My Session is Jan 2020, which Ignou Assignment Should I Submit?

Most of the students from Ignou are often confused about their Ignou Assignment Session and Submission date. This is quite obvious because Ignou follow two session system a year.

Ignou enroll students in July & January every year. So’ for the example you take Admission in July 2019 your session will be July 2019 to June 2020, and this is called session- 2019-20. 

Now lets take another example of Jan session- Suppose you took admission in Jan 2020 then your session will end in Dec 2020 hence this is also considered as - 2019-2020 session.

So 2019-20 session means- July 2019 Admission & January 2020 Admission. 

Now the main question is- which Ignou Assignment Should I Submit?

Ignou issues one question paper for one Session. Means if you session is 2019-20 then both July 2019 & January 2020 both will have same Assignment question paper. 

So if you have taken Admission in Jan 2020 session or your 2nd year or 3rd year begins with January 2020, you must submit Ignou Solved Assignments having session 2019-20.
