This set of photos were shot at Dakota Crescent, an estate comprising of 17 low-rise rental blocks built by the Singapore Improvement Trust in 1958, known affectionately as the "seven-storey houses". Dakota Crescent was named in memory of the Dakota DC-3 aircraft that crashed at Kallang Airport in 1946. To date, all residents have vacated their units and the estate is slated to be torn down soon.
