dude I just wanted Aria's help against the Reapers, now I'm in right in the middle of both the messiest, saltiest reunion of bitter exes the galaxy has ever seen AND a goddamn active warzone. How Shepard manages to get anything done is beyond me.

unpopular opinion: E.J. Barrett is a great character
just rewatched 8x17 and her introduction as an anti-hero kind of character is so well done. she's not only tied to Tony's past but somehow manages to annoy both Ziva and Gibbs merely by being herself.
we want to dislike her but we can't, mainly because... what has she done wrong? speak up and get cases right? being a strong... female team leader? plus, the ulterior motive of "so, I would've returned here, to the same place I would've left," from Tony because he didn't accept the job in Rota is magnificently well written. it's there for those who want to see it but Stern has made it so subtle it's difficult to catch. he sees in her the person he was supposed to be and she's so similar to him. what's not to like?
enters Ziva. Ziva, who works strikingly differently from him. Ziva, who's difficult to understand, who (at that time) didn't know where she was supposed to go, whom he saw as nothing more than a colleague. the subplot of E.J. is so amazingly well done cause it becomes an obstacle between them, so visible and justified, and extra kudos for MW to have directed that imagery so clearly.
let's go, Agent Barrett?? unfortunately, from a storyteller point of view, I can't help but enjoy it.

15 seasons of ncis with two main characters fluent in ASL. And not a single episode where there's a deaf witness or suspect... what's the point 😭 Like in real life like they know ASL in real life. And that was incorporated into their characters in a really meaningful way. And they used it randomly in bits and pieces for the first few seasons and then just dropped it. I mourn it every day.
