I think it's cute if Texas thinks that he's admired for his "good looks" and "epic skills" (which you have, king!) but Mike actually likes him because a creative and compassionate sweetheart

I honestly don't think much about domestic stuff with ships, but mike and texas.. i don't know if they'd have kids but 100% they would take care of a bunch of orphaned kids in motorcity

stuff that pains me: the fact that Mike looks genuinely taken aback and confused in the season finale when Kane begs him not to drop Julie to her death. Like the face he makes when he says "If I didn't know you better, I'd almost believe you cared--" he is so confused and surprised and lowkey almost looks hurt and it feels really clear (to me, anyway) that this is a situation for him of "if he's capable of caring about people, why didn't he ever care about me like that?"
Especially given how quickly he shut down Julie's hostage idea originally, with the reasoning that "Kane doesn't care about anybody that much." Like he's been telling himself that Kane isn't capable of caring about anyone because then it hurts less that Kane didn't care about him in the way that Mike wanted or needed. And now he just has to look in the face the idea that that's not true, actually. Kane can care about people. When he wants to. And maybe, with Mike, he just... didn't want to.

Basically, I think if Mike were to visit Texas' family, he'd really be overjoyed with the warm familiar atmosphere.
And play with the kids. Maybe Texas gets a little jealous with how much attention Mike gets but they'll all have fun in the end :)
I find the headcanon of Mike being an orphan more realistic, more directly raised with Deluxe's propaganda, and basically raised to be a soldier. I think he's grown up around a lot of kids, but the sort of rivalry that this upbringing brings up between children can still make an isolating experience.
Inversely, I think Texas is really close to his family and lots of siblings. Probably loves to act cool like he doesn't care that much and likes to brag to his younger siblings.
