What am I doing in this expansive place? Shopping for dinner with my dear @valeriiaandreeva1847 💖 Officially my fave mall @ibnbattutamall Soooo many … dates! And exotic food items … and all my fave staples too which ended up in the cart… lol. There is even an Armillary Sphere in the Egypt Court. Namesake, Ibn Battuta relied on astronomy to help navigate his journey. The Armillary Sphere is a tool he used to study astronomy. Ibn Battuta, was a Berber Maghrebi scholar and explorer who travelled extensively in the lands of Afro-Eurasia, largely in the Muslim world. He travelled more than any other explorer in pre-modern history, totalling around 117,000 km. Who was at 1994’s BDO ? First time my 90’s band Def FX played with The Smashing Pumpkins - going on the main stage just before them! That tour sparked a good friendship with Billy and I - we took this photo on the last show of the BDO in Auckland. Then in 1996 Def supported the Pumpkins all round Australia - best and most epic time! The Horden Pavilion show in Sydney was one of my faves of all time! So I’m stoked I get to be a fan now and see them and another of my FAVE ol’ bands, Jane's Addiction and one of my fave newbies Amyl and The Sniffers 🤘😝🖤⚡️ I’m goin’ to the Eatons Hill show… which one are you going to? It all started with Tash picking me up in the golf buggy… I knew I was in for a wild, fabulous ride with @thegatheringofthegoddesses 🤩🧡✨ this past weekend!
