I want to say that I have been replying to a lot of your comments on our post. They’re so nice! For some reason, my replies aren’t showing up though so I think tumblr is glitching.
We appreciate you all though. And maybe they’ll show up when tumblr stops acting up.

just a heads up someone is commenting on your post recommending people to check their local dollar store first because they can get cheaper fidgets
Thanks for the heads up, anon.
I just wasn’t sure how to respond to that. I’m honestly in support of people getting fidgets they can afford. And they definitely have the right to share the resources. We definitely even try to share resources for people to make their own because we know they aren’t affordable to everyone. I’m mostly impressed that they said it was $1. I can’t remember the last time I went to a dollar store that was actually $1. I also don’t think some of our products would ever be available in a dollar store.
I will say that supporting our business directly supports us. We’re just trying to get by like everyone else and things have been a lot harder lately. We appreciate all of you that support us whether it’s by purchasing, spreading the word or even just silently cheering us on.

hey, what gives? no lesbian themed mobiis or bead rings :^(
Hi anon,
I haven’t been able to find the colours for the bead rings. I’m limited by the beads the craft store I go to has. And finding multiple shades of orange and pink just isn’t a thing I’ve been able to do.
And as for the mobiis, we order them from another small business and lesbian isn’t an option at this time.
We do have lesbian in the pride keychains and bead chews. We definitely try to be inclusive where we can but finding colours has been challenging for some of the flags.

I’m so happy to hear that! Spinner rings are my favourite fidget. Thank you!
Flappy Happy is a small Canadian business run by two autistic women. We ship all of our products from Vancouver Island, BC!
When it comes to getting fidgets in Canada, we've often noticed how difficult it is to get fidgets at reasonable prices. We aim to run our business while having the lowest profit margins we can to stay afloat.
We offer free shipping on Canadian shipments of orders of $70 CAD or more (and we have a lot of products, so it's not too hard to hit this amount! Especially if you combine orders with a friend). We also offer lettermail rates for applicable products (like our spinner rings). Our highest shipping charge is $15 CAD when shipping parcel, so know that once you hit that point, it won't go any higher.
When searching for fidget items, the vast majority are marketed towards children or the parents of children. We wanted to focus on adults that need fidgets. This partially comes from us wanting to say it’s okay to use fidgets (more than okay!), but also us wanting to include more discreet fidget items for those that may need or want them.
Some of our more discreet items include: fidget earrings, spinner rings, fidget necklaces and calm strips. A couple of our quiet items are marble mazes, and infinity yarn. We also aim to offer silicone chew necklaces in styles that are more discreet and stylish looking for adults who like to stim by chewing.
Our website is here!
We appreciate any help spreading the word!

I’m a huge fan of the fox honestly.
Tumblr media
I’m working on colour patterns for these ones today! So stay tuned. The paw prints will go on the existing paw print chew listing and the cats will be added to the other cat listing. Bears and fox will be new listings!
Colouring isn’t super great here because the yellowish bear at the end is actually wheat coloured!

Out of curiosity, what out of the products that you guys sell do you use yourselves? Which are your personal favourites? I like learning how other fellow autistics stim because it helps broaden my horizons on what kinds of things I can try that I haven't before, seeing as I grew up with extremely high masking in specific areas (like stimming) and I have trouble trying new things without direct instruction (even if it's just for fun... I'm not very good at sandbox style games, and Earth is a very big sandbox!). I have two chews and a fidget cube from you guys already (I like the rollable ball on the cube, and the spinning circle, as well as the clicky buttons) and I would kind of like some tips on what I should try out next time I get the money to buy some new things. I also know for sure that I definitely do not like those ball-ception type toys (i think it's trypophobia) and I'm allergic to most earrings (even hypoallergenic ones....), lol, but other than that anything is welcome! Thanks :)
I'm pretty bad at remembering to bring stim toys and fidget items places with me, so I tend to prefer things that stay attached/can't be forgotten. I like the keychain möbiis, calm strips (I have them on my laptop), and any of the jewelry items. I have a ton of fidget earrings, including some custom ones April made me that we don't sell on our site (shh, don't tell anyone). When I do remember to bring them with me, I like the marble mazes because I like fabric textures a lot, and it keeps my brain engaged and quiet when I have a task like moving the marble from one end to another. The wiggle caterpillar makes a really satisfying noise that I like quite a lot. Alas, it's constantly being forgotten at home because I have executive dysfunction.
-Irene
I have to second the mobiis and the calm strips. They are a couple of my absolute favourites. I'm also really into spinner rings, though that may be an issue if you have allergies with earrings, but they are a favourite of mine for sure. I find that it's something I can absent-mindedly do while reading and it prevents me from touching and picking my skin a lot. I also love marble mazes, but the cats is my favourite because it's a different texture than the other ones we have and is so soft and satisfying to touch. I also really love bead rings, especially having a handful of them at a time because it really makes a satisfying noise for me.

New variety packs of Calm Strips?
We are so excited to have these! These are the perfect packs for those that want a mix of designs instead of 5 of the same! You get 6 calm strips, each one a different design.
You can see our calm strips here, and I have sorted it so that the variety packs are the first ones you see!

you shouldn't even be selling to americans as a canadian business right now.
Despite the ongoing political conflict between the US and Canada, we do not believe that individual neurodivergent and disabled Americans should be punished for what their government is doing. Many Americans do not support the US president's economic threats against Canada, and many vulnerable and marginalized Americans are personally disproportionately negatively affected by what's going on. It seems unfair to deprive all Americans of access to resources that could be helpful in coping with these difficult times, and we have decided as a business that it isn't how we want to operate.

With the changes that came yesterday, we have now added spinner rings back to the site for American customers.
The rings cost a little more than they did prior, but we are paying the tariffs so there are no additional charges on your end.
We will likely be adding more products in the next few days, but we need to sit down and figure out how to price them so that we at least break even, but can also cover the tariffs on our end so there aren't unexpected charges when your package arrives.
Thank you so much for sticking through this with us.
