I think its funny that some people paint Jason and Tim as like mortal enemies when in the comics they act like this

Jason calls him "Timbers" and is like "yeah he's the only brother I can tolerate atm"

Like they genuinely respect each other. Don't get me wrong, I see the angst potential with these two, but also so much of their dynamic is just a typical sibling relationship.

Hear me out: AU where during Dick’s stint at Spyral, and specifically this scene:

Clark hears him.
Now, Superman can hear a breath from the other side of the world. This had become an issue.
For months, he’s been hearing a voice just like his nephew-in-all-but-blood. This wouldn’t have been a concern, were it not for the minor problem that Nightwing was dead.
Knowing this — knowing this familiar voice couldn’t have been Dick, and that it was only cruel circumstance that someone sounded so convincingly like him — Clark had vainly tried to ignore it since the funeral.
It must have been grief. He mourned the boy he’d watched grow since his head barely reached Clark’s hip, the one he’d gifted the mantle of a Kryptonian hero (yet somehow it was Clark who felt honored by the privilege to bestow it), the boy who called him “uncle” without a single thought given to the alien biology separating them. But Dick was dead, and so this voice couldn’t be Dick.
That’s what he said to himself, over and over and over again, seemingly dozens of times a day for the better part of a year, until one day the voice pleaded for a “Bruce”.
There were plenty of people named Bruce. There might’ve even been a few people who sounded identical to Dick. But one of those people, directly begging for a “Bruce”, in a context that implied some variety of covert operation?
That couldn’t have been coincidence.
Clark arrived at the source in less than the time it took to blink. The man in front of him is undeniably Dick. Covered in plenty of new scars maybe, eyes a tad puffy, and heart rate thrumming with the tell-tale signs of chronic stress, but Dick all the same.
He takes Dick home.
