“ Not at all I am 12 minutes tops but most of the time it’s less than that” He replied honestly as he looks at the man. “I am sure she is! How did the both of you meet?”
“12 minutes, see I could deal with that. To be fair Addy doesn’t really have to do all that much work, she’s just naturally stunning.” He knew that he probably sounded like an idiot but he didn’t care. “At last years New Years Eve celebrations.”

rhapsodics:
Addy jokingly rolled her eyes and shook her head. “Yeah, I think that’s just you that thinks that, but I appreciate the flattery,” she smiled. Plus, she rather enjoyed the fact that Finley couldn’t keep his cool with her around. She was head over heels, and so was he – rather reassuringly. “Me, not recognize you? Never. I’d pick you out of a crowd of thousands, beard or no beard. What sort of girlfriend would I be if I couldn’t?” She grinned. “Oh, I totally know that.”
“Are you kidding, there is a reason that your regulars are your regulars babe, and it’s not because you pull a great beer but that your service comes with an excellent view.” If he was a less confident type of guy, he would have probably worried and fussed over such a thing, but even when he had been away at college he hadn’t been bothered about it. “I mean that would be a pretty terrible thing, and you’d be a terrible girlfriend.” He smirked. “You know I have to leave soon right?”

“ I timed him the one time, it took a whole forty minutes so joke, and he told me he was only going to be ten minutes tops.” He replied laughing as he looks at the man. “What’s your girl’s name?”
“Are you as bad though? Or are you set waiting for him for the other 35 minutes? Because I just take my time and then I can tell her its her fault.” Finley shrugged as he looked back at the other, “She’s called Addy, she works in one of the bars, absolutely stunning.”

“I will never put an estimated limit to how much food I can eat. I’d like to think my relationship with it is much more spontaneous than that. It keeps the spark alive,” she snickered before she playfully nudged him with her shoulder, “Trouble? With you? Much needed, trust me.”
“Oh you’re a take it as it comes kind of gal are you?” Finley smirked as he looked back at her, unable to help himself as he let his mind wonder to less innocent places for a moment. “I haven’t been into trouble in a long time and honestly I miss it. I need to get my hands a little dirty.

rhapsodics:
“I’m sure a soda will cool you down just fine, babe,” she shook her head and laughed a little – he really was ready to play all the angles in an attempt for the beer. “Yeah, you will. I mean, I already struggle to resist you on a daily basis anyway, so I’m sure the beard will just amplify that struggle. But, it will be worth it for how good you’ll look,” she hummed. “I don’t even believe that myself most days. I’m glad it’s true, though. I’d rather be yours than anyone else’s.”
“How is anyone supposed to keep their cool with you around?” Finley grumbled as he looked down at his girlfriend, he wasn’t even sure she knew how hot she really was, or what she did to him without actually meaning too at times. “It does both ways, so you can’t have anything bad to say about it, but when I come back from college, you’re not gunna recognize me for a second.” He gave a small chuckle and shook his head. “You’re the cutest girl I ever met you know that right?”

“ He does spend a lot of time getting himself ready, I am always teasing him about it!” He replied laughing as he looked at the man. “ We are official… How about you do you have anyone?”
“I mean if you don’t mind watching him though then who cares, you’re the one who has to wait for him.” Finley chuckled, he wasn’t going to lie, he had spent long enough watching girls getting ready whilst playing with their fancy products. “I got a girl yea, she’s everything man.”

JACK WAS a little irritated that he couldn’t prove whether Finley was twenty-two on background knowledge alone. He knew Addy well enough, even knew Finley was her boyfriend, but he hadn’t exactly asked the guy’s life story. “alright, kiddo. just figured I’d check. guess you have a bit of a baby face,” He said, doing his best to get a read on the kid without looking unconvinced. “i’d get a call if it was fake, is all. so I try and stop kids before I have to you know, arrest them,”
He could feel the other watching him intently and he couldn’t help but smirk, even the name kiddo wasn’t enough to put him off, and that would have normally been enough to wind him up all day, but this guy had no way to prove he wasn’t 22. “No beard is easier in the football helmet is all.” Finley shrugged as he followed the other. “So you’re a cop huh? Sheriff? Deputy? Don’t tell me you’re still just an officer?”

rhapsodics:
“I would never do that,” she shook her head, though there was a smile on her lips. “I mean, we always have just as good a time when you’re not drunk anyway.” She hooked her arms up over his shoulders as he held her. “You should totally grow a beard, that would be hot. And maybe it’d help with the whole baby face thing and people would stop thinking you’re like, eighteen,” she shrugged. “You have friends? I’m shocked. All right, though. I’m up for meeting a friend.”
“I know we do, I only wanted a beer for the heat really but fine, I guess a cold soda will do just as well.” He’d been in a bad mood the past few days because he knew that sooner rather than later they were going to have to face the fact he would be heading to college whilst meant the months they had spent together were coming to a close and things would be different. “I’ll grow you the best damn beard and then we will see how much you can resist me.” Nudging his nose on hers the male sighed softly. “He’s not even going to believe you’re mine.”

“Who’s up for a round of buying too many sugary things and eating all of it in the next twenty four hours?”
“That sounds like a great idea, one that could lead to a whole load of trouble and you better believe that I am here for it, how much can you eat before you quit on me though?”

“ Okay, how handsome is he? He makes all the rude customers I had to deal with today all worth it, just knowing I can go see him later gives me the strength I need to push through it! Anyway, I am done for the day, you do you feel like a coffee?”
“I don’t know man, he looks a little pretty to me, like you’re going to have to fight him for the mirror on a morning.” Finley hummed as she scanned over the photo for a moment before he looked up at the other from where he was perched. “You two official or just a tinder thing? Coffee sounds good though.”

rhapsodics:
“I have beers in the fridge at home, you can have one whenever we get back,” she shrugged. She wasn’t one to encourage underage drinking, but she trusted Finley at least when he was in her house, anyway. “Yeah, you might be annoyingly taller than I am, but that doesn’t change the fact that you have a total adorable baby face. That probably gives it away.”
“Oh are you trying to get me drunk so you can take advantage of me?” Finley smirked as he wound his arms around her with glee on his face, he knew he didn’t need the beers, he was just enjoying trying to push his luck. “I could grow a beard if I wanted to, but I just choose to keep it this way.” He muttered, leaning to press a kiss to her lips. “My friend is in town by the way, he wants to meet you.”

rhapsodics:
She had been smiling at the reappearance of her boyfriend, until he actually started talking and her smile turned into a bit of a frown. “You’re hopeless, aren’t you?” She narrowed her eyes. “I mean… you can have fun at a festival without alcohol. I haven’t told anyone about your fake ID, honey. I think people are just intuitive enough to know you’re not old enough.”
“Of course I could have fun, but the point is, I wanted a beer.” The male grumbled. He might have done a lot of growing up over the past few months but he’d spent a life time creating his bad habits, and there were times it was still very obvious he was a 20 year old kid really. “I really don’t see how people even question it, I’m taller than most people here.” Wrapping his arms around her waist he rolled his eyes. “Including you might I add.”

Mack raised an eyebrow and looked at him for a moment, trying to judge if he was as old as he was saying he was. It didn’t take her long to come to the conclusion that he definitely wasn’t twenty-one, but that didn’t change an awful lot for her. “Yeah, all right. I’ll show you the way, but promise me one thing–” she held up a finger, “you’re not gonna rat me out to anyone for helping you get alcohol when you’re underage, because you totally are. I don’t wanna deal with those repercussions.”
Looking back at the girl he wasn’t expecting her answer, and he tried not to stare for a moment because he was pretty sure, this was exactly what Addy would have looked like a few years ago. Addy was still the more beautiful of the two of course, but the resemblance was enough to throw him for a second. “What makes you so sure I’m underage?” The male asked with a raised brow. “But no, even if I was it’s not like I’m about to go running to the sheriff is it?”

“Sorry, no. I’ve been looking for the tent myself, man. I wouldn’t be out here if I had spotted it already, trust me” a soft chuckle escaped the man’s lips, crossing his arms beneath his chest. “I’m starting to wonder if the beer tent is real at all or just a hoax, maybe a mirage.”
“I keep hearing about all of these mysterious stalls here, but I can never find them so you’re not the only one.” Finley grumbled as he looked around, it wasn’t like he was even one of the shorter people in the crowd, he just couldn’t see it. “Maybe it’s hidden somewhere for just the locals, you from around here or are you new too?”
