Haven’t been posting about the MRD AU lately so here you go

For Wednesday, you get some Boxtrolls AU Dadnic

Recently re-watched the Boxtrolls and might have accidentally made another AU in the process

Anyways have some doodles, the AU isn’t fully fledged yet so I’m having some struggles, specifically with the names, but I’m sure I’ll be fine, If you haven’t watched the movie and plan to watch it I guess this post has some light spoilers, so best be warned

Currently debating if I should call Sonic Boot or Sneaker, Boot seems like the most likely option out of the two but Sneaker has a nice ring to it

idiot is one of the speedier ones (to no surprise) and tries to save as many boxtrolls (or whatever I’m going to call them in this AU) as he can, sadly he isn’t too successful given he himself has to hide too

He kind of takes Fish’s role, I tend to have some creative liberties with these AUs so instead of having him get kidnapped, Tails gets ‘napped instead, speak of the devil,

Might call him Coin-flip or something around those lines, he doesn’t get the cool yellow eyes since he’s a regular mobian that got adopted by Sneakers, he pretty much takes Eggs’s role, instead of the Trubshaw baby, except it’s the Prower baby this time around

And Gloves, much like the last ones, the name isn’t solid yet, aside from that he kind of takes Shoe’s role, not much else to say so far aside from his attitude

he does (try to) comfort Sneakers after Coin-flip gets snatched by the Red hats (AKA Eggman and his lackeys in this AU) but ends up having Sneakers run off to go find his brother, task failed successfully I guess

I’ll try my best to juggle these AUs, mostly since I tend to be unpredictable, I should probably get working on some of the MRD AU stuff

as an apology, have more MRD AU designs

Rouge, Basically made her arms the wings, she looked weird without the suit so ima just say she found it and kept it, she’s an escape artist but always returns back to the cages since she can’t open doors, besides, if she were to get out of there she’d want the others to also go with her

Cream and cheese, surprise surprise, she’s taller than sonic

since Chao aren’t actual animals, had to settle for making Cheese a beetle, they just randomly flew in the lab one day and stayed with Cream, the others probably have mixed opinions about cheese

Now for the guests of honor:

The Chaotix

Espio’s got some yarn spools to try and mimic the ninja bracelets or whatever they are, I think they might be the only character in this AU with an actual weapon

This kid. All I need to say drawing him was a nightmare, who knew a little bee was going to be so hard to design, he’s a little ball of sunshine tho, gotta give him that

And of course, we couldn’t forget about Vector, since I doubt anyone in their right mind would put headphones on a crocodile, he’s got a tracking collar instead, the neighborhood is oddly chill having this guy walking about, couldn’t get rid of the chain necklace, fit him too well

Sonic is taking Mad Rat’s role (Main character dilemma)

Shadow and Tails kind of Share Heart’s role

Post-game Tails (most of the spoiler warning is thanks to him)

Ames and Knucks, kind of taking the Mob Rats’ place, while being a bit more relevant, Cream, Vanilla and Rouge and some other characters are also supposed to be here but I haven’t drawn them yet

Big is Big, and a bit more relevant lore wise for reasons I have yet to post, all you need to know is this guy adopted a certain yellow fox, he’s not taking any specific role, he was supposed to take Jack’s role but Blaze fit it better, talking about her—

Here is the feisty kitty herself, she’s a little menace and a hunter, I’m kind of debating if she should be littermates with Big, mostly because she’s tryna cheer him up after his adopted kit went missing the only way she knows how to, dead rodents.

Maria is taking the Little girl’s role, If you already know what happens in the game, this shouldn’t be too much of a surprise

Please do ask questions about this AU, I’d be glad to answer them to the best of my ability, mostly because I like feedback, sorry if anything was blurry
