Reblogging this to here even though it's not robot/tech related, because this is also my off-main Skibidi Toilet blog, and I sorta headcanon that the Skibidi plague is spread by fungal spores (because I love fungal horror tropes). Skibidis seem to be happy about their transformation, so maybe from their point of view they are deliciously surrendering to a glorious hive mind.

i want to be colonized by a fungal hivemind.

there's something about it that does things to me. i want to feel spores enter my lungs and tingle as they nestle into my alveoli. i want my immune system to catestrophically shut down and allow itchy little tendrils of mutant mycelium to spread out under my skin. i can imagine, ideally, that the fungus releases some kind of biological analgesic that soothes the intrusive feelings and turns them into a warm fuzzy feeling. i bet it feels so good.

when it overwhelms my fragile body i want to feel so weak and dizzy that i can't move; i want to feel soooo sleepy and i want to lay down and root into the ground and struggle with whatever remaining human instinct causing my muscles to twitch.

i can imagine the fungus has evolved to a point where it's past the infection stage and now assimilates all its infected into a collective consciousness and it's far too much for my little human mind. everything goes gray and slimy and slow-moving. my body is so heavy. those little tendrils erupt from my skin and make me sink deeper. so much deeper. it feels indescribably good. i'm not much more than a lump of biomass fueling the hive. my purpose is to feed the hive.

I'm curious about whether the PlayStation is functional. I thought the disc drive had to be opaque for the sake of the laser that reads the disc. I'm happy to be corrected though.

i love clear technology so much because imagine being able to see every detail of who you love? being able to truly say you love them inside and out? seeing all the aspects that makes them themselves?

To be a robot sat down for routine maintenance by your partner. Immobilized from the neck down for the procedure but still able to feel every screw taken, every panel shifted, and every wire moved.

Eventually they plug in their laptop and run a program to make you feel warm and fuzzy and giggly like laughing gas while they perform more dangerous and intimate repairs.

The inebriation and the touch of their love together sends waves of enjoyment through your body, unable to squirm and writhe in bliss. You can feel their code running through you like a burning poison, but you love it. You love them. You love this.

They tug on a few wires harder than they should have, not like you would have noticed. They coo and call you a good machine but you can hardly process it with how amazing this all feels. God they're just so beautiful, so much so that you don't even notice them running their fingers along your chassis with a look of hunger that always makes you squirm.

You're at their mercy, and by stars it is all you've ever wanted.
