The Ties That Bind Us - Chapter 2: Bigmouth Strikes Again

“Charlessssss...”

The word slithers through the darkness, low and raspy, echoing inside his skull.

His head pounds, the pain sharp and relentless. He tries to move, but his limbs feel heavy as if submerged underwater.

He’s drowning. He has to be. He must be.

Sooooo I wrote that DBD x SPN Au I’ve been thinking about… So here’s the first chapter:

The rain always seems to fall harder on school grounds than at home—or at least, that’s what Edwin thinks.

It’s like the place sucks up the cold and droplet’s like a sponge.

Enough so that he’s happy he had taken a coat from his dorm to chase away the winter weather. However, like always, it does nothing to prevent the utter misery and monotony of the place.

It’s as if Mother Nature herself knows how god-awful St. Hilarion’s is.

Expecting more of the same misery, he finds an unexpected comfort in fading to the background. With his future predetermined as a Man of Letters, he dreams of escaping to join his father in the fight against the supernatural. But when he crosses paths with Charles, his loyalties and beliefs are put to the test.

For Charles, a longing for normalcy has finally seemed within reach at St. Hilarions. Yet, a fateful night threatens everything he thought he knew about himself and plunges him into the world of the supernatural.

After all, one fateful night can connect anyone, right

So about that SPN x DBD Au, it finally has a name! Dark Ties AU:

And I currently and am in the planning stages with about 24 chapters total and one chapter already done!

The following is the basic idea of the beginning for our mains:

Starting out in Winter of 1989, Edwin Payne had recently transferred to St. Hilarions a few months before, following an incident where his last bullies attempted to scare him by sacrificing him to a demon. It didn’t work, but he won’t admit that the incident did leave a mark on him. Having been raised by only father, he had been raised with knowledge of the Occult and Supernatural as his bloodline and his father are prominent members of the British Men of Letters. While a great man of letters his father is difficult… but he is still set to one day follow in his father’s footsteps and join the organization’s fight against the supernatural and threats which endanger humanity. Opting to stick to his books and practice his magic during his breaks, his life is changed when he unwittingly comes upon the Cricket Team stoning a student at the school’s lake. When he follows the team he sees a display of something supernatural that he can’t explain, leaving him to encounter the Cricket Team’s star player, Charles Rowland.

On the other hand, Charles Rowland is at St. Hilarions on scholarship and has always tried his best to fit in. Something he’s found very difficult given his background, but he’s managed fine for a few years, getting decent grades and being great at Cricket. Raised by his Mom, haunted by the death of his father when he was six months old, and his step-father/uncle who is abusive and blames him for his father’s death. He’s always wanted to make them proud still. This becomes difficult as after his 16 birthday he starts to have really vivid and horrific dreams about blood and flames and yellow eyes. He ignores them, dismissing them as merely night terrors. It isn’t tell his best mates almost stone him to death that he discovers maybe others were right to say he wasn’t normal… that perhaps they saw something he didn’t.

The whole story will however follow both of theirs journey into the supernatural world as Edwin starts to see it in a different light and Charles is forced to come to terms to where he fits in it. all All while the pair are being pursued by both the Men of Letters and evil forces. But will their new relationship be enough to save each other from their destinies?

Also trust me Crystal and Niko will be a part of this story, I already have that part mostly planned, but don’t want to reveal everything just yet. ;)

A Dead Boy Detectives x SPN Au?

It’s 1989 and Edwin Payne comes from a long line of Men that were members of the British Men of Letters. His father, while cold, has been teaching him about the occult for as long as he can remember, preparing him to eventually join the organization. While the organization has been successful in dealing with many monster attacks, a recent surge in demonic activity in the country and around the world prove concerning. Edwin wants to help the organization, but is still told he is too young, so his days he is still a student at St. Hilarions, a school he transferred to after an incident where some boys attempted to sacrifice him to Hell. Luckily, Edwin had the proper demonic wards on him to prevent him actually going there. He keeps to himself at the school, preferring his books over talking to his classmates. This all changes when he sees a student running from other boys one night, dripping wet, and he sees something he can’t explain, something which at first scares him but he still follows him. In the attic, he meets Charles Rowland.

Charles’s biological father died in a fire when he was 6 months old, a fire that went off in his nursery. His mother swears she saw something but no one ever believed her, they just called her crazy, a woman carrying with her the superstitions of her country. His mom remarried, his step-father, Paul Rowland. A real piece of shit that Charles hates but wants to approval from… he just wants him to love him. So, he does Cricket, he plays rugby, he plays all types of sports and he’s great at it! He even gets a scholarship to go to St. Hilarions, and even if his step-dad is… rough. He lets him go and he thinks that maybe he could be great. But then on his 16th birthday things start to get weird… like okay he’s always gotten night terrors as a kid but now he’s seeing things, like yellow eyes and it’s fine right? Yeah it’s fine. It just happens sometimes and then a lot of the times but he’s cool. Then, he starts to feel more eyes on him at school then usual, but ignores it. And then he’s being thrown into a lake after defending a Pakistani student and he’s soaking wet, his ribs hurt, he coughs and blood coats his tongue and his head is POUNDING, but the boys are chasing after him and he runs and runs and runs… they catch up to him and there’s this something in his chest that builds and builds and builds as they grab at him and he struggles and… suddenly they let go off him, suddenly his body feels less full but there’s a dull sensation in his head and blood coming down his nose and the boys are thrown around and the ones still awake look proper terrified so he runs. He needs a place to hide.

Apparently fans harassed Jayden so badly about the price of the cameos that he released this message on discord -

That's heartbreaking. George's cameos started at $50 so why would anyone be surprised that it would be double for George AND Jayden. Second, the show we are all here for and love was CANCELLED. These are two working actors who were let go from Netflix who need an income just as much as the rest of us. Yes IMO it IS a gift for them to interact with us, AND they deserve to be paid for their time.

For Jayden to go from "keep screaming keep shouting" to being done with the DBDA fandom. Damn. Whoever was harassing him should frankly buy a cameo just to apologize. The entitlement of a person thinking cameos should be cheap just because they want one is toddler behavior. And then harassing Jayden about it is not ok, at all. Online bullying of celebrities is not ok. I hope Jayden enjoys his cameos and his fun with George and goes on to live his best life.
