“I mean, yes... but what if it’s for my country? Because that feels a lot different.” She sighed. The french woman was always conflicting herself. Fleur began to pace.

“It will work out perfectly then,” he smiled back at her. “Yes I’m an actor.” He chuckled, “as long as it’s nothing bad.”

“Oh certainly! I’d never put myself in that kind of danger...although I guess it is  a little bit. But it’s also very important.”

“That’s good to know. Maybe you could teach me some French and I could teach you some English.” He smiled, “I play Captain America mostly. But I guess most people say I’m an actor.”

“I like that idea! You’re an actor? C’est genial!” She grinned. “My job is a little private, but I promise nothing bad.”

“English is my first but I’ve learned other languages. I travel for work sometimes and it helps to speak other languages.” Being an actor meant he travelled to promote his movies and learning other languages gave him a better way to talk to fans.

“Well if you need help on your French, I’m here.” She smiled warmly. “What is your work, if you do not mind me asking you.”

Lochlan shook his head, “don’t feel dumb. It’s one of the hardest languages to learn.”

“Have you tried to learn another language before? Is English not your first too?” She asked curiously.

Taylor hugged the woman. “We start with the basics and when they use big words ask them to give the definition or a different word.” Sara suggested. “If I’m around and understand the word I’ll translate it to French.” Sara replies.

Fluer smiled, hugging Taylor back. “I like the way you think. I cannot thank you enough for helping me out.”

Lochlan offered her a smile, “I’m sure it’s all something you will get used to with time. English is a hard language to learn.”

“Yeah, you’re right.” She smiled sadly. “I try so hard but I feel...dumb. I feel like I only know basic words.”

Taylor replies, “Yes miss. Momma is the smartest person I know.” The child spoke French and English. Sara rocked her son Adam. The three had met through Sara’s ex husband. And remained friends after the divorce.

Fluer smiled and shifted to sit up straight while still holding the little girl. “Okay, so if I want to learn, where do I start? I know the basics but sometimes people use big words I don’t understand.”

Lochlan nodded his head, “yes really.” He bit his bottom lip, “you can take English classes and then the American slang is stuff you will pick up as you talk to more people.”

“I must try English classes in America?” She hated how dumb she sounded, but it really didn’t make any sense to her. “I’m so confused.”

Sara smiled and nodded, “That was me when I first came to America. But being here for a while has helped. I’ll help you Princess.” She spoke in French the conversation hush hush as she felt her daughter, Taylor, crawl into the woman’s lap.

“I very much appreciate it, thank you.” Fleur smiled, both at the woman and her child. “Your mother is a very smart woman, you know?” She cooed at the child.

Sara flashed her a smile and spoke in French. “It’s okay you are new to America.” Her tan skin brightens her teeth. Her lap had two kids on it. “It’s great to have you here.” She said in English.

“Oh it is a pleasure. I love your children, too. It is just a shame I cannot understand what people are saying sometimes or I cannot speak the right answer back.”

Lochlan had just finished filming and was heading for a bite to eat when he stopped by a girl who he swore he had seen before but couldn’t figure out from where. “I think American classes are hard to come by.” He offered her a smile as he said it.

“Oh sacrè blur, really?” She sighed in defeat. “How do I become American citizen if I do not speak it?”

Fleur, being a new-comer to America, had always got her words in a muddle. Whatever she tried to say, came out wrong. It was hard for her to try and learn a new language over-night. “Oh dear.... I must get some American classes.” She laughed to herself.
