The six main political groups, I see an American politics right now

1, The brunchers,

these people are freaking out about Trump and his gang, However they believe in a couple years they can just vote for somebody else. if Trump weren't to be in office they would just be having brunch enjoying the status quo and are very upset that Trump broke that status quo. They disagree with Republicans and conservatives but they don't dislike them and believe working with them is a crucial part of how this country runs, they basically just hate Trump and his gang, As well as any protest that isn't just middle-class white suburban people sitting on the side of the road with signs being non-aggressive, which is to say they loved the no King's protest.

2, The leftists

They've been disliking the way Americans been gone for a long time. they are definitely hate Trump in his gang, However, they feel that neoliberalism capitalism colonialism has already been making this country terrible. The goal is not to return to the status quo for them, The goal is to make a new better world. They see Luigi as a folk hero and probably daydream about a possible Mario as they probably have to reconsider their opinions of guns. They probably felt disappointed about the no King's protest that it was mostly just the brunchers but hey, at least they're helping a bit right?

3, The nothing ever happens crowd

These people believe that nothing ever happens, that you shouldn't be concerned about the news at all because nothing will actually change in your life, these people can say this because they are neurotypical middle class white cisgender straight abledbodyd folks who honestly probably won't be affected by the news too much, However, I would be interested to see them try to explain this ideology to a trans person.

4, The apocalizers

These people believe that this is the start of world war III, that they are probably going to get drafted, They're making memes and jokes about this. However, it's slowly becoming less of a meme and joke in their head many of them seem to be absolutely terrified though hiding it behind the lit memes. They are also probably like 12.

5, The at least it's not Kamala crowd

These people probably voted for Donald Trump because they thought it would lower the price of living It has not and he does seem to be doing actively damaging policies. However, in their mind a woman of color being in charge is much much worse, any criticism of trump can be responded with "At least he isn't Kamala" because clearly Kamala would have led us into a nuclear winter or some thing.

6, Maga

They are fucking loving this shit and thank the other groups are all delusional, clearly Donald Trump is playing five-dimensional chess with multiplayer time travel, and everything will be okay and perfect again even though it's taking maybe a bit longer than they expected. They don't just believe he's a good politician, they also seem to believe that he is in fact the best person who has ever existed at least in recent history and are fully part of his cult of personality.
