I will not be saying one bad thing about Aaron, sure he's got plot brain but as far as he's concerned, Robert does have form! He does get jealous! He does lie and manipulate to get people out of the way!

And what's he supposed to think when he sees an exact repeat of Lee, except this time Robert's his ex and has committed GBH on his current husband, who also happens to be Robert's brother - Aaron knows very well that Robert and brothers comes with a history of jealousy and violence.

He's trying so hard to push down all of Robert's good traits, and ignore how much he changed and how happy they were, and even in this episode we could see flickers of his instinctive need to defend Robert.

Underneath all the hurt, he does care, but right now he's looking for reasons to think the worst of Robert to protect himself, and Robert keeps giving him those reasons, and sending his walls up even further.
