A rare ancient Mandir dedicated to Bhagwan Murugan in the avatar of Subramanya. Located near the Shesh parvat is the Kukkesubramanya Mandir amidst the dense forests of the western ghats in Kadaba, Karnataka.

People who believe they are not conceiving becos of Naag dosha (karmic sin against snakes) pray to Him for offspring. He is Naaga-bandha Mayuraa. Conqueror of snakes who rides a peacock (Mayur). Interestingly peacock is immune to snake venom.
