idea 1: my feeling that I do not have a traditional cultural dress because I am just in jeans and a t shirt is how most people felt about their clothes which are now traditional cultural dress, because it's about what you are actually wearing
idea 2: I don't have traditional cultural dress bc what I wear doesn't include an enormous hat, and if you look at any fashion history blog, traditional cultural dress has to include some sort of massive hat
wondering what a fashion history blog 100 years from now would have as my "traditional cultural dress"

it is 2014, I am 18, for some reason I can afford a wardrobe that is 75% glitter, I can get a taxi into central manchester for £7.50 and get absolutely rat-arsed in g-a-y for £20 to the sounds of duke dumont and bruno mars and then go to axm (now bloom) and do poppers and then walk to the midland hotel and get a taxi home

ironically it was a woman who made me realise that the "genital inspection" thing is a sort of BDSM sexual fantasy, and when genderists bring that up they are hoping that you will pretend it's a reasonable option because they want to fetish mine you

in a way it is very funny how stupid people get really angry about the concept of lesbianism because they themselves aren't one. "This word doesn't reflect the fluidity of my sexuality!" ok well don't use it if it doesn't describe you?
#'but youre pressuring me to say i am one when im not!' no we really only want lesbians to say theyre lesbians#you can and should be honest about your bisexuality

Caroline Norma makes a very interesting argument about ensuring men's sexual access to women, ultimately through prostitution, being how the state and its elites pay off middle and working class men and retain their submission to oppressive measures and expectations like war or poor working conditions. It's part about the presumed entitlement to gratification, and part ensuring that men are more focused on their class consciousness as male oppressors of women (as a status to enjoy) than they are on being expected to die in battle or work themselves to death.
She's writing about Japanese men during and after the war, but I think that idea is applicable in other situations. A lot of the "falling birth rate" false panic and efforts to ensure that women can't abort or divorce etc. and other right wing "women in the home" propaganda is because right wing states and capitalists want to introduce terrible working conditions to maximise their own benefits, but currently are not legally able to just supply men with a punchbag the way they used to. Men on the left also insist that they will be granted a state-controlled prostitute class as pay off for what they give to the state, and they don't see that this renders them unable to unite with women as workers, because they keep saying that they want us to unite with them in order to ensure our dehumanisation and state-controlled sexual abuse.

vampire gf comes to see you at nights to talk outside your door to try to tempt you outside, and one evening gets the idea to give you a bit of a show of what you've missed since she changed to see if it breaks you
(this is only about women)
