Alright, I’ve been gone for a while, but I feel the need to talk about this. I understand not every doctor is doing this, but I couldn’t care less. I’m a woman who requires drugs like methotrexate just to function normally and be healthy. I understand some people may be able to homeopathically treat their conditions, but I cannot. I have a rare autoimmune disease called Lichen Planus, and when I have a flare-up, I get scaly sores all over my skin that are so painful that just wearing clothing hurts. Light therapy never worked, creams never worked, it’s only by suppressing my immune system that I could go a few years at best pain-free. And I don’t even have it the worst out of everyone with autoimmune conditions. Methotrexate is medically necessary for some people! Every autoimmune patient is slightly different. What if methotrexate is literally the only medication that works for them? The hell you gonna do then, doc? This just proves to me that there are so many people that don’t care if they’ve never had to deal with a certain condition. I’ve had to deal with it for over a decade, and I can’t even begin to imagine how much worse it is for those with conditions like RA and Lupus. My heart goes out to all of you being affected by this.

I’m also a person who needs birth control in order to not develop amenorrhea, but that’s a whole other ball game.

Ok but on a more serious note: tumblr literally says we can monetize fanart and fanfiction and I don't know if they are flat out stupid or if they don't care about their users (it's probably both) but holy shit those are hundreds of serious lawsuits waiting to happen for the love of god don't do that

Hell yeah. It’s one thing with my grandparents and uncles b/c we’ll all be fully vaccinated by the end of this month (and even then I’ll still be cautious) but you can’t just trust the word of some stranger

Do not hurt yourself, do not hurt others, get help, talk to someone, anyone. Humanity has survived before and we can do it now if we all just support each other. My country and my people let me down and endangered my life but there’s nothing I or anyone else can do about that so let’s try to spread the love that is so clearly lacking.
