“…Senku wondered why Ginro was suddenly quite despondent, but then he understood.

Kohaku's dream of curing Ruri was impossible in a small village with no medical facilities or modern scientific knowledge. The villagers, especially the older ones, probably thought that Kohaku's actions were an exercise in futility; a way in which ignorant youth tried to search every single second for ways to escape death.

However, the goal itself - to save her own flesh and blood - was admirable, and Senku wouldn't have been surprised if her determination and commitment had earned the respect of many people in her community, whether they were vocal about it or not.

Ginro, however, did not have an older sibling who needed his help. And from what he had observed of the man, while Ginro showed irrefutable courage earlier today, he did generally prefer to slack off on his assigned duties.

Such an attitude would not have earned him much respect among the members of his society. The reason he was looking slightly depressed after Senku asked his question was probably because he thought his personal goals weren't as worthy of praise as Kohaku's…”

“…Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" asked Kohaku, frowning in thought.

Senku, who had already recently accused one member of the kingdom of science of not wanting to be left behind for childish reasons, wasn't about to make the same mistake not even twelve hours later.

"Ginro's a guard, and you're using his spear," Kohaku continued, "but we all know I'm the fastest out of all of us. I'd be better at acting quickly if something goes wrong."

Nodding, he replied, "You are the fastest person here, and that's why you have to stay."

At Kohaku's slightly displeased look, Senku continued.

"The Grand Bout's tomorrow, which means this is the last chance the battle team has to train. Ginro's going to join tomorrow too, but he won't stand a chance against Magma anyway, so it's fine if he comes with us today. But you're the only one who can defeat Magma, and Kinro's the only one of us who has a realistic chance of being able to marry Ruri. You both need to be here, training to be stronger and faster, because even though today will be harder for the three of us, tomorrow will be harder for you and Kinro. We can help the most out there, and you can help the most right here, training Kinro…”

My thoughts on Dr. Stone’s S03E15 (“Battle in Three Dimensions”)

(Safe to read for anime-only folks.)

My thoughts after watching Season Three, Episode Fifteen:

01. Mozu probably doesn't get to do a lot of new things very often, so I'm imagining that that must have been fun for him to pretend to be a mysterious warrior to his colleagues XD

02. Today's episode's title is "Battle in Three Dimensions!" :D

03. Ibara and Kirisame look so skeptical in the face of Oarashi's retelling of what happened, hahaha! And I like how they tilted themselves so they wouldn't be covered up by Oarashi's speech bubble!

04. Gen was really on-point with his advice about who Mozu should go for!

05. Wouldn't Kirisame notice that Mozu is wearing an earring very similar to Kohaku's?

06. Kirisame's panicked voice in Senku's planning sounds so cute!

07. It would be a shame if we get the petrification weapon, only to be absolutely stomped by Mozu a second later...

08. It... certainly IS a sick weapon, Chrome :(

09. You know what I like about the collection of gun parts? The little screw thingy near the upper right part of the frame. We could have gone without that detail, but Boichi and anime animators are so dedicated to detail that they included such a small thing as well!

10. Yeah... all the modern-era people would know this weapon, and be extremely wary of it...

11. What's that brown thing between Chrome's neck and arms?

12. Okay, they're going to use something called mercury fulminate. They're going to combine nitric acid, mercury, and alcohol... and make "it" into a detonator...

13. None of the modern-era folks look happy about what they have to use... :(

14. Hmm, so it's been "about three years" since Senku parted ways with Taiju and Yuzuriha that time...

15. Even Senku isn't happy about having to use a gun, even though he's trying to show others the bright side... How must he feel, having to bring guns into the pure world that Byakuya left behind? :(

16. I love how everybody respects the solemnity of the moment, and how Ukyo is still sticking to his core principles, regardless of what's to come!

17. "Somebody whose loved one is killed bears that grudge forever. We take even the enemy for ourselves. To do that, we avoid killing. That's only rational."

18. Ryusui's such a good friend! And... he's SO greedy that he even desires their enemies, hahaha!

19. ...And this is a bit like that time with the cameras. Somebody was talking from their heart, and then Senku says something about the item and the way he says it is so different from the earlier mood XD

20. Now it's Taiju's turn to be so familiar with how Senku is, just like earlier in this cour where it was Senku who knew how Taiju usually operates!

21. This is exactly like what happened to Minami... now it's Yo who has his work tool, despite Chrome's clear objections! Although it's true that he's probably the one most qualified to wield it, with Ukyo being second on that list...

22. Amaryllis sure... can use her skills on command!

23. Shooting glass bottles is such a waste of resources in their situation, though...

24. Senku's the only one who looks like he has a bit of optimism about Yo's skills XD

25. I think the main art for Yo's shooting was better in the manga, partly because we had time to stop and enjoy it, but I really like the clarity that the anime gives us about the details of the gun!

26. Yo actually shot a venomous snake, and got a compliment from Senku... but he was actually going for the bottles! You REALLY need to practice, Yo! XD

27. Okay, we need hoods, the drone, guns, and wires to defeat the Medusa

28. It's nice how they showed how the kingdom of science is getting food... through Amaryllis' thievery from a village's storage hut! And Suika trying on one of the hoods and being cozy reminds me of her enjoying how soft their first batch of cloth was! Hoods... complete!

29. Even Amaryllis knows that declaring she would elope with the loudest drum player is SUCH a stretch... but it worked anyway! Yo got a hang of learning how to use that stone age gun pretty quickly! Guns... complete!

30. Wow, their lab is much taller than I thought it was XD

31. Magma, Nikki, and Kinro from the power team have been revived... and Kinro's VERY first instinct was to search for Ginro! :'( He's such a good brother!

32. Good misdirect with that teardrop falling into the water... but we ALL know that came from Kinro :( But Amaryllis and Senku told him that thanks to Kohaku, Ginro is still alive! :)

33. That was a pretty obvious shine in Senku's eyes while he was talking about the danger the lead spearman would be in... he's not saying so, but he's genuinely worried for Kinro!

34. ...I don't understand why Taiju thought why he and Magma needed to practice tugging a rope XD But I guess it was just to lead into the new carbon wire they were making! Wires... complete!

35. Chrome was all fired up about utilizing the gyroscopic effect, and Senku played along... until he didn't. He is SUCH a troll, haha!

36. A wirewound variable resistor... it's nice of them to give us the terminology!

37. "You'd need to be good at steering and at reading the wind. Who's..."

38. Of course this is up to you and your pro-gamer skills, Ryusui! That bit of information from a while back really paid off! Drone... complete!

39. Yo and Ryusui are enjoying their new goodies, but Magma looks interested in that gun...

40. "The cliff of the howling seas" is a pretty awesome name for a place!

41. We have Gen, Chrome, Ukyo, Senku, Yuzuriha, and Amaryllis as our fake spearmen, and Kinro as our real spearman!

42. Hey, is that warrior behind and to the right of Oarashi... okay? His eyes... he looks dead inside -_- He's just totally over it...

43. Who decided to make Suika a spearman? XD Maybe she's also doubling as a possible messenger or reconnaissance officer?

44. First Kinro earlier, then Ibara now... these zoom in shots are... weird... :O

45. Ukyo and Chrome reassuring Suika... aww, so sweet! :)

46. This is so weird. When I read the manga, I probably imagined a clear, sunny day, not a super foggy morning. But this does make sense considering their need to hide, so maybe the time of day was mentioned in the manga and I just forgot.

47. Soyuz is probably there to be back-up defense for Ryusui and Yo, who will need to be completely focused on their own tasks...

48. Amaryllis, Yuzuriha, Suika, Chrome, Kinro, Ukyo, and Senku... and their hidden allies all around... against the most powerful warriors of the petrification kingdom! :O

49. Ah, there's the sunlight I imagined!

50. "I'll handle this. Indeed, it isn't for a silly deal this time. It's for a true battle. For myself. With this golden, sun-colored spear prepared for me by the Kingdom of Science... I will protect us!"

51. Arrgh, Kinro's strong, inspiring resolve is awesome! :D He's not the only warrior in their current group, because Ukyo is there with them, but Kinro IS the only spear user, and a lot of the responsibility for the success of their part of the plan rests on his shoulders. This is very much like that scene in the Grand Bout, when he knew he couldn't lose because he was fighting for his friends! :) We believe in you, Kinro! :D The title of the next episode is "Total War," which is... wow! That's very... very clear! :O

“…A few minutes later, they arrived at the base of an elevated hut of some sort, and Chrome, with the ease of somebody who had done so an uncountable number of times in the past, quickly went up the ladder, gathered some items, and made his way back down. On his way back to them, Chrome collected some firewood from the forest nearby, and shortly after he joined them again, he had a blazing bonfire ready.

As for what the bonfire was actually for... that was something that Chrome didn't seem to excited about.

"Check out my s-" he coughed again, "I mean, check out my sorcery! Ah, I can't believe I have to call it that again..."

For somebody who should have been proud of his opening attack in their "sorcery battle," Chrome was blushing in embarrassment as he dropped three different types of materials into the bonfire…”

That was one of the unsettling things about this whole affair. Persephone, who had minimal contact with Calliope at best, was suddenly full of zeal during their investigation, looking into every corner of the new Muse's apartment for clues, pacing back and forth while growling that there had to be something they missed. Her attitude reminded Apollo of a cat who was waving its tail back and forth with great agitation…”

My thoughts on Dr. Stone’s S03E14 (“Deal Game, Test of Wit”)

(Safe to read for anime-only folks.)

My thoughts after watching Season Three, Episode Fourteen:

01. Why, Kirisame, why? :(

02. A second look at the Medusa, and at Kohaku and Ginro's heroism! They're absolutely correct to have completely faith in Senku and their friends!

03. The stars in this opening song are honestly just GORGEOUS...

04. It's very cool how in the previous two times we saw the opening song, Kohaku and Ginro's petrified statues are in shadow, because the scene would have been a spoiler - but now that it's happened, we see a different, more colorful version of the shot and it clearly shows them now. Awesome detail, animators! :D

05. The title of this episode is, "Deal Game, Test of Wit!" :)

06. Yuzuriha has been revived! Taiju's so respectful!

07. Gen's right - she's so good and fast with those stone statue puzzles now!

08. Chrome's back, and Kaseki's now very confident that he and Chrome are maker buddies!

09. It was very sweet of Suika to make a paper hat for Ukyo... who has also now been revived!

10. Umm... thanks for the close-up shot of Kohaku, Ginro, and GINRO'S BLOOD having just been turned to stone... :'( Also, how did they get into that pose, when Kohaku's face was clearly apart from Ginro's body while they were turning to stone?

11. Everybody looks sad and concerned, but Chrome looks agitated, and Senku... whoa, look at his right eye! :O That is a serious, SERIOUS expression! He means BUSINESS!

12. (Although... I THINK his fist was clenched in the manga...?)

13. Would have liked it if Suika had expressed a bit more concern about Kohaku... She just dove right into the Soyuz information XD

14. The five wise generals are off! They're gonna collate their information, and strategize about the next course of action... and... four of them are going to explain to Chrome how they know there's only one Medusa...

15. I like how Chrome pushed everybody's panels apart while he was asking for clarification XD

16. "He runs the show" shouldn't be an idiom that Chrome would use... There's theater shows, but still, I don't think he'd be casually using that idiom... AND Amaryllis agreed. I suppose the Japanese dialogue probably directly translates to something else, and this was just the closest phrase meaning-wise?

17. Mozu! And Taiju!

18. He is speaking so languidly... he really is not threatened at all by the kingdom of science. And I'm so glad Taiju can protect Senku and Yuzuriha this time, by putting himself between them and the enemy! Although he MAY have done that in the second season as well; I should check sometime...

19. Before, it was Ryusui, and now, it's Ukyo who's the one who is thinking to get at least one person out alive!

20. Don't feel bad, Amaryllis! The kingdom of science really need the information you gave them! Of course you had to come!

21. Good job, Chrome! :) You intuition is totally baad! :D

22. It's just weird how smooth and curved and cartoonish Mozu is the anime. He felt like a huge, powerful threat in the manga, but here... I don't know; the way he's drawn makes him seem a bit goofy?

23. Poor Gen... XD It's up to you! Everybody's lives are depending on you!

24. Senku, shh! You might get us all killed! XD

25. Manipulation technique #00: "Pretend your weak card is your ace of spades!"

26. Manipulation technique #01: "People feel more solidarity with you if you're next to them, not opposite them!"

27. Manipulation technique #02: "Try saying something that's a little bit off-the-mark. The urge to correct you will be so strong that they might sign on to something they never intended to!"

28. (Hah! Mozu's power may be one hundred, but according to the arithmetic battle, Kohaku's is one thousand! :D ...Of course, I think the old system also put Ginro at one hundred, so... um... maybe they're not using the same units... XD)

29. ...See, that Mozu frame was supposed to look menacing, but he just looks so silly in the anime for some reason...

30. I suppose that glowing aura around the Medusa makes it otherworldly, but there's NO way Ibara would hold it while it was still glowing XD He's much too cautious to do that!

31. Does Mozu have the same voice actor as Tsukasa? Their voices sound a bit alike...

32. This hidden, almost-evil-looking face of Gen's is like the face he made in Season One, when he had the idea to get everybody in Ishigami Village to make a telescope for Senku's birthday! :)

33. Manipulation technique #03: "It's called psychological reactance. When you feel like you're being forced to do things, your need to maintain control causes you to reject things!"

34. What is that tied-up part on the back of Ukyo's clothing...?

35. Manipulation technique #03.1: "The way to win a deal isn't to make the other person feel defeated. It's to show servitude, setting out a false red carpet for them and stuff. That's what really matters!"

36. Oooh, Senku and Mozu are shaking hands, formalizing their (super temporary, haha) alliance!

37. It's cute that Mozu was really surprised out when he heard Senku's voice through the earring - and very understandable!

38. He's so extra; he has to be ROWED back XD

39. Gen was so worried and relieved... but he did an AMAZING job negotiating for the kingdom of science, and more importantly, for his friends! :D He's such a talented mentalist and manipulator! :O

40. And Chrome's just like, "Well, as long as Mozu's planning on killing us LATER instead of RIGHT NOW, we're good!" XD

41. Gen totally deserves all the congratulations, and a very long, relaxing break!

42. "Mozu joined the party (for now)!!" And he beat up his fellow Treasure Islanders (which Gen seemed to approve of XD) in order to make them believe that he's an even stronger warrior than... himself, hahaha!

43. And that's it for this episode! Gen was, without a doubt, ten billion percent the MVP for this episode; his negotiation tactics were incredible! :O I have a theory about the episode after this one. I can't talk about it now because it would be spoilery, but I will when it's safe to do so! The next episode's title is "Battle in Three Dimensions," and it's going to air tonight! :)

“…Against all odds, Senku had found a fellow scientist in the stone world, and that scientist had become his friend.

And unfortunately, Senku's friends seemed to have the very irritating quality of being very eager to risk their lives - Taiju had volunteered to take Tsukasa's blows repeatedly in order to prevent him from murdering petrified statues… Yuzuriha had taken Tsukasa's spear and pointed it at her own neck to prevent her from killing Senku… Kohaku had defended him from Kinro and Ginro; she had, nobly but still recklessly, saved Ginro from poisonous sulfuric gas; and had been too willing to place herself in danger to gather the sulfuric acid herself.

It just wasn't logical for yet another friend of Senku's to also endanger himself tomorrow. Senku was a scientist, too - and the more experienced scientist, with more knowledge about sulfuric acid, at that.

One life, Senku's life, was all they needed to risk. They didn't need to add Chrome's life as well…”

My thoughts on Dr. Stone’s S03E13 (“The Medusa's True Face”)

(Safe to read for anime-only folks.)

My thoughts after watching Season Three, Episode Thirteen:

01. Time to get Kaseki back - and after that, it's drone time!

02. This episode's title is, "The Medusa's True Face!" :O

03. Gen's right that the way Senku is going about this is a little too unceremonious... and if I were Kaseki, I don't think I'd like having that mark on my back!

04. Taiju can hold his breath for a few minutes?! Everybody else is shocked at how casually he thinks of a few hundred trips, but Senku wasn't surprised at all! :)

05. Hmm, "buckle;" Gen used that word in relation to Senku and Byakuya before, too... now it's for Senku and Taiju...

06. Suika, nooo! Don't say "poop hole!!" XD

07. Kaseki has been revived! It's adorable how Suika's copying his hand and body gestures, just like she did with Senku before! :)

08. He had such confidence in his friends and comrades!

09. Senku knew that the kelp would work just fine, because he knew Kaseki would explode after finding out about the drone project! But then Kaseki's cheerfulness took a hit when he saw the state the mobile lab car was in...!

10. They probably collected the bird feathers while they were out, after they learned more about the petrification weapon... I'll have to pinpoint exactly when someday...

11. Leonardo da Vinci was an art genius AND a science genius; that was one lucky dude!

12. That's a really smart way to separate those small metal balls by size!

13. I like how the anime gives us a much better idea of the passage of time. The cave is darker now, so it seems to be nighttime during the time Taiju and Soyuz are coming back to the others :)

14. Ryusui was so sentimental as he looked at Chrome, Francois, and Ukyo... and then this random dude is thrown into the mix and the music disappears and he's just like, "Who?" Perfect comedic timing by the anime! :D

15. And then after they talk about the random guy a bit, the touching music starts up again, hahaha! XD

16. Kaseki's reveal of the working drone was cooler in the manga, but this is good too! :)

17. Don't worry, Ginro! Kohaku believes in you! You can do it! :D

18. Oooh, Mozu...!

19. As if Kohaku would reveal anything about her friends! :O

20. Ginro, you have a secret pineapple weapon, so you're not there unarmed! And you're talking like a man again; please get it together, or you might be discovered!

21. "Oh-so-lovingly?" Ibara's so creepy... :O

22. Oh, good, Kohaku has a weapon! It looks like a butcher knife, but it's still a weapon! And she defeated thirteen people in just a few seconds!

23. They really made Mozu look protective of Kohaku in the anime, didn't they? First the selection, and now this fight!

24. Wow, looks like they teach teleportation on Treasure Island... XD

25. The best of the petrification kingdom versus the best of the kingdom of science!

26. Ginro was motivated not by the thought of helping everybody get information, but by the thought that Kohaku might kill him if he wasted his chance to find out something useful XD

27. The master of the island is a petrified statue...

28. Finally, Ibara's as menacing as he was in the manga! Well, closer, anyway. The anime made him really soft and silly, but now he's closer to what he originally was. Although... that's really bad news for Ginro...

29. So compared to Kohaku, Mozu is THAT strong?! Dozens of her wouldn't be able to beat him? That can't be... right? :O And I like how the anime gives a clearer picture of how the fight is going!

30. The flower petals falling off of Kohaku... I wonder if they're supposed to be a substitute for blood? Like they're a symbol of how outmatched she is?

31. "I like strong girls, too, as long as they have a pretty face. What kind of men do you like, Kohaku-chan? How about me? I'm strong."

32. "Strength is strength of mind. To be able to continue hammering a wedge for as long as it takes to carry out one's will. That's the kind of man I'm drawn to. Well, this is a problem, Moz. You seem to be the exact opposite."

33. "You're so cute, Kohaku-chan. But you aren't cute."

34. Sooo... I'm glad we've finally arrived at this scene, but the translation... it was SO MUCH BETTER in the manga! It was SO clear that Kohaku was talking about Senku, because she said something incredibly similar to him the day they met! Argh, why did they use THESE English subtitles for this scene? I know exactly how this was supposed to go, but the way they worded it... ah, well, I hope people can still see who Kohaku truly meant...!

35. Okay, so Ibara has confirmed that he has straight-up murdered previous harem members because they saw the master of the island... yikes! It was a good idea for Ginro to jump away from him, but the fact that he was actually able to jump from that height and come out unscathed is impressive!

36. Ack, don't distract Kohaku, Ginro! Can't you see she's fighting an extremely powerful enemy?! -_-

37. But I guess that had to happen so that Kohaku could see exactly HOW Ginro was injured... Ibara's weapons are horrifying!

38. Oh, Ginro... :(

39. With his last breath, he's giving Kohaku the information he discovered... I've watched this before, but this is STILL made me cry. again... :O

40. Kohaku is incredible. The master's house is probably the tallest point in the whole tree infrastructure thing going on. Ginro jumped DOWN from that to flee from Ibara; then he was stabbed in multiple places and fell DOWN past where Kohaku had been fighting Mozu...

41. ...and then after receiving Ginro's information, she carries him in her arms; speaks briefly to Amaryllis; runs on the wooden platform; jumps UP thick tree branches; runs UP an almost completely vertical wooden platform; runs UP a gigantic tree trunk; and jumps UP to the island master's rooftop.

42. From the time she started running, she already knew what she had to do - and not only was it a great personal risk, but it also required incredible speed and athleticism, and this was AFTER she had just fought a very powerful enemy (who seemed to have just vanished, hahaha)!

43. Nobody seems to want to indulge what I think the Medusa looks like. Because I read the manga, I imagined it to be grey, like stone. Then later on, I think I saw a colorized version of that panel that somebody had made, and they had colored the Medusa green...

44. ...And NOW in the official anime, it's blue (sort of metallic blue, but still blue, unless it's just reflecting the color around it), but it turns green when activated. Am I the only one who thought it was grey??

45. (Also, they missed something in the process just before they fully lit up the Medusa's petrifying light, but maybe they want to show it later?)

46. Kohaku knew she had to make them petrify them so that Ginro could be saved... :'( Just like how Byakuya passed the baton to his descendants, Kohaku passed the baton to Amaryllis... You know an ending scene is EPIC when they're playing the ending song over it... :O

47. Her last thought was of Senku! :D She has so much faith in him and in science and their friends! :O

48. Well, at least we get part of the ending song, and see Kohaku coming home to Senku... :)

49. What an episode! So much bravery and strength and love, especially from Ginro and Kohaku! While I wasn't happy with how they translated that scene I mentioned, that doesn't take away from the courage they both showed in the last scene... they were incredible! :O The next episode's title is going to be "Deal Game, Test of Wit," and it's going to air tonight! I can't wait to see Senku's reaction to Amaryllis' news! :O

Kohaku blinked at him in bewilderment, but Ginro, lost in his speech, continued.

"When you're scared, just let me know and I'll carry you to safety! Just hold on as tightly as you want to my powerful body…"

He trailed off then, mumbling and grinning as he stared into space, and it was clear to Senku - and probably Kohaku as well, judging by the incredulous look she gave the guard - that Ginro was lost in some sort of damsel in distress fantasy that involved carrying an affectionate and grateful Kohaku in his arms while Ginro, the vigorous and powerful bodyguard, hugged her close to his body as he stayed vigilant against all danger…”

My thoughts on Dr. Stone’s S03E12 (“The Kingdom of Science's Counterattack”)

My thoughts after watching Season Three, Episode Twelve:

01. Hello, Episode Twelve! :D Hmm, is it just me, or are the colors a little TOO vibrant right now?

02. The Kingdom of Science's Kohaku, Gen, Senku, Suika, Ryusui, and Soyuz versus the Petrification Kingdom's Mozu, Kirisame, Ibara, Oarashi, and additional person! :O

03. This opening song sounds so beautiful and melancholy! The first words are clearly asking "Why..." I can't wait until I find the English version of the lyrics!

04. Kohaku hugged Senku in the opening song!! :D

05. As a manga reader, I appreciate the things I saw in the opening song! The animation was very beautifully done - the stars everywhere really gave a sense of "the beyond," in terms of goals, faith, and love :)

06. And we have the title of Season Three, Episode Twelve... "The Kingdom of Science's Counterattack!"

07. They have SOME revival fluid... but the bad guys are throwing away the petrified statues and pieces of the kingdom of science! :O

08. Ibara's SMART! He deduced Ryusui's (presumed) status just from his clothes! AND he's using his petrified statue to test the newcomers to the palace - Kohaku and the others!

09. Ooh, dangerous... Ibara already knows her name, and Oarashi has already talked to her as well, but seeing her leap, kick, and punch like a skilled warrior is bound to cause some suspicion...

10. I know why Kohaku had to smash Ryusui's statue like that, but it couldn't have been easy for her... And it certainly wasn't easy for Suika to get deliveries of pieces of his statue, either! :O

11. Hahaha! I love how it was Kohaku's voice we heard with Ryusui's face and (imaginary) words! She knows him so well - that's exactly what he would say!

12. I do like the manga version of the moment a little better, though. It's pretty much the same, except she kind of, like, held a part of his statue almost tenderly and said, "That's what Ryusui is saying." I liked that it was like she was thinking of him being able to think in that state. Maybe it just looked tender to me because reading manga is slower than watching anime, but it was still a sweet moment!

13. Suika made him a paper captain's hat; aww! She's so sweet!

14. "What we're witnessing now is the real de-pretrification reaction." Wow... :O

15. When Ryusui was revived, his second sentence seemed to be exactly what Kohaku imagined it would be, hahaha! XD And yay, we have Ryusui back with us! :D

16. Suika's so happy to see Ryusui back with them, safe and sound! :) AND Ryusui acknowledged her as an accomplished warrior of the Kingdom of Science! :O

17. I wonder if the kite/drone joke worked out as well in the anime as it did in the manga with the manga sound effects? Maybe the Japanese word for "kite" sounds close to the Japanese word for "nope?"

18. Even Ryusui thought their ambitious plan was TOO ambitious!

19. I wonder how they made the straw boat thing they're using right now?

20. Hahaha, Ryusui knew who had the physical ability to help him search underwater for their friends... and he also knew who did NOT! XD

21. I love how Senku was thinking of Kohaku when he suggested underwater scuba diving! :D I HAVE to check whether this was in the manga - I hope it was! XD

22. Senku has made oxygen cylinders like this before?! :O So his probably held up to one hundred atmospheres... whatever THAT means... and blew up a month later...

23. I like how humble Senku is. He knows that Kaseki is their genius craftsman, and acknowledges openly that he himself is just an amateur! "The clunky look makes it endearing;" hahaha!

24. Senku and Ryusui tried to pass of their faith-filled statements as their believing in Kaseki's skills, but Gen knows what it's all about!

25. Wow! I am probably going to have to figure out how they got into that position due to making oxygen tanks... but that's a problem for future me! XD

26. Oxygen tanks acquired! And Mozu seems so cheerful and easygoing. Always smiling and stuff! I guess he's chill guy when he's... not being NOT chill!

27. They found Kaseki, but can't pull him out! I wonder why they didn't try digging around him to loosen him from the sand? ...Oh, they did, haha!

28. "We're buddies. We don't need words." Great teamwork from everybody!

29. So they don't need to be stuck together with adhesive to be complete when they get revived! Or maybe it's because their statues were broken so recently, and no weathering had taken place yet?

30. That's SUCH a risk...! And Ryusui may have been the first one to be revived twice, but Taiju was the first one to be revived underwater!

31. I don't know how Taiju sucked up that air, but... I guess he did somehow! I am just REALLY glad that I won't have to write about these details, because Senku's up there on the surface!

32. "Talking isn't what's important! We're a team. We can communicate without words, just with our hearts!" Taiju unknowingly echoed Gen's sentiments from earlier!

33. "I hear your heart." Okay, they're just straight up communicating telepathically now XD

34. They were able to get back to the surface! Ryusui, Soyuz, Kaseki's statue... and Taiju! :O

35. The ending song is about Kohaku! KOHAKU!!! Her perched on the priestess' hit, her pouring hot spring water for Ruri's bath - with her hair untied! Her hair looks wild and beautiful and untamed! :D

36. Tying her hair; walking; carrying a basket on her back... Chalk, Suika, and Sagara... Mirai and Nikki... Seeing Suika and Chalk watching Sagara enjoying himself... Gathering fruit with Nikki...

37. Smiling while gathering fruit; walking to the Persus with the others; enjoying eating fruit with everybody... A new shell necklace...

38. Going back home to the village... To Ruri, Kaseki, Chrome, and Senku... Senku SMILING at Kohaku, and Kohaku smiling back at him...! ^_^ I think this might be the first single character-focused Dr. Stone opening/ending theme ever! And it was about KOHAKU! Coming home to SENKU! :D

39. (But... I'll admit that I don't quite remember Season Three, Part One's ending song, so...)

40. Oh, I am REALLY looking forward to learning what the ending theme's lyrics mean! :D

41. The next episode's title is "The Medusa's True Face!" :O I don't have a lot of questions right now, because as a manga reader, I know what's coming... That title is pretty telling... :O
