I forgot to post my Mardi Gras themed photos! This is from February, I prefer to do this over Valentine’s Day shoots.

(Oakley the red crestie did have a bit of a rough shed but he got a sauna after this to help)

Went to a wildlife park thought I’d share some pics here.

Most of the animals were illegal private pet rescues or failed wild rehabilitation. Especially a lot of the alligators as I live in Louisiana and there are constant reports of “nuisance” or injured gators.

Also before anyone points it out he has some scale damage/scaring on his nose.. It was caused by him rubbing his face on the mesh lid that’s on his terrarium but it’s pretty much healed.

A Growing List of Banned Tags

This is my second go at making this blog. The first time, I got shadowbanned immediately for writing a post with these words on it, so I’m going to have to link to a google doc instead.

If something is not on the list that does NOT mean it isn’t blocked. It just means I haven’t checked/added it if it is.

If you’d like to contribute tags you’ve found, please send it via an ask or submission so I can double check and add it to the list.

EDIT: Right now many of these are only banned on IOS, but that really doesn’t make it better

Hi what type of plants did you put in your bioactive enclosures for your cresties, thinking of making one for my own cresties in the future.

I currently have a few of Golden Pothos and 2 Snake plants (Sansevieria), plus 3 bromeliads that are 2 different species.

Edit: I forgot I have a few air plants (tillandsia) any species should work I just forgot I have them.

If you go with any of these I definitely recommend snake plants the most, as both of my cresties love them.

Also any type of bromeliad should work I got mine from the link below, they arrived super healthy. I know some people have issues finding a place that sells them so I thought I’d add it.

Also I got some of my plants from here as well. They have a section dedicated to safe plants for individuals species. So you can look at other options I didn’t mention.

called: Plants for Pet it should be in the popular categorizes on the left side.

(Sorry I’m advance as I’m unsure if these sites ship outside of the us however if they don’t, you can see your options and make a list from these and try to find them wherever they are available for you if you are international)
