Ben & Jerry’s is making a chocolate chip cookie dough-flavored beer

The famous ice cream company has teamed up with Colorado-based beer maker New Belgium Brewing to turn a popular pint flavor into a unique beer. The result is a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ale, which is set to hit store shelves in the fall of 2016. But the new beer isn’t just about tasting good, it’s also about supporting a cause that affects everyone.

Downpour/Falseload festival over, heres some highlights:

First, all the mad cunts we camped with/near. Everyone was a top lad/lass and made the rain/mud more than bearable. Special shout to Sean the Human, a man who remembers his first beer, wakes people up at 8.30 by smashing beer cans open on his head, and isnt afraid of a punch in the balls or 10.

Friday: sidenote, almost died of hypothermia (slight exaggeration) from inadequate clothing. didnt realise it was monsoon season.

Babymetal - Very odd, but pretty good to be fair. The Kami Band (their backing band) are fucking amazing. will be doing some research into their members to see what else theyve done. Babymetal though, not sure its my thing. almost died laughing when one of them shouted ‘I WANT TO SEE A BIIIIIIIG CIRCLE’.

Lemmy tribute: bunch of pre recorded interviews spliced with footage of Motorhead’s last performance at Download. Disappointing, we had heard rumours it was gonna be a Saxon/Motorhead supergroup playing exclusively motorhead songs. Also, Triple H gets ‘the spirit of lemmy’ award from metalhammer - possible second post to follow on this.

Gutterdammerung:

Look it up, go see it, its amazing. A metal musical film, with the music played live. plenty of cameos, and they did the best Lemmy tribute of the weekend. 

Korn: saw 2 songs, one literally had the words ‘I fucking hate you’, we left. Nu-Metal is pretty bad, mkay

Rammstien: Fucking brilliant. Put on a hell of a show, as to be expected. never seen them before, will have to catch them again but they were amazing.

These men refused to clap for Jenny Beavan, who won an Oscar for costume design in Mad Max: Fury Road because she was rocking a leather jacket instead of a dress to the Oscars. But look at her confident walk!
