What's Chonny Jash? Or who? /nm

I'm seeing it everywhere and I have no idea what it is or what it entails

Chonny Jash is a who! ^^

He's a musical artist most well known for his album, Chonny's Charming Chaos Compendium, which covers songs from a band called Tally Hall, as well as the band members' other projects, like Joe Hawley's Miracle Musical/Hawaii: Part II.

The gist of it is a character named Whole who stands in for Chonny himself, who splits either metaphorically or literally into three halves. The Heart, the Mind, and the Soul.

The majority of the album is Heart, Mind, and Soul struggling to come Whole again.

The characters TECHNICALLY don't have official designs so you can envision them however you want!

It's also a time loop, so that's fun XD

Also, there are technically some reprises of songs, and Chonny made the reasonable decision to put all the variations of the songs into single videos with each variant, which is convenient, but may lead to some confusion. I recommend this playlist if you want to watch all the music videos:

i have one month left before i am kicked out of my house, and i need help to avoid homelessness

hey yall! its me again. if you havent seen these posts before (unlikely, theyve been circulating pretty well) im delilah, and im a queer autistic plural tgirl currently living in an abusive household in texas. on june 1st 2024, i will be kicked out, and i need to be able to get a place before that so that i can avoid homelessness. my previous goal was 2000, and we hit that! but after applying for. a lot of apartments. we have been rejected from a good few of the cheap options and im going to need a bit more money to make sure i can survive the moving out process. i know youve probably seen these posts a lot, but we're reaching the final stretch, and hopefully soon i wont have to worry about this anymore.

we're going to try to get around 3000, but maybe, hopefully, we can make around 3500 to absolutely make sure moving out is possible. thank you to everyone that has donated (ESPECIALLY PUNKITT AND THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE DONATED LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY, I GENUINELY LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH YOU ARE THE KINDEST PEOPLE ON THIS WORLD)

I got into Chonny Jash through The Mind Electric trilogy!

I knew jack rabbit about the story of CCCC but I was fascinated by the story of the song, and how The Mind Electric was completely reimagined into three separate songs.

I became slightly obsessed with OpalTheThing's CCCC animations until I finally caved and went "I've got to find out the story here"

And I was absolutely blown away to learn how lyrics I thought were metaphors (like "and he falls inside the hole he dug for me" in The Mind Electric) were literal, and how by changing a few words and adding a few lines, songs like Ruler Of Everything were completely recontextualized.

I've been a fan ever since! ^^

i'll go first(kinda lengthy so its under a readmore)^-^

I had a whole miracle musical/tally hall phase in the summer of 2022, was obsessed with The Mind Electric, and i made a yt playlist w like 50+ versions. fastforward a year later, in the middle of 2023, i found a crazy 12 minute cover by this weirdo named Chonny Jash(what kinda name was that??) and gave it a try and holy shit my mind was blown, the three songs were easily the best covers i'd ever heard and i fucking loved them so much

at first i was just a fan of those three songs, but slowly thru the end of last year but surely i started listening to his other covers, like Hidden in the Sand, Variations on a Cloud, Ruler of Everything, The Bidding, and The Whole World and You, in that order(they all have a soft spot in my heart cus of it). I realized thru The Bidding that the songs were actually all connected so on the last day of 2023 i gave the whole album a try and fucking loved it, both song and lore-wise and from then on I was a huge fan. i've since listened to a lot more of his music tho not everything yet

it's kinda crazy that I've only been super into it not even for that long, but my journey def started like almost a year ago now lmao. you could say i fell very slowly into a hole i couldn't s

obsessed with the implication of Darrell in cccc fanon. even if he's just soul's pet it still raises questions. why is there a chicken chilling in the psyche? where did he come from? is he the manifestation of whole's silly and joking nature, proof that it will prevail despite whatever angsty, raging despair torments within him? is chonny jash just part bird.

Sonic fandom, hey! I use this banner and meme to spread the idea of boycotting Paramount, the producers of the Sonic Movies and the Knuckles series, for their support of Israel. You can freely use them without credit.

Paramount has been on the boycott list for a while.

Sonic Movie 3 specifically will have Shadow’s VA be a man who is complicit, working with zionists (Keanu Reeves).

Cancel the Paramount + subscription if you have one and do not go to theaters to watch Sonic 3, even if it's got something you're particularly excited to see (Sonadow?)

Boycotting is also not posting about it in social media where they can get free promo (Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok). Perhaps talk about it in your blog without the official tags or keywords, maybe limit it to talking about it with your friends. There are many ways to go about it.
