Advice to my fellow Dany/Jonerys stans:

I decided to make this post because i see many sweet people from the got fandom being absolutely heartbroken, and I want to help.

I’m not an expert, and probably the advice that I will write ,you it know it already BUT I hope my advice can become somehow useful. If someone feels alone and wants to chat , rant, cry , laugh it off with memes I’m here ❤. So:

Don’t watch the finale if you feel you can’t handle it. It will only make you feel so much worse.

If you watch it allow yourself to cry , to scream , call a friend and tell him/her how you feel. You need to get the heavy burden out of your chest. ( SERIOUS NOTE: DON’T DO STH THAT WILL HARM YOURSELF. JUST DON’T. YOU ARE A RAY OF SUNSHINE.YOU DON’T DESERVE PAIN)

Stay off from the internet. It will make matters worse.

If you decide to log in, blacklist certain tags and associate only with the dany/jonerys fanbase. Please DON’T visit the hateful tags. The haters don’t deserve your attention.

Don’t let it consume you. Focus on your school/university/work. Your education/ career is very, very important.

Find comfort in the people you love and tell them about your feelings. Hug them tightly and cry on their shoulder.

Find something that makes you laugh and distracts you from sadness. For me is watching Jar Jar Binks meme videos 😂

Don’t stay in. Go for a walk. Breathe some fresh air.

One of the most important ones: Take care of yourself. Don’t let yourself go.

When you feel more ready, be creative. Fan fiction or fanart or anything else! Even if you don’t publish it and keep it for yourself it’s alright! Creativity is a healer.

Engage into other fandoms. Find a new t.v. show, a new book , a new movie anything that will make you start feel better.

Keep the good times. Like the chemistry of the actors, beautiful gifsets and edits, fanmade videos, good fanfiction , the good friends you made from this fandom, anything that gives you happy memories and positivity.

Last but certainly not least, is that if you feel that as the time passes nothing gets better seek therapy.

I hope I somehow helped. This is very hard period for us , but I’m sure we can make it.

After watching the finale I’m going to have mixed feeling about Jon. Bc even though I luv jonerys Dany is my best girl and I’m not ready to see her go 💙🐉

Just remember, this isn’t Jon Snow. They side lined him, made him an extra, and made his only purpose this season to tear down Daenerys and then kill her. Try not to blame him, and blame D&D for being idiots.

and it’s a different time every year so they can’t even anticipate it, living their lives in constant anxiety for when their day of reckoning arrives to purge the land of their sins.

I won't blame Jon for the fucker his character has been turned into.. There was a visible shift in his behavior a total lack of compassion that just wasn't there before that just wasn't like him and sickness me to such an extreme

Honestly! Daario > Jon by a mile away at this point lmao. At least fuckboi 101 never put her in danger, never made her sacrifice anything and supported her.

I can’t blame Jon for the NPC they turned him into this season. He went from grabbing Dany’s hand and comforting her with his big heart eyes and open heart to shutting her out, not standing up for her, and not being there for her even as just a friend after she gave him absolutely everything and more. She just wanted his love or at the least his company and loyalty in return. This is S8 Jon Snow is as spineless and witless as they come. Lucky for him that makes him the hero who will slay the women who went mad with loss thanks to crossing path with him in the first place and yet his hands will remain clean.

A fuckboi Daario was but he did love her. I believe that. He would’ve done anything she asked and been by her side to the end but he was not her equal and she did not love him. She would’ve kicked him out of her bed eventually.

when her people in essos hear the news of her death. all those whose chains she broke, call her mhysa and love her, their savior... Such kindness, love and devotion to all only to be slaughtered and by the man she loves 💔💔

s@ns@ betraying Jon will be completely swept under the rug I'm sure. Barely addressed nothing more than “see I was right not to trust her” “it was for our family and the north all for the best” some bullshit posturing and will be alluded to or outright stated Dany needs to die..

Fucking Hate Everything

So you’re telling me that Jon Snow - JON SNOW! - who couldn’t kill a wilding woman he didn’t he even know - who was there to kill him - who he was sworn by OATH to protect the realm against- is going to straight up MURDER the woman he proclaims to love? The woman he has put all his faith and trust in? His queen? The woman who has saved his life multiple times? The woman who fought and would have died to protect the realm? Not to mention his own flesh and blood?

You’re telling me that I’m supposed to believe that a logical ending for Jon’s entire epic story arc is that he becomes a Queenslayer & a kinslayer, and exiles himself to the same damn place his story started? The same place where he was betrayed and straight up murdered? Nah.

EDIT:

And to expand on this - Jon still wasn’t able to kill Ygritte even after she SHOT him with three arrows, led an attack against Mole’s Town that killed multiple innocent people, and attacked Castle Black and his friends and colleagues.

So saying it’s a different situation because “Dany murdered innocent people!” doesn’t work.

It’s a disservice to Jon’s character and the people who have invested their time and energy into these characters.
