Y’all ever realize that Finn literally runs straight through the middle of an extremely active and intense battleground when the women he loves has been taken. He doesn’t care that he is putting his life in danger, all he cares about is Rey and trying his absolute best to find her.

Finn and Rey fight with so much passion when they’re fighting for each other. When Rey is force pushed in to a tree and knocked unconscious, Finn literally stands up and looks in to the eyes of the man who took away everything he had, the man that killed Han Solo and the Man who just hurt his best friend, and said “Come Get It”. First of all, that is so badass, and second, he fought for Rey and held his own pretty well. Next, after Finn is sliced almost fatally in the back, Rey gets up and fights with the most passion I’ve ever seen in a Star Wars movies. Remember, this is a women who has never used a lightsaber in her life, so it takes her a bit to get in to it, but then you can start to see the passion in her eyes, the determination in her face. The man she is battling may have just killed her only friend, the only one who’s ever came back for her, the man she loved. When they fight for each other, the outcome is absolutely amazing. Please does us all a favor JJ and have Rey and Finn battle TOGETHER in Episode IX, it would be the most intense and passionate fight in Star Wars history, I guarantee it!

The fact that Rey was about to lie down and die beside Finn, a boy she just met, when the planet they were on was about to explode has got to be the cutest thing ever. She doesn’t search for help, she doesn’t go to find the Falcon or Chewy, and she doesn’t try to find a way to survive or escape, but she does want to spend her last few minutes alive beside the boy she already knows she’s in love with. I love this so much!!! ❤️

Ok y'all I don’t care what you ship, I really don’t. Whatever floats your boat. But I just wanna say that, at least from my point of view, Finnrey is one of the purest ships I’ve ever seen.

Finn and Rey’s scenes together are always the cutest because they’re almost always so happy and excited. I’ve seen people say that Finn and Rey have no chemistry, but that scene in TFA where they were flying the Falcon together by themselves, which is evidently SUPER hard when it’s just two people, shows that they work together very well

I’ve seen posts about their escape from Jakku before they board the Falcon, saying that Finn has no respect for her personal space because he keeps taking her hand. I just wanna say that Finn is obviously concerned for her well being, even though they just met, and given that he knows more about the TIEs they’re running away from, he just wants to make sure she gets away safely. He surely knows she can handle herself, I mean, she chased him down and whacked him with her staff so he knows what she’s capable of. He just cares about her safety.

The scene when they are complimenting each other on the escape and they’re like “You were great! Great shooting!” was the cutest, because this is also their first real introduction to each other.

The scene after the escape when Finn is questioning Rey about why she wants to go back to Jakku makes me laugh because his obvious crush shows so hard. “You got a boyfriend? A cute boyfriend?” and the quick, small look of panic that spreads across his face makes me laugh every single time, dang it.

When Rey saved Finn from the Rathtars by shutting the doors and Finn was like “They got me! -but the door!” just, totally oblivious, and Rey was like “Well that’s lucky!”

On Takodana, when Finn begs Rey to come with him, he tells her the truth about who he really is. He’s just a stormtrooper, not part of the rebellion. He ran away because he’s scared of the Order and he’s seen Starkiller, he knows what they can do. He wants to go far away, where they can’t find him and take him back, and he wants Rey to go with him. He wants to keep her out of trouble because yes, they did just meet, but he already cares for her a lot.

The part where Kylo kidnaps Rey and Finn runs after them, screaming her name will probably always break my heart a little.

The scene where they have the meeting on how to destroy Starkiller but Finn is like “but we have to rescue Rey” “we have to save Rey before the base explodes” is 10 out of 10 the cutest shit.

When Finn finds Rey and Chewie tells her it was Finn’s idea to save her and she hugs him and he just gets this big smile and my heart explodes.

The part when Kylo knocks Rey out and Finn grabs the lightsaber and is ready to fuck him up literally just shows how dedicated Finn is to Rey’s safety. Also, the first time I saw Rey crying in the snow over Finn after running away from Kylo shattered every feeling I’ve ever had into tiny little pieces.

The forehead kiss.

The fact that “Rey” was the first thing Finn said when he woke up and immediately asks where she is. He was ready to defect and find her on his own so he could keep her safe from the Order by warning her not to return to the Resistance because they could track ships through hyperspace.

Their meeting at the end of TLJ, where Rey cracks one of the biggest smiles she’s had since TFA, because she’s done nothing but be disappointed, and she’s just so happy to see them and they hug and they’re smiling and so happy to see each other that it makes me want to scream into the void it’s so cute.

Anyway I could go on forever, but there’s my two cents about Finnrey.

Where it all began. Does anyone else just melt from the way Rey does that little lowkey smile, as if she already knows she’s meeting the man she’s been waiting for all her life. So cute and special!!!

I love how Finn isn’t even phased by Rey lifting up hundreds of rocks with the force, but instead is more focused on the fact that the girl he is madly in love with who he hasn’t seen in a long time, is standing right in front of him. Just looking into her eyes makes him feel at home as he rushes towards her. When he’s around her, she is the one and only thing that matters.

Color in a World of Gray

What if, hypothetically, everyone lives in a colorless world, from the day they were born. We live our life seeing these neautral gray surroundings, but we know nothing else. To us, this is normal, but at the same time we know something is missing. It isn’t until one day when we meet that special person that the world around is engulfed in color and life. We see things we’ve never seen before, and we feel things we’ve never felt before. This is moment when you know you have met the one.

I think this is what happens with Finn and Rey when they first meet on Jakku. It is obvious they have both been living in their gray worlds as they know nothing but being a scavenger and being trained to kill. They have not yet found any purpose yet. Things start to change when Finn looks at Rey from a distance upon seeing her for the first time. He cannot yet see color, but he feels different and can feel a change. Moments later after Finn explains to Rey how he was in possession of Poe’s jacket, he stands up and they share a second or two of just looking at one another. Finn’s looks almost confused as he starts to feel something, something he’s never felt before. Rey smiles slightly, as she feels the same feeling. They start to feel the changes together.

It’s after they escape Jakku when they introduce themselves and gaze in to each other’s eyes where it happens… their worlds are no longer gray, but full of color. They know they have met each other for a reason and that they belong together. The feelings that rush through there bodies so suddenly are the most gracious yet powerful feelings they have ever experienced in their lives. Although they have never felt it before, they knew exactly what it was. It was Love.
