Star Wars Premiere is TONIGHT!

Who’s excited for the premiere!? Team Skoshbox is getting ready for the festivities with some Star Wars cakes, courtesy of Ginza Cozy Corner! Take a peek at these amazing creations with us: 

First of all, THIS BOX. Almost wish it were a hard-case or plastic container to stash things away in. This is definitely something we’re holding onto with our awesome Pokemon Happy Meal Boxes ;) 

Here is the complete set of cakes, all nicely arranged. Together with the box, it’s ¥2,000 or about $16. YES $16!  

If you look at each cake, it’s a simple presentation. Design on cellophane, some paper cutout details, frosting, and color. Nothing crazy, but all together as a set in the box is just DELIGHTFUL in a Christmas morning kind of way. You know what? The cakes taste damn good too! But to be fair, pretty much any cake you get from the Ginza Cozy Corner is some serious YUM. 

This is a smaller box set that contains 2 cakes- perfect for a couple’s night in. Again, look at THIS BOX!! Keeping. Forever. 

These are the cakes inside. So C-3PO is pretty funny by himself (hello yellow ball!) but if you look closely there are robotic details on the cellophane wrapping. They’re cheese mousse cake and lemon mousse cake, and together with the box it’s only ¥1,400 (or $11 US!) 

And finally, we trie these Darth Vader/Storm Trooper Pudding Cups! They’re light, yummy, and would look so great lined up as party sweets. Classy enough for a wedding, even and ¥291 or about $2 each. 

We give everything 5 STARS! The only semi-disappointment was the handful of cakes that aren’t very recognizable by itself, but as an overall package these cakes were honestly worth every penny. Super affordable, awesome packaging, and tastes great- what more could we ask for?
