With each passing season, Steve seems to respect women more and more

Season one, he behaves like a douche, spray paints the movie house, and fights Jonathan. But what does he do after that? He realizes the error of his ways, that he has been a douche and helps Nancy and Jonathan fight the demogorgon when they needed help most. He wins Nancy back and respects her friendship with Jonathan

In season two, he is baffled and hurt by her behavior and distances him from Nancy once more. When he realized the error of his ways, he went to her house with flowers to apologize. When he sees and understands that Nancy wants Jonathan, he backs off. He lets her go and respects that decision. And forms a great friendship with the kids in the process. Great babysitter

In season three, he likes robin. They flirt back and forth a bit, and he soon starts to like her. But, she tells him that she is gay once he tells her his feelings. Rather than getting mad with homophobia or rejection, he just makes fun of her taste in girls and soon they’re both laughing their asses off in the bathroom. And they remained friends who went to look for jobs together

If more men were like Steve, the world would be a better place. He is truly a great guy with even better character development and also a great babysitter
