Quote
They call him a Sunflower. He turns his head towards the light, Dappled with acne and freckles, And shyly waves a near-transparent leaf. He bats his eyelids to the Sun As if to pull it close, as in some Desire to hold its warmth to his body. They call him a Sunflower. He bats his eyelids to the Sun, The Sun on an arm that hangs above His head, and falters. He gestures. Aimless, without understanding nor Care for his well-being, he re-enacts The scene all mothers fear. They call him a Sunflower - Pupils flash, dilate, retract, eyelids Gleam with light and lightning, Flicker like a lantern in the storm. Another wave, a gesture from that thin arm, Quicker now, as in perverse alarm, or in Some pidgin form of A.S.L. He makes A move to shield his eyes.

I’m not satisfied with this. I may be doing a rewrite.
