Why do people who do X Reader fic on ao3 not tag it with Reader as a character? It's so rude to be looking at a character tag while having no preference for canon character ships and excluding the "Reader" and "Reader Insert" tags only to have half the fics that appear be X Reader fics.
And it's not even consistent. Sure, I could block Blorbo Of The Search X Reader, but then I find Character B, C D, E, and F being shipped with the Reader.
Its not even beneficial to you as an author to not tag them as a character. You loose potential readers finding fics by going "Reader" + Fandom in their search. This is why tagging helps.
